You see a tall, silver anthro Shoyru frying pancakes over the hob. She is wearing a frilly yellow apron and cute smiley-face slippers. She has no horn, and no hair, and her thin delicate wings sparkle in the morning sun. She hums a frivolous little tune. Let's make pancakes! Pancakes pancakes! Have nice brown coats, Like foxes do! When they're brown is when they taste great. Does that mean a fox is tasty, too? You laugh and the Shoyru suddenly turns around and a pancake hits you square in the face and slides down to your feet. OH MY!" the Shoyru shouts. "I'm so sorry! You sure did scare me." She bends over and picks up the pancake and tosses it to a White Ona sitting on the counter. Well, hello. My name is Sasstet. I'm really sorry for throwing that pancake at you...haha. So um..." Sasstet leans against the counter side, tickling the Ona under its chin. "What's your name? guest, huh? That's a nice name." She smiles at you, then resumes flipping pancakes. "I suppose you're here to know more about me," she says over her shoulder, "That's very nice of you. Sooo... I love to make friends and I love being around people. My favorite colors are yellow and orange, and there's no place I'd rather be than here on Mystery Island. I can cook, sew, swim, read, housekeep, and do pretty much anything. I'll cook anything anyone wants. My favorite foods would be pancakes, fruit, oranges, pineapple, and Spooky Shakes. I am 21 years old, and my birthday is August 20th. {STORY} Sasstet seems to have stop talking. She's quit pouring out the batter, and is stacking the pancakes onto a cute little plate decorated with scribbles. She places the plate in front of you and grabs a bottle of syrup out of the cabinets. She sighs and watches you. Slowly, you pick up your fork and start to eat, she smiles. " Soooo...would you like to hear my story? It isn't much, it might explain my appearence though," she rubs her shiny bald head. I'm not sure I've told you yet, but I have a twin sister. Well...not really a 'twin' persay, she's more like a girl I grew up with all my life and we share the same birthday. When I was very little, I lived in an orphanage, and my roommate was Dagger. She and I got along real well, and we loved to refer to each other as 'sister' and we made a commitment that we would both be adopted together. Not that that really has anything to do with my story though," laughed Sasstet. I was born with no horn, and very deformed wings. One was brutally mutated, while the other never fully developed so it was cut to a stump. All the kids at the orphanage used to tease me, telling me I was a freak. Needless to say, because of my morbid or rather strange appearence, I had small hopes of being adopted. Parents seemed to pick out the smartest or the prettiest pets, not the ones who really needed the love. However, one day, during an outing to the beach, I came upon an Air Faerie. I didn't know what she was at first, but being my age I was curious. During out outing, I wandered a little ways down the beach, I didn't really want to join the other kids in their games of splashing each other. As I walked, I nearly tripped over a little glass bottle sticking in the sand. I bent over and picked it up, a weird blue light emitted from the bottle, and I was entranced. Being curious, I opened the bottle, and out shot a petite little Air Faerie. She had dainty little legs and arms, and flowing golden hair. She looked at me with her gentle face, looking me up and down. She frowned pitifully, and kissed my head. An unearthly sensation swept through my body, refreshing yet powerful. I slowly felt my wings fall off, in fact, they did. I saw them fall to the ground. But before I could scream, out of my back popped delicate whispy wings, wings like that of the beautiful Faerie. The swirling sensation stopped, and the bottle and faerie dissapeared. All that was left was the bottle, and a beautiful star, hovering in the air. Before it should disappear, but grabbed the bottle and scooped some sand into it and gently placed the star inside the bottle. After capturing the star, I looked behind me at my new wings, they fluttered and shone in the island sun. I attempted jumping and flying like all my other winged friends. And I found I could soar so high. I was elated, and honestly, that had to have been my happiest day in my life. Shortly after that day, Dagger and I got adopted...well...more like stumbled upon a crazy young girl who seemed to want to take us in. She's the one who owns this house," Sasstet pointed to the ceiling. "So that's my story {FAMILY} You have finished eating your pancakes by now. Sasster smiles. "Would you like something else to eat?" You shake you head. "Well, if you want something else to eat or drink lemme know! Oh, you want some water? OK." She grabs a cup from the dishwasher and fills it up with water and hands it to you. She then trots upstairs and comes back down with a box full of pictures. These are pictures of my family...seeing as most of them aren't here right now for me introduce you to. MAUD: "This is Maud, well, her fursona anyway. She basically pays for most of the house... like the heating, the AC, water etc." ANGEL: "Angel is a shy little Aisha. I saved her from drowning once. She and her twin, Flower, live with us. FLOWER: "Flower is Angel's twin. Flower is very loud and brash, and has a Southern accent. She is a very high matinence. She's very girly too. TIIPOTTO: "Tiipotto is the only male in the house. He likes pink, girls, hotdogs, playing his guitar, Usukis, and Pikachus. He is very...unusual. He has this ability to tick off Flower very well. LAINEX: "Lainex is a strange little Kyrii. She is generally quiet, but when she does speak, she is very sarcastic. She has a narrow view on the Neopian Race. She also enjoys reading and eating cookies. HIKANY: "This is Hikany. She is very quiet and always follows Lainex around. She goes a little crazy during the full moon, and she avoids being in direct sunlight." IBTWIN: "Ibtwin is the fashion-enthusiest in our house, she really enjoys making her own clothes. She's always wearing something different. {FRIENDS} These pictures here are of my friends." ANETTE: "This is Anette. I met her at the orphanage, she also had deformed wings and had them clipped. I haven't seen her in a long time though...I hope she's alright. HYDRANGEA: "Hydrangea rooms with Mutter and is her own bright light among her dreary life. She enjoys photography and being with people. SAM: "Sam is very dour and rude. He's not much of a people person, although he does like to be around Hydrangea. MUTTERMutter is Hydrangea's roommate. She is very strong and brave and likes to help others. She has a baby brother who she tries to shield from the cruelty of the world. HINA: "Hina is very out going, and slightly crazy. She loves the shiitake mushrooms and listening to music. TRAGICAL: "Tragical is my dancing friend. She's very passionate about dance. She is also mute and her right eye is made of glass. LATAPIA: "Latapia is an bright, bubbly little girl. She enjoys the beaches of Mystery Island and likes to visit our house very often. {CLEAR SAPPHIRE} You smile and place the photos back in the box. Sasstet seems to know what you're going to say. "You're probably wondering whose Ona that is on the counter over there." She points to the White Ona, with the sapphire eyes. "Well, her name is Clear Sapphire. I got her for Christmas one year. I love her very much. She is very quiet in temperment and she loves to watch me cook." Sasstet gets up from her seat and picks up Clear Sapphire, tickling her tummy. {ART} While Sasstet is cuddling Clear Sapphire you notice she brought down another box. You carefully open the lid and inside are more pictures. Oh," said Sasstet, "those are pictures Maud and other people have drawn/taken of me. You may look at them if you like." You hear Clear Sapphire cooing. -Pictures date from oldest to newest. Sasstet is ANTHRO.- That's me looking at my star. Me sitting on a little cloud. That's a picture of me holding a plushie Dagger made for me when we were little. I loved candy when I was little." Sasstet laughs. Haha...that's me trying to read one of Flower's 'Neoglo' magazines. This is a doll Maud made of me one day." :) {TOYBOX} Customs {GOOD BYE} Sasstet shuts the lid to the boxes of pictures. "I guess that's it then. Is there anything else you'd like to know, guest?" You shake your head. OK," she smiles, setting Clear Sapphire on the floor. Sasstet walks over to the table and picks up an orange from the basket in the center. "You can eat this orange as you walk home. Have a good day~!" She smiles, and shuts the door behind you.
