Fish are swimming and splashing, and children are playing and laughing. Waves wash up upon the rocks, and you take off your now wet socks. The palm trees sway with a beautiful flow, and you have to leave, but you just won't go.
California will never leave for me, because it's here now. So why don't you just sit back, relax, and enjoy some nice cool lemonade.

About Us
The "California Day" part of California Day Reviews, comes from my love for the beautiful sunny days I get to spend with my family on the beaches of Santa Cruz (California). Every summer I go there to spend vacation with my relatives, and every day seems so special when I am there. Since I feel so great there, I wanted to bring some of the greatness here, to California Day Reviews! And ever since Wednesday, February 10, 2010, California Day Reviews has been filled with the Sun, Surf, and Beauty of California.
Every Summer I go to California (as shown above). And since I usually go away for anywhere from a Week to Two Weeks, I don't want you sending Neomails, and wondering why I'm not responding. So if you see an Animated Banner Above the "Home" Section, Don't worry! I will be back soon, and I just wanted to let you know! Plus, sometimes when I find a free time to go on Neo, I Will! So I will try to answer all of your Questions,Comments, and Requests, but don't be offended if it takes a while!

Layout & Banner: ( 22/25 points) I love layouts like this, (a image, with text inside) I really do like the ballon theme going on with it! I would make it a bit longer, and/or wider. It seems to bee at the top of the page, and you scroll down, (to see if there's more?) just to find more wallpaper. I like the girl with the ballons on the left, but when I think of ballons, I usually think of a little girl at a carnival, great way to mix it up!
Updates:( 15/15 points) You're on a hiatus right now, so you can't update. But checking your later dates, you seem to make progress, and update!
Grammar & Spelling:( 17/20 points) Good job! You can spell most things! Here are the only spelling mistakes I see: On Shop's Log, 7/28/2010, I won't have much time to update & make shields unti lthe 20th

Neatness:( 14/15 points) Your site is pretty neat! I like it alot! It has headings, page names, and is neatly organized! The only thing I would change about the headings is the font is a bit hard for me to read. EX: (Sitely) Listed At, to me looks like Linled Al.
Quality:( 22/25 points) I like your shields, but I would also try to expand your graphic requests more, like by making icons, or banners. But if you just want to stick to shields, I get that. I like some of your shields, but I would try to arn more techniques with making them, then make moving ones, or other graphics (if you want).

Layout & Banner: ( 22/25 points) It's a beach! Yay! I like the background picture of water washing up on the sand. My only problem is the corners of the outer text box/image transaction seems a bit fuzzy and pixel-y. You can see like specs on the rounded edges too! The Text on top is also a bit fuzzy, and is like whoah! A title! Also, the color of the text and background, makes the text a little bit hard to read since the font color is only a bit darker than the background color.

Layout & Banner: ( 21/25 points) A bit long? My old layout used to be long and then I went to a layout person and asked them how to make a layout where when you click on a link it practically takes you to a new page. I would first try a layout like that, see how you like it, and maybe get another layout later. The cupckae on the banner is a bit fuzzy also, it a nice banner though, just maybe when drawing (or however you mad the cupcake) try to make the top of the cupcake longer, and the bottom a little less "squiggly".
Updates:( 13/15 points) August 7 - August 2??? Did nothing important to your site happen then? But I guess you were busy, also try to make your blog posts shorter (1 layout finished today) so then you can have atleast, a week's worth of posts. Here's a tip for updating, if you have access to Neopets just go to your site first, finish up whatever and then relax. If you CAN go on Neopets, then work on your site! Rather then playing games, shopping, ...

Layout & Banner: ( 21/25 points) A bit flashy to me. The Navigation area, and banner really "pop" out. Now, that could be a good thing, or a bad thing. I think Chomby's(?) are very bright, and they stand out, but maybe make it a bit lighter. Your layout looks very long, but really, it isn't. Try to make it wider, so it doesn't look as long.
Updates:( 13/15 points) You seem to update, but I would keep you updates from about five dyas ago, or less if you wanted. Because that could still keep people informed about what you/people have done in/for your site.
Grammar & Spelling:( 19/20 points) No grammar mistakes, or spelling errors, that I could see. The on thing is that sometimes you put a coma whee a semicolon should go. But no one will notice it unless they copy, paste, and spellcheck.
Neatness:( 13/15 points) It's pretty neat, but as mentioned before, it looks a little long, and if you can't mkae the layout wider, put some of your text in text boxes to make the text shorter, and the page shorter too!
Quality:( 22/25 points) It's a pet directory and it's pretty hard to go wrong with those! What I would maybe suggest, is insted of having categories for Chombies Baby-Jelly, and Magma-Zombie, is have all the colous on on link for female chombies, and all the colours on the other link, for male chombies.

Layout & Banner: ( 21/25 points) The banner is a bit on the dark side, witha dark blue backround and a foggy flower/daisy on it. I think whoever made the banner should have put the darkr side of the text, on the lighter side of the imag, and the opposite on the other side. The layout itslef looks like it's a happy, fun, cheery place!
Updates:( 12/15 points) I see some gaps between dates: July 22, July 23, July 25, July 29, August 6. Now I know it's sometimes hard to update and we have problems in the real world, but if you are on ets and you have some time, try updaing rather than playing games, chatting on the Neoboards, or shopping.
Grammar & Spelling:( 12/20 points) Here's what I found: Home page: I created this directory for your conveinence, amymz2, It's spelled convenience. Use this directory as much as you wish, and mabye submit a site? (It's maybe) Under Reccomend a site. (It's Recommend): If you think a site is spactacular, why not reccomend it? (It's spectacular and recommend.) Under About Fleur: with the hope of being better, and being succesful! (It's successful)
