Smalltowngirl92's Layout Tutorial!

Welcome to my layout tutorial! I'm going to be using Paint Shop Pro X but I'm sure you can convert it into other programs! If you use this tutorial at all please credit me. If I see anybody use this tutorial and not credit me at all I will delete the tutorial forever. Have fun and I'd love to see your finished product!

What You'll Need

I did not create these stamps. All credit for them goes to their rightful owners. I didn't provide all of the brushes I used so you can add a little of your own style to the layout!

Step 1

I'm going to start out with a #000000 base. I'm going to make mine 800px by 680px, but you can make yours whatever size you want!

Step 2

Using the 1st set of brushes stamp the second one in two different places using #000000 and Use the first one two times in #fe189f, two times in #00c3f0 and one time in #00f437. Here is what I have so far:

step 3

Create a new raster layer and add some flower brushes in #a701e3. Here is what I have so far:

Step 4

Create a new raster layer and stamp 4 target brushes in #00f437 and set the layer to overlay. Then copy that layer and open a new canvas with a white backgroud. Then go to edit and paste as new selection (Ctrl+E). Then go to Selections, modify, then select selection borders and set your settings to mine below.

Then offset your border a little by just clicking and draging it a little. Here is what I have so far:

Step 5

This is basically a repeat of step 4 but use the color #fe189f.

Step 6

Create a new raster layer and stamp some random brushes in #00f437 and #a701e3. Set this layer to Hue. Border them just like you did in steps 4 and 5 but this time don't offset them.

Step 7

Create a new layer and use the ray brush and stamp it 4 times in #ffffff. Then set the opacity to 60.

Step 8

Create a new raster layer and add some white sparkles!

The Big Finally!!!!

Merge all of your layers together and sharpen it once if you want! Now all you have to do is add a blog, psd, and text (including credit for using my tutorial). Here is my final product:

I would love to see your finished product so please neomail it to me! If you have any questions please neomail me and I will be more than happy to answer them! :)
