All About Lupe's & their Behavior

1. Help your Lupe not eat a real Chia- Lupes love Chias. Incase of your lupe eating a real chia buy them Chia treats! Chia treats come in different flavors and colors! Great for Lupes everywhere, buy them at the Chocolate Factory or the Bakery today!

2. Motivating your Lupe- motivating your Lupe to do Chores, homework, listening or manners may be difficult, no? Try giving them a reward, preferably a chia treat! After a couple of months by doing so your Lupe should do these task daily without a treat. But to keep all lupes on track give them a treat occasionally.

3. Caring for your Lupe- Buy your lupe some toys! To buy some Lupe toys go to the Toy Store! Once you buy your Lupe the toys, play with them! This will increse thier happieness. If you want your Lupe to be happy you might want to buy one of the following toys for your Lupe, Here are the top four Lupe's favorite toys:

Some of those toys are a little expensive. If you do not have many neopoints you might want to try buying your lupe a Blue, Red, Green or Yellow chia plushie! Red and Blue are the lowest on wiz. But becareful, this might train your Lupe to hunt down chias!

4. How to train your Lupe for battledome- Go to Mystery Island or Kwrawk Island and train your Lupe so he/she can increase his or her Indurance, Defence, Speed, or Level. Also your may increase these things by going to Coltzans Shrine. Other things can be given out there too.

To help your Lupe hunt down Chias.. buy them Chia Plushies and a bag of treats. Let them chew up the Chia Plushies and give them a treat when they chew the plushie up to pieces (very good technique for Lupes in training). Next step: Hide the plushies in bushes out side to warm up your lupe before real hunting begins!

    Evil Lupes
Here are some pictures of EVIL Lupes in Neopia... well evil enough to get into the Gallery of Evil! A picture and story are provided for each

Balthazar's Story of how he became *shiver* Evil...

Balthazar the Lupe was abandoned by his family on the edge of the Haunted Woods as a child. He crawled, hungry and thirsty, through the twisted forest until he came upon a clearing. He could see purple lights in the distance - darkness faeries. As he asked for help they started to giggle, and then to cackle, and all of a sudden they started picking up stones and twigs and threw them at the poor Lupe. Balthazar had no choice but to run away, yelping and crying.

He somehow managed to survive in the woods, living for years alone, and he never forgot what the faeries did to him that day... Balthazar is now a bounty hunter, capturing young faeries in his magical bottles... and selling them for huge profits.

This is the story of how the Ghost Lupe became Evil... *eek!*

Once brave Lupe knight was killed on the shores of Mystery Island in an attempt to rescue his bride from the natives. In death his spirit is restless, desperately seeking revenge.

Although sometimes this wayward spirit may aid you, his anger can easily be directed at those that disturb him... As with all the entries in this book we suggest you steer very clear! -- from The Gallery of Evil

Very little else is known about the mysterious figure known only as the "Ghost Lupe." There have been sightings and stories, but very little tangible evidence to prove its existence. Not that a lack of evidence makes anyone doubt there really is a Ghost Lupe... in fact, the story of his fallen bride and demise while trying to save her is the stuff of legend on Mystery Island. Doubting the existence of the Ghost Lupe is a quick way to lose face among the Island's natives.

Local scholars have tried to trace the legend to a historical character, but they've had little success. Almost no one on the island keeps written records of anything, let alone native tribes from hundreds of years ago. As far as the scholars can tell, the Ghost Lupe may have come from a boat trip that left mainland Neopia approximately two hundred years ago. The ship came to colonise the island but nearly capsized two miles from shore. A horrible storm stole two thirds of the passengers and crew, stranding them on the island.

The first mate of the crew, a young Lupe named Sylva, was the only officer who survived. He kept a log of the time that he and the other passengers spent on the island; it was a chilling account of their attempts to survive. The party's travails included an encounter with strange natives, witch doctors, and a fiery spirit wandering through the jungles. His last entry detailed a small group of survivors being captured by particularly nasty natives. "They were captured during the night," he wrote. "There were seven of them. I don't know what to do... I must rescue her." There are no more entries in the journal. The last line is what draws historians to believe young First Mate Sylva may have been the very Ghost Lupe who now wanders Mystery Island.

Since that dangerous time two centuries ago, Mystery Island has become a very different place. Since being chased away, most of the dangerous tribes now reside deep in the jungle, allowing the Island to enjoy a prosperous tourist trade. However, that single spectral figure continues to wander through the jungles, as a frightful reminder of what the Island used to be like... and what it may be again. After all, the dangerous tribes were only chased into the deepest parts of the jungle; they're still there...

And so is the Ghost Lupe.

    Heroic Lupes

    Not all Lupes are Evil..

The Lupe Detective will solve any mystery! *yay!*

..."That bicycle meant everything to me," Fantos the Grarrl said, visibly shaken by the loss of his bike. "I don't know what I'll do without it!"

I understand." Inspector Barik Von Lupe said, reaching for a pen. "So, did your bike have any distinguishing features?"

Hmm," the Grarrl answered. "It was blue, with white pedals, black handle grips and a black seat. Oh, and my name and birthdate are written, in yellow marker, under the seat."

I see," Barik said, scribbling down his description. "Is there someone who might have a reason to steal your bike?"

Now that you mention it, Gerton the Skeith might be a good candidate. Oh, and that pesky Lydia the Mynci; I wouldn't be surprised if she has a hand in this."

Very well," the inspector said, putting away his notepad. "I'll look into the matter straight away, and let you know if any leads turn up." Von Lupe thanked Fantos for bringing him the case, then went on his way.

After reviewing his notes during lunch, Barik decided to begin by paying Gerton the Skeith a visit. While he was on his way to see Gerton, Von Lupe was stunned by the sight of Lydia the Mynci, who was riding up the street on her mountain bike. She was with her best friend, Beerfil the Meerca, who rode a purple bike of his own. Rather than questioning Lydia right away, Inspector Von Lupe scribbled down some notes about what he'd just seen, and continued on his way.

Upon his arrival, Inspector Von Lupe was shocked to see that Gerton the Skeith lived under such horrible conditions. Gerton's bamboo hut looked as though a stiff wind might knock it over at any moment. Gently knocking on the door, a sense of pity overwhelmed the inspector when Gerton, a sickly old Skeith, answered the door. "H-how can I *sniff* help you?" Gerton asked.

Pardon me, my name is Inspector Von Lupe. I'm looking into the matter of a stolen bicycle. Would you mind if I asked you a few questions?"

No, not a-a-Achoo! No, not at all. Please *sniff* come in."

While taking a look around, it was obvious that Gerton wasn't the culprit. His cupboard lay barren, and throughout the inspector's visit, the poor Skeith's tummy rumbled from starvation. "Well, he certainly didn't EAT the bike," Barik thought. Convinced of Gerton's innocence, the inspector apologised for the inconvenience. "Hey," Von Lupe said on his way out, "here's fifty NP; how about treating yourself to some dinner tonight... on me." After removing Gerton the Skeith from his list of suspects, Inspector Von Lupe decided his next stop would be the home of Lydia the Mynci...

...After some brief fact checking, Barik hurried over to Lydia's place. "Hello, inspector!" Lydia said as Inspector Von Lupe approached them. "Have you solved any good cases lately?" the Mynci asked.

It's funny you should ask," Von Lupe replied. "It just so happens I'm working on something now. Perhaps you can help me." After explaining the situation, Lydia agreed to let the inspector take a look around.

As he searched the Mynci's home, Barik knew he'd find no evidence, because there wasn't any. He knew all along she didn't do it. Yet, while searching the room, Inspector Von Lupe found exactly what he'd been looking for. How could this be, you ask? Well, as he "searched" Lydia's home, the inspector also paid close attention to Lydia's friend, Beerfil. Sure enough, the Meerca was drenched in sweat, and his shallow breathing, nervous eyes, and pained expression easily gave him away. "Lydia, thanks for your help. Now, if you don't mind, Beerfil and I have to pay Fantos the Grarrl a visit, so he can give back his bicycle."

What are you saying?" Beerfil asked. "You think I stole the Grarrl's bike?!?"

Of course you did," Inspector Von Lupe said confidently. "It's obvious. My first clue was when I saw you earlier today. I noticed Beerfil was riding a purple bike, which was odd, because I thought the Toy Shop only sold that model in green, blue, red, gold, and white. So I did some checking, and sure enough, that model does NOT come in purple, which meant that you must have painted your bike purple. Now, why would you have done this, unless you were trying to hide the fact the bike was stolen? At that point, I was pretty sure I'd cracked the case, but when I saw Beerfil's nervous behaviour while searching the house, I knew I'd found my thief.

Just to be sure, Barik walked towards the purple bike and looked under the seat. "As I suspected," the inspector said. "When we spoke, Fantos said his name and birthdate were scrawled under the seat, in yellow marker. Sure enough, right here under the seat, it says, 'Property of: Fantos the Grarrl, 8th Day of Running, Y2.' A stunned look came over Beerfil's face; he'd had no idea about the writing under the seat, and now it was obvious he was guilty. Faced with this undeniable evidence, Beerfil confessed to stealing the bike, and agreed to give it back....
