Shop Spotlight!
We'd like to honor some of the nicely decorated shops in our guild, so we will have a monthly shop spoltight. Entries can be neomailed to dbelle until the 15th of each month.
Requirements to enter
- Be a member the Purkle Couch
- Make sure the shop is READABLE in both Explorer and Netscape. Ask guild members for help if needed. It need not look identical in both browsers, but it should load and text should be readable.
- Include a link to the Purkle Couch Guild. Guild Banners can be found here.
- Members may enter more than one shop/gallery a month.
How do I enter?
Neomail dbelle with the subject "Shop Spotlight". Be sure to include your member id, if the shop is not an actual member of the guild. Members can also enter other member's shops, just be sure to send all the information for the shop.
How shops are judged
- They must load in Explorer and Netscape
- The text must be readable on the page, black text on a navy background won't do
- No broken images or links
- Overall appearance and effect. Do the graphics in the shop go together well, do they fit a theme? Do the colors work well together. Is the layout even...
- If there is music, can it be turned off, or even better, turned ON if desired. Note that music in shops gets very mixed reactions from the judges...
- Does the shop load in a reasonable amount of time (more graphics and music is not necessarily better!)
- The items and prices in the shop are not important, although if there is a theme in them, that is fine.
Judging usually will be finished by the 17th of the month..... please leave your shop decorated until we announce that month's picks.
What happens when judging is done?
Our two favorite shops will be posted to the board, so everyone can go visit the beautiful shop!

If you've changed your shop you may enter again.
