Hi there dear guest! My name is amstam179, and I'm a Gnorbu. I'm so glad that you've taken the time to come visit my page. You can call me Amstam, or Ams for short.

Watch me leap! When it comes to the Gnorbu species, we are generally best known for our spirited sense of humour. Unlike sly Ixi or mischievous Meercas, Gnorbu tend more toward witty remarks, comical stories, and quotable quips. You'll find that there's never a dull moment when a Gnorbu is around, because we're always eager to share a joke or tell a comical tale based on our experiences in Neopia.

My tale doesn't begin in the best of circumstances, as I was abandoned by my original owner almost a month after being hatched on the 19th of April. Fortunately, when I landed in the Pound, shusu_chan was looking for a Gnorbu! And not just any Gnorbu. A yellow or green Gnorbu (male to fit into her house of guys) and with a name beginning with the letter A. I fit the bill. Fancy that!

My room is built around this poster. I live with my family at the Arbor House. Anthur is the eldest, eclectic Abette comes next, and Aussie our Christmas lab-kook took over shusu_chan 's old-old office. (I joke because I love!) I'm the youngest. I moved into shusu_chan 's newer old office upstairs. Coincidentally, Altador was also (re)discovered at this time. I had a lot of fun climbing the foothills while shusu_chan peered at telescopes and talked to crazy Quiggles. border="0" I think she flooded the city a couple of times. Anyway, I was really inspired by the design! As a result, my room is decorated in the ~~Atlantis~~ Altador style. My little room has a lot of stained glass, depicting pertinent scenes from Maraqua and the Lost Desert. My history-inclined sibs, Anthur and Stars, stop by to teach me what they've learned about Neopian legends. (Abette stops by to show me how they're all derivative. I think he has a problem with Professor Chesterpot.)

This is my petpet Hewlett! He's a Jawshell. I named him Hewlett because of he's colorful and check out that jaw. ;) ~~Atlantis~~ Altador also inspired me to take an interest in petpets, since there's the persistent theme of taking in strays. My sibs' petpets are always welcome to walk and crawl up here for eats and games and the occasional death-defying stunt. Don't worry, I'm a supporter of the Petpet Protection League.

Gnorbu are excellent listeners, who enjoy hearing a funny story just as much as telling one. Our gift as Gnorbu is discovering the lighter side of life in Neopia, and it's a gift that we enjoy sharing generously. I like to visit my other siblings over on Mystery Island. I hang out the most with Anca, who's a four-hoofer like me. She also likes music. (I play the pan pipes whenever possible!) We go to as many Tyrannian concerts as we can. It's great to be part of a big family that's so welcoming. And so weird! Come visit me in my loft -- just don't touch the Meowclops Statue, because that's the way to the Lair of shusu_chan.
