Intro

Hello(: My name is Lexie and I am applying for Talort. -Gives fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies to you(:- The only nickname I come up with is Tal. Not very feminine so I only use it a few times(: I would also prefer using Chrome. And by the way, I'm still learning the whole coding thing so please bare with me. I hope you enjoy(: Oh. I almost forgot. On this account it shows I have four pets. I'm just holding the bruce for a friend while she gets some avatar pets(: So she'll be gone soon. I promise.

About Me(:

On Neo
I have been on neopets for just over four years. I've never been frozen. So yes, I have followed TNT's rules all four years of playing. I don't own any side accounts because one of my sides have been hacked so I've just had everything on one account. I always have an extra page of my guild pulled up. I am head of the sub-council and am in charge of keeping things in line when leaders are unavailable. Currently, I am saving up for the lab map and plan to zap Scittey(Don't worry I word never zap Talort:)). I'm almost there. 60k to go^^.

Off Neo
I play a lot of sports. I am a huge cross-country and track runner. I also play softball and swim. I love to read. Currently I am on summer break and have read a lot of books already. I spend a lot of time outside. Me and my pals usually are outside doing something stupid and kid-like xD Now enough about me(:

Why Me?

Now, why should you pick me, Lexie, to adopt your spiffy pet Talort? Maybe because my charm, wit, and dashing good looks? Naw. Or because of my super-duper knock-knock jokes, riddles, and puns? Getting warmer! OH! I know! I have a special place in my heart for each and every one of my pets. They each get special attention, love, and care. I love to roleplay, so Talort will never go without a bit of roleplay on a petpage! Talort is such a nice pet, and I would NEVER, not even in my dreams, abandon her or morph/paint her into anything else. I will take the Pledge of Good Ownership:

If I am chosen, I, Lexie, pledge to be the best owner I can be for Talort. I understand all the sadness that she has been through, and so I will try my hardest and most best to keep her happy. I promise to be an amazing friend towards Talort and never put her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.

I was browsing through Neopound.com when I saw her. I like to look at Neopound; neomail users and see if I can help them out in any way. Well, when I stumbled on her, I was looking for a draik that jumped out at me, so I could help the owner. When I saw Talort, I was like, 'WHOA. I don't want to help the owner; I want to BE Talort's owner.' I promise to show full dedication to my new friend if I adopt him. I hope I don't sound conceited or too sure of myself, because I don't think I will be the new owner, but if I am, I will be a very happy person. To be honest, I think I would be very devastated if I didn't get her, she has a big sentimental value in my heart. I understand it's only a website but still, I would love to have Talort as my pet(:

Plans

My plans for tal are a little extreme but I think I be able to complete them over a good period of time and a lot of hard work. I plan to enter her into the beauty contest with the pictures for the artwork section. I am hoping to get a good enough votes just to get first in the draik category. I also want to use her as a roleplay pet. I've been trying to get better at roleplaying. I'm usually a warriors roleplayer so I'm not too fantastic at neopets roleplay. But I am sure getting better with my current pets. I am not too big on the battledome but I do plan on training her and getting her level nice and high because it looks very good on a pet. I also plan to boost her intelligence by reading a ton of books.

My current pets are used for helping me with my roleplay. I plan on getting better with them so when I get a pet more suitable, such as Tal, I will be able to do a good job instead of being the average n00b and messing up boards. I am also using Greenlight for artwork. I have a picture on his petpage if you want to go look later:3. Scittey on the other hand, I cannot draw a Gnorbu to save my life. I have roleplayed with him a few times but I usually use Calfrie. I just made Calfrie this month and painted her right away. I had the paint brush but didn't know what kind of pet I wanted(I'm very indecisive.) But I plan on her being a good roleplaying pet too. I haven't quite tried to draw her yet xD Hopefully it'll turn out pretty good(:

I'm going to try my hardest and draw her. I'm not very good at detail but I'm good at the basics. I plan to enter her into a beauty contest and hope to win. I entered my other pets with no luck. But hopefully I can get a few votes out of her(: But since that the picture was too big I put it on another petpage here

Story

The sun was hot on my silky, wet skin. My tail wrapped around me, it's tip slapping the cool water. "It's insanely hot out." I said loud enough just for my friend to hear me.

You're telling me! You can actually swim and play in the water, unlike me," Calfrie's grammar was actually pretty good for a little baby gelert. Her coat was golden and glistened in the sunlight. She scrunched her nose. "You know what. We need to go play something to get our minds off this heat.

She's a lot smarter than me. "Yeah." My tone was sweet with a little shy touch.

You know, I know you. You don't have to act all shy and innocent around me." She laughed. She always criticized me for my behavior, but she was the glue that kept me sane.
It's not an act." I scowled. She knew I didn't meant to be mean about it.

Later that day, we were playing our usual game with our usuki dolls. They both fit us quite well. She has a 'fun in the sun' usuki and I had my maraquan one. It was my pride and joy.
Swim away!!" Calfrie's doll said. At the corner of my eye I was able to see a strange object behind Calfrie. "What is that," I saw slowly. Calfrie giggled and brought the strange organism in front of her and onto her lap. "This is your new petpet!" She passed him over to me. I got a much better view now. It was a slorg. My face lit up with a smile. I was speechless. This was the best I've felt in years.

Tranfer Info. My favorite part. Well, if I'm chosen to be Talort's owner, I only have a little idea on what to do. I knew how to tranfer before TNT made the Transfer thing in the Pound. So please bare with me, if you could kindly tell me how to do it, if I'm chosen, that would be great! I would be a happy person! I have instant messaging and skype(what's ever easier for you). Calfrie Hi! I'm Calfrie! I'm a baby gelert. I wanted to let you know that I am so excited to meet you! Lexie said you might be coming to live with us:D I've been practicing how to swim just for you. I can't wait to play with you! With two boys around it's hard just to get a play mate. You know how boys are. I went shopping with Lex and found some awesome toys! I sure hope you like them, if you don't I'll be completely fine playing with them myself (; Well bye! I'm going to get back to getting your toys together(:

Scittey Hi. I'm Scittey. I wanted to let you know I'm happy to see a new family member hop on the looney express. Mind you it's completely crazy over here. Calfrie is always crying and being a little brat, greenlight is a huge bully, and I just lay low, sit back with a bucket of popcorn, and watch the show. It's quite enjoyable. Maybe if you come on into the picture it'll be a little more sane around here. I can't wait to meet you(:

I have a lot of books in there, as you can see. I plan to boost her intelligence just because it looks very good on a pet. I've been working on my other pets with intelligence and they're getting there(:
I have a bunch of bottled faeries and codestones for Talort. I plan to boost her level nice and high to make it look nice.
I have a bunch of toys(: Every pet needs a toy to play with.
This was pretty expensive for a plushie, but anything for Tal. (:

It would be pretty cool if I could have her current petpet if I am accepted as her owner. If you plan on keeping it, I plan to save up for a Maraquan Slorg(: (already have the slorg). I hope she enjoys all of her new items to-be(:

I know my story, layout, artwork, ect. isn't very good. I just want to make it clear I tried my hardest to make you happy and meet all your expectations(: Talort is a beautiful pet that I hope you find the right owner for her.
