Star Coordinates


Here is a way to get your star coordinates:

#1. First you must do the steps leading up to the constellation that you are looking for, or it will not be there. Also the Cords change with every new constellation.
There is a great guide HERE with Great Screenies
or keep on scrolling down for just the steps.

#2. Go to http://neopets.com/altador/astro.phtml?get_star_data=1
You must copy the WHOLE string of numbers as it appears. You can do this easily by hitting Ctrl + A to highlight the numbers, and then Ctrl + C to copy it. I recommend that you refresh at least once before you copy them.

#3. Go to Pet Central (on the Neopets sidebar), then click on Pet's Page,
then hit the Edit button of the petpage you want to put the coordinates on.
You can either clear the box first, or paste them at the bottom of it. You use Crtl + V to paste them.
Make sure that you push the Make Changes" button on the bottom.

#4. Steps to use boomspeed.....

Step 1. Get your cord numbers

Step 2. Copy all the data or on boomspeed under the instructions number 2 click the here button to get your cords.

Step 3. Go to the boomspeed website boomspeed.com/zaniam/theSky
Make sure to put www. in front of it.

Step 4. Paste all the data in the big white box

Step 5. Click 33 ,50 or 100%, your choice, I recommend 50% for the first 3 and 33% after that.

Step 6. Click on the Show Guide box

Step 7. Now choose which constellation that you are looking for.

Step 8. Click and drag the 6 circles that are outlined, until you find an exact match. Most will have a colored star in them....but not all.

Step 9. Now go back to your telescope and find them.

What to do when first starting out.
Altador

Enter the Hall of Heroes
Click on the Yurble janitor.
Click his button.
Return to the Hall of Hero's
Go to the Altadorian Archives
and click on the room on the right side with Finneus the Lenny Archivist.
Click on the book that's holding up the table
Go to the quarry to get a rock to replace the book.
The quarry is clickable on a little tree near the bottom of the picture left of center in Altator.
You will find the rock you need by moving your cursor around near the top of the quarry a little to the right of the center of the picture.
Some people are having trouble locating the rock; if you can't find the link try refreshing the page. You can also highlight the banner and hit tab 3 times, then hit enter and it works the same as clicking the link.
Return to Finneus the Lenny Archivist and click on the book...
... which will be replaced by the rock, moving the book over to a pedastel on the right.
Click on the book.
You can now read the Prologue by clicking on the upper corners of the pages.
Now go back to the Hall of Heroes
and click on the Yurble. He will tell you that you need some grease.
Return to the Hall of Heroes, and click on any Statue.
A new window will open up showing the front-side of the Statue; click the very top edge.
Return to the Hall and click on another Statue until you find the can of oil.
Take the oil; go back and push the Yurble's button
Push the button.
The ceiling opens up and light shines through. Back in the Hall of Heroes, everything will be bright now.
Return to the Hall of Heroes, and click on the stairs.
This will bring you to the Observatory.
Return to the Archives
and click on the center image on the bulletin board.
This brings you into the Astronomy Club.
Join the Astronomy Club to get your telescope.
Return to the Observatory and click on the telescope.
It takes a few seconds to set up...
Now go and visit the janitor and then to Finneus the Lenny Archivist.
Now you are ready to start the steps to finding your constellations.
#1 Darkest Faerie, the Sleeper
First go to the Tomb
Click the dots on the door
Now visit Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.


#2 Psellia, the Dreamer
First click on the cloud in the right hand corner
Click on the hole in the clouds
Now visit Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.


#3 Siyana, the First to Rise
First go to the Tomb again, click on the very bottom left hand corner (hints on Q & A page)
Look at the view
Go to The Hall of Hero's
Click on Sasha the Dancer's statue (she's the Cybunny)
Click on the window behind her
You will see six soft glowing spots...Click on one of them
Then go to Finneus the Lenny Archivist.
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.
From the club you will get "Astronomy Club Membership Badge" make sure to put that in your SDB or in your Gallery so it can not be stolen.


#4 Florin, The Farmer
Click on the little farmhouse near Psellia's cloud.
Next, click on the door to the windmill.
Once inside the windmill, click on the lever.
Then, click on the window behind farmer Follie.
There should be six little haystacks there, click on one of them.
Then go to Finneus the Lenny Archivist.
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.


#5 Sasha, the Dancer
Go to the Archives
Click on the Disco club poster
In the red light click on a circle
Then go to Finneus the Lenny Archivist.
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.


#6 Marak, the Wave
Go to the Docks..by the boat closest to the shore
Click on the wave right below the mast on the right side.
Now visit Finneus
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.
From the club you will get "Broken Shiny Astrolabe". You can take this to Donny to fix or you can leave it broken and repair it later on.
Make sure and put it in your SDB or Gallery so that it does not get stolen.


#7 Torakor, the Gladiator
Go to the colleseum in Altador
Click on each on the windows, and in one, a grarrl should ask you to join the Punch Club, Click that link
When you get there, you see three punch bowls, and a goblet inbetween the second and third punch bowls
Keep clicking on the punch if order of 3's,(see Q & A page)
and soon, the goblet will become clickable
Click the sun that is on the cup.
Now visit Finneus
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it,
Make sure to connect your last star to your first
...Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.


#8 Gordos, the Collector
Ok go to the different Altador shops to find the one for you.
At each one take out nps=to your inflation rate x100
Example 2.75%=275 nps
The different shops to visit and what to look for:(see Q & A page)
Illustrious Armory=coin purse
Magical Marvals=Scales
Exquisite Ambrosia=Chocolate Coin
You will only find one of these things, and it is different for everybody (just like the punch)
Make sure you refresh at the shop that you are in and your item will show up (if you are in the right shop for you)
Mine was the scales
Click the item (like you would buy it)
Now visit Finneus
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.


#9 Kelland, the Thief
Go to the archives
Click on Lenny in the hall
Go in to Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Click on the small vase behind him
Click on the meepit
Now go back and click on Lenny, it will not be the meepit he wants
Click on the HANDLE on the roped off door
Find your way around the library maze, Ok once you go in to the library, click on the door to the right, then the top door, then any other door, and your little door will become clickable (I have just been told that this does not work for everyone and you have to find your own doors, although it has worked for a lot of people)
Click on the smaller door and click the "hide the box" of meepits in there
Now go back to Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Click on the vase again
Click on the meepit again
Now give it to Lenny again, this time he will tear it's head off
Make sure to click the "Uh Oh" button
Click on the dagger he finds in there.
Now visit Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.
From the club you will get "The Astronomy Club" make sure to put that in your SDB or in your Gallery so it can not be stolen.


#10 Fauna, the Gatherer
Go to farm, docks, quarry, or tomb. It is different for everyone. Find the petpet and click on it.
Go to Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Click on the petpet
Go to the archives notice board. Click on the note for the Alchemy Club (poition one)
Click the medicine (It WILL NOT cost 30k, Finneus will stop you from paying)
Go back to Finneus the Lenny Archivist's office. Click on the petpet
There are 3 options.. Give medicine .. Wait .. Check in on the Vaeolus
Go back to Finneus
Return to the collesium
Visit the archways until a grarrl appears under one of them
Go to the punch club
In the back there is a table with pie on it
Click the pie and take a slice
Return to Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Click on the petpet, You can now feed him
Now go to the tomb
Click on the board on the tomb's door
On the bottom, back, right hand corner of the blob, click on the bandage(refresh till it becomes clickable, some say that it works to refresh at :59 and some say it doesn't)PS I have a screenie on the Q and A page.
Get the Mummy Bandages
Click continue
Go back to Finneus the Lenny Archivist
Click on the petpet, you now have the option to bandage him
SO, now when petpet look like he's sick and is gonna throw up=Give medicine
Holds up his paw=bandage
Drools=feed
Curls into a ball=wait
Now click on the action that he asks for once and only once...then at :00 or so, click on Check in on the Vaeolus, Now click on the next action he wants once and only once, and so on and so forth.....Do NOT go back to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, or click out of this window, or you will have to start all over again.
You will need to do this for 10 times, Watch the words Altador if they start moving down your page then you have done something wrong and need to go out and start over again. (see Q & A page)
Another thing that I have found out is to do nothing and have no other windows open...but the bird for those 10 mins.
A Skeith will knock on the door and give you certificate on behalf of the PPL
For the next clue click on the picture on the certificate.
Now visit Finneus
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club.


#11 Jerdana, the Protector
Go to the quarry
Click on the path at the top of the picture.
You will come to the Altador City Wall.
Towards the bottom of the wall right next to the grass is a clickable link. Just tab till you can find it.
Click on the medallion
Click continue
Now go and visit the farm Now keep refreashing till the farmer is worried about flooding
Now go and visit the Water Tower Refresh untill you are asked to help with the water tank. Click on the open door.
Go to the Left or right door and you will see a two more rooms. There is 3 levers clickable in the right room, and 2 wheels clickable in the left room.
Now you need to fiddle with the levers to try and get the water flow right. All I can say is fiddle around. When you get it right, you return to the entrance page where they tell you, you have done it right. Combo's on the Q & A page
Go back to the farm, and click on the windmills lever.
Now return to the medallion behind the wall, and click on it.
Now click on the center of the medallion again to see the Protector Constellation
Now visit Finneus
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, and Go to the Club in the club click on the pull off tab.


#12 King Altador, the Hunter
Make sure to click on the box under the pictures and not the back button for this constellation
First go up to the Observatory. Click "Return to The Hall Of Hero's
Click on a dot on the Floor
Go to the Archives and talk to Finneus
Now visit the janitor again..Go into the basement
Go back to the Archives and talk to Finneus again
Go to the Quarry...the rock is on the right side pile towords the middle
....or tab once to find the rock (see Q & A page)
Click "Buy a Rock for 50
Go and talk to the Janitor
Click "Visit the Basement...The gears become clickable.
Now click on a grear to "jam" the rock in..you will see the rock sticking in there.
Go back to the janitor and click on the sun button
You will see the ceiling
Click back to the janitor and back to the basement..now click on your rock to "take" it out
Click on a different gear and repeat these steps
Keep doing this till you have "jammed" the rock into each of the gears
Now take your rock out again and go to the Quarry
Click above and slightly to the right of the Green JubJubs hard hat (see Q & A page)
When they turn, click the rock to the right of the green jubjub, on the pile at the bottom.(I had to refresh for it to work)
Now click the rock above the green JubJub's hat again
Now you have 2 rocks
Go to the Archives talk to Finneus, and then go to the Herbalism Club (the green leaf one)
Click "the Circus?" button under the picture
Have her teach you to juggle (The button under the picture)
Go to the Quarry
Click on the green JubJub (I had to refresh for it to work)
Click to have them give you the rock...they had fun with your juggling
Go back to the Hall of Hero's, go and talk to the Janitor
Click "Visit the Basement...The gears become clickable.
Now click on three grears to "jam" the rock in
Go back to the janitor and click on the sun button
You will see the ceiling
Try and click on the dots as before, if you can not, then go back to the janitor...for a fairly easy method to do this check out the (Q & A page)
Now click on your rocks to "take" them out
Repeat the steps till you can click on the dots.
Now visit Finneus
Then, go to the Observatory and find your constellation.
Once you find it ..Talk to the janitor, Click on the statue and it's ceiling, Talk to Finneus the Lenny Archivist, Read the book, when you get to the last page of the book,
click on the Dark Faerie's flames in the picture
Go to the library
In each room are lots of books...you need to find the spell book...
The room combinations to finding your book seem to appear to be in multiples of three
So keep trying room 3up-3over, 3-6, 3-9 etc and try every book (there are 31 books) in each room till you find the spellbook...it will be one of the books on the shelves. (see Q & A page)
When you find your spellbook
Play around with different numbers to see what different spells do
Now type 29884 in to the spell book...it will say that it does nothing
Go to the Hall of Hero's
Click on the Dark Faerie's statue (the Sleeper your first one)
Now put the necklass on her...click continue
Click "Return to Council Chamber
Click to back to the Hall of Hero's
Click on the janitor
Go to the archvies
Talk to Finneus
Read the EPILOGUE in the book
Go to the club
