Guild News

Last week, the week of July 5th, was a productive week in Aesthetic history. Our guild is now up to 34 members and activeness is getting higher! We did, however, lose the leader of the Artiste team. If anyone is interested in stepping up as team leader, please check the website for more information. In other team news, Inkling page is finished, now located at /~Nyij. Sorry that this was so short, but the work was quality, not quantity.

On Submissions

Today's featured article is on none other than: Submitting your work to the newspaper! We're actually very interested in your work (imagine Shay and Jay working endless hours every week preparing numerous pieces of art, eww!) We want to see what you can do! And so does the rest of the guild. So don't be scared, go ahead and submit. But submit quality work.

So what should you submit? Anything at all! We have a photo-a-day up at the top, so submit your photographs and the best will be chosen. Maybe you'd like to write an article on finding great places to photograph, or on uploading pictures to the web. Perhaps photography isn't your cup of tea, and you're more of a Melody. Go ahead and write out why you loveee your Cello, or maybe start a series on how to write sheet music for the treble clef. You could submit comics about the antics of Peanut Butter and Jelly in the Kitchen, or anything else that suits your fancy. Write a story. Paint a picture. Show people. Submission rules are and will remain to the right of this text.

LOOKING FOR SUBMISSIONS!!!!

1. You can submit as many articles/poems/stort shories/comics/photograps as you desire.
2. Remember the neo-rules? Try to follow them so that Jay and Shay don't get iced.
3. I'm not going to give you a character limit or anything, I don't wanna bar your creativity. Just make sure it's long enough to get the point across.

5. If there's something you want bolded, italicized, underlined, or linked, be sure to tell us so we can code that in.
6. Nothing slanderous towards another user and nothing that provides indication of your location. We don't want anyone upset or dead.
7. Please remember to only enter your work. If you enter anyone else work, please give them credit.
