Well, I was only a a small pup when our story begins. It was winter and my parents wanted to suprise me with a trip to the virtrupets space station, little did we know that Dr. Sloth had the same idea. When we came off the spaceship and entered the spaceport we realized that Sloth had taken over the place. Enslaved grundo's seperated me from my family unwillingly,"
Spreeie stops to take a break, her eye's get a bit misty but you notice that oddly enough she's smiling! Why would she smile at such a thing? She see's the puzzlement on your face and waves her paw in the air to show that theres more to the story.
Once I was seperated from my family, everyone was put into isolation capsules that were dark and eerie. I could hear the 'Zurrrp!' of the Grundo morphing blasters, changing each neopet in their capsules to grundo's that could be enslaved by Sloth. By the time it was my turn to be zapped into a grundo, I was in hysteria!
The door to my capsule opened and blinding light poured in, but then a dark shadow came over me. I looked up, it was Dr. Sloth himself! I cryed for mercy but he ignored my pleeds and loaded the blaster."
Spreeie closes her eye's in consentration.
What happened next was all a blur, Sloth had his blaster charged and aimed at me but when I closed my eye's and waited for the 'Zurrrp!' of the blaster I heard an unexpected noise, it was the sound of Sloth hissing and another lupe growling! I opened my eye's and watched in terror as a younge lupe fought with Dr. Frank Sloth! The lupe's only weapon was a flask of water which he splashed onto Sloth's hands. I could hear the sizzle of Sloth's skin burning from the water on it. Sloth screamed in terror as he clutched his wounded hands and ran away.
I was still quite startled when the lupe turned towards me and asked me if I was hurt, all I could do was stare at him and think 'My hero, my real live hero' so, I threw my paws around his neck and licked him on his cheek as a way of thanking him, for saving my life. When I did that he stiffened. I backed away from him and his military looking face turned to a warm smile and glossy eyes. I could have sat there for hours but Meckka (the lupe that saved me) turned and said, ' We must find a way out!' I sat there for a minute thinking and remembered that there were escape pods that would take us back to neopia.
once we were in the escape pods and waited to arrive in neopia we desided to make a promise to each other to never lose touch. Thats how this place came to be". You stare around at the beautiful feild you stand in. You had gotten so caught up in the story that you had forgotten the about the mistical surroundings. You turn to Spreeie and ask how she found this place, "Well, we new that Altador had lots of open space so we started searching over there. After a few weeks of searching we found this place. Meckka had bought a few bottle faeries and so he released them all here. after they blessed the land we desided that it would be an anti-war zone, where neopets come and go as they please."
You ask where Meckka is and spreeie's face fall slightly," once a month Meckka go's out for a week to be by himself . He's used to being free of neopets, friend, family, and a place to stay so sometime it's nice for him to become one with nature." You notice that Spreeie thinks very fondly of Meckka and you smile, then from the thick woods behind Spreeie you hear a low bark. Spreeie's heard whips in the direction of the sound and barks back in a soft, sweet, highpitched bark. A grey lupe emerges from the woods. His ears are black tipped , he wears striped socks on all four feet, and has on heavy eyeliner. You watch as Spreeie troughts happilly to his side and nussles him softly. You feel a bit emposing of the loving couple and leave to go back home the way you came.
