Greetings. My name is abette1268 and despite appearances, I am in fact Male. Please do not suggest that I risk a visit to the Lab Ray to "correct" this. We Shoyrus are loyal to only one owner for life. Unfortunately my first owner abandoned me, but shusu_chan picked me right out of the adoption agency. Clearly she saw my inner beauty.

I am the first of many adoptees. My brother Anthur is the only sibling older than me, and I hold him in great esteem. We also live with our two younger brothers Aussie and Amstam, and of course shusu_chan. The first days of the 75997 hours of my existence are clouded in my memory, and I spend many a day at the Coffee Shop pondering that time. Yes, I often seek out my Shoyru brethren. There is something garishly poignant about the barista. Also I venture to the Ice Caves to visit the stoic Ice Crystal Shop proprietor, who has seen it all, from Snowagers to racing Poogles to cracks in the earth leading to heretofore lost lands. Yes, I have ventured to the latest "discovery" of Shenkuu, but I find the weapons dealer has an unsavory look about him, and the practice itself is somewhat deplorable.

I am indeed well-traveled! It is a small joy of mine to escape the confines of our Neopia Central neighborhood and explore the ever-evolving world of Neopia. (Seriously, do they expect us to not notice how often the world shifts around?) I try to keep up by reading as many books as possible. As a result, I have a 108 I.Q. It's also likely that the Faeries have taken note of this diligence; I have been blessed by a rare Faerie Queen quest.

Ancient Neopia came to the fore when I discovered Neoquest. One learns so much! There are forgotten cities, lost cultures, old magic. Here, if you are signed in you may sample the music of Kal Panning. Neoquest II was unimpressive, though I'm told the gameplay was better. Shoyrus were under-represented as usual. We are too plain for the masses.

Of course I do try to meet with the rest of my family. I help run the Satin Shop. Of the whole rambunctious lot, I prefer to spend my time with StarSong265. Kindly call her Star. She is the family historian, so she knows all about us. We've spent many a pleasant afternoon at the Art Center in the legendary Deep Catacombs, talking of Neopian inflation over a cup of Hot Borovan. My travels have also afforded me a chance to furnish my abode with objects d'art. Neopians with Flash can view my creative niche; turn the volume up, if you wish. Currently the decor reflects my interest in the Snow Faerie aka Taelia, though I am growing more intrigued by the philosophies of Brightvale. (Amstam is trying to turn me on to the glories of Altador, which though quite enlightened seems a world in stagnation.)
