Neohome 2.0Common questions addressed...The information on this page is NOT from anyone employed by Neopets.com... This petpage seeks only to address some concerns of fellow Neohomers. Neopets has added a very handy FAQ section for V2 neohomes:How do I get a version 2 neohome?Neohome 2.0 is now in Open Beta! This means it is still being tested but all users can create one, not just Premium members.Users can create their neohome by going here: Choose wisely as you CANNOT delete your V2 neohome... I would suggest waiting 'til testing is over if you aren't 100% sure of the land you want... More options may be made available. How do I edit my V2 neohome?Go to "Your Account" and select "Neohomes" in the drop down menu (or use the link for Neohome Central above)... Once there you simply have to select "Customise My Neohome" and it should take you to editing section... This area is rather glitchy though and may not work the first time, or perhaps not at all. Also, the link on your userlookup will only allows you to VIEW your V2 neohome, not edit it.Will I get to keep my old neohome?The answer is yes... This was confirmed in Editorial 354. Nothing will happen to your "classic" neohome except its appearance on your ULU... The V2 neohome's image will take its place and your old neohome will be linked to underneath the image.Can we have V2 neohomes on our side accounts?Yes, you may as long as ALL the funding comes from your main.This question was also addressed in Editorial 354. Do they have multiple rooms and floors like our old neohomes?At this time there is only one room, albeit a big room, and one floor.For more info, view Neopets FAQ 804 Will the new neohomes cost neopoints to create?Perhaps, though in the testing stages the creation of one's neohome is free.What about the furniture? Will it cost us neopoints?Yes, there are items available for purchase with neopoints... There are also items available for Neocash at the NC Mall...At this time only the neopoint items that appear with the brown background in your inventory can be placed into your Storage Shed... All NC Mall appear to be working, though floor tiles and wall paint remain very glitchy... Do the old items work in Neohome 2.0?There are a number of old items that are now available for use... For my simple (and temporary!) non-comprehensive list of NH 2.0 compatible items, please go here:How do I add items for use in my Version 2 neohome?The quickest and most dependable way is to use the option which has been added to your Quick Stock... This works for all compatible items, including those from the Superstore.Okay, so I have added the items to my Storage Shed... How do I use them?Once you are on your "Edit" page, there will be a box at the very bottom... This is your Storage Shed... Simply click on an item and drag it to wherever you want to place it in your V2 neohome... To remove an item from you neohome, click on it and drag it back into your Storage Shed area.(This does not work with wall paint and floor tiles... Once applied you can only cover them up with another color, though this process is glitchy and doesn't always work.) How do I remove items from my Storage Shed?You go to the Storage Shed link at the top of your inventory/shops pages and remove them from there. This works very similarly to your Closet.So... I can add my pets to my V2 neohome... But why are they so tiny/big?The pets vary in size as they might if they were real... Chombies would be much larger than Pteris and Elephantes would dwarf Jubjubs.Has anyone figured out how to get back to the normal cursor from the paint roller cursor?
