I was named after the constellation Cassiopeia. One of the stars in Cassiopeia is 738 times larger than the sun, gives off 580,000 times more energy than the sun, and it can be seen without a telescope from the northern hemesphere even though it is 8,000 - 10,000 lightyears away (I don't know how far away a lightyear is, but anka_ tells me it's REALLY far)! It's one of the most luminous stars known!
