History: Altadorian Heroics is one of the oldest yooyuball squads in Neopia and have won well over 200 league titles. Though the team has been modernized and updated throughout the centuries, they still keep the same principles in their play and employ traditional methods and skills used long before them. It is said that if anyone wants to be a yooyuball player, they should first watch Altadorian Heroics play to learn the fundamentals.

Fans & Stadium: Home of the Heroes is a gigantic coliseum that can hold 65,000 spectators, making it the largest sports arena in Altador. At the entrance, fans can see marble statues of the twelve Altador heroes, along with a huge indoor pond that is said to bring good luck if you dip your finger in it. The Minitheus Gladiators, their more successful rivals, and members of Torakor usually have heated arguments over who the "gladiator" name belongs to as Torakor was described as "The Gladiator" in the Book of Ages.

Fans & Stadium: Many supporters come out to games sporting small plastic swords and shields, while the more avid fans prefer to dress like Torakor himself. Torakor's Coliseum holds roughly 50,000 seats and has an extendable roof that can be pulled closed to provide relief from the sun.

Ironically enough, it was founded many years ago by a group of scholars who decided they needed to get out more and enjoy the outdoors. They soon found their true calling – yooyuball. On the field, Brightvalers have a long history of being able to adapt to any situation, from down to four players because of injury or losing by three goals. Their unique "quick-fix" solutions make them a tough team to face.

Fans & Stadium: The Bureau of the Brightvalers is a yooyuball arena that can hold 20,000 spectators. The seating runs around the field in a complete circle and a stained-glass dome stretches over the entire area. Brightvalers have a multitude of fans in Brightvale who enjoy coming to their games. The largest fan club is called "The Brights". They started a trend where every time "Squeaky" Tressif scores, they rub their shoes against the ground, creating a squeaking noise.

History: Founded by King Hagan, this team is fairly new to the yooyuball circuit. For that reason, they have yet to enjoy the level of success other teams in the Brightvale league have. While the addition of Hagan Supreme brought the league to an even five teams, many have criticized referees for being too lenient on the King's favourite club. King Hagan then ordered that all referees should come from outside of Brightvale, thus ending that issue. Hagan Supreme stands out in their league for their strong defensive (1 + 3) formation and have produced high quality defenders that have gone on to represent Brightvale in the Altador Cup.

Fans & Stadium: Although Hagan Supreme can say that they have the most famous fan in Brightvale (King Hagan), they have yet to establish any sort of identity with their fan base. Their games usually attract many neutrals so they do not receive a lot of vocal support during matches. On the other hand, their most famous fan is also the richest citizen in Brightvale. Hagan Stadium is the largest arena in Brightvale and seats roughly 50,000.

Fans & Stadium: Though Knowledge United has a lot of fans thanks to their success, their supporters sometimes admit that their matches aren't the most exciting things to watch and regularly hope for new strategies and plays. History: Age is not a factor when it comes to Motes of Brightvale. While some say a few of the players are too old to be playing yooyuball, the Motes have proved these critics wrong by winning multiple league titles. Players at Motes are known for staying dedicated to their team, often denying transfers that would take them to a more successful club. Throughout its history, the team structure consisted of two of three older members that had more knowledge in yooyuball, but lacked energy and strength while the rest of the team were much younger players who had plenty of power but lacked experience. Players stay at the club for so long that once the older yooyuballers retired, the younger players had grown up by then and proceed to act as mentors to the new, younger members coming in.

Fans & Stadium: Their home arena, Motery Stadium, is located right next to Brightvale Motery (which makes the owner of the shop very happy, seeing as his profits double whenever there is a home game). At home matches, there is often a volunteer who dresses up as a mote and runs along the outside of the field, getting the crowd energized.

It has been argued that too many great players have been let go simply because they didn't earn a passing grade on the exam, but The Scholars refuse to admit anyone who hasn't scored a high mark into their squad.

Fans & Stadium: Center for Scholars is their home stadium, located in southern Brightvale. Visitors can purchase books and magazines in the small gift shop at the entrance. Their largest fan club, Scholarly Supporters, is actually based in Neopia Central and they frequently travel to the team's international matches.

While they don't score as often as other teams, it would take a miracle to be able to get the yooyu away from them, seeing as how they never stand still.

Fans & Stadium: There was a rumour a few years earlier that Darigan Dungeon, their home arena, was actually once used as a prison. The stories were probably begun due to the fact that the stadium has numerous cells lining the walls. Not known to be the cleanest stadium in Darigan Citadel, visitors are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks from home. In spite of the fact that Darigan Doom Club is very successful, they are virtually unknown in Neopia and have very few fans outside of Darigan Citadel.

History: The early beginnings of Menace of the Sky is somewhat murky. No one really knows who began the club or when it was formed. It is estimated that they were created around the same time that Floating Citadel was, though many (probably biased) people argue it was formed earlier. The team considers Floating Citadel to be their closest rival, mainly due to the fact that both of their club names refer to the same thing.

Fans & Stadium: The aptly named Danger Chamber is the home stadium for the squad. It has a dingy, dark and dreary atmosphere, not to mention that the temperature always seems to be below freezing. Other than that, it's a suitable yooyuball field. While the team does have a sizeable amount of fans, they make nearly no noise during matches, preferring to sit quietly in their seats. The eerie silence can make visitors somewhat nervous.

History: The club has an extensive history of signing robotic yooyuball players from Virtupets Space Station where they would then be reprogrammed to "bend" the rules, be more aggressive and generally do whatever it takes to win. Though referees and other officials have received complaints from other teams, no measure has been taken to reduce their robot tampering. The Darigan Demons are known for their overly hard-hitting players and less than clean tactics. That being said, the club is at the bottom of the table in terms of the number of league titles won.

Fans & Stadium: As with all yooyuball teams in the Darigan Citadel league, most fans are Darigan themselves. Actually, many yooyuball spectators in Darigan Citadel support multiple teams, so it's hard to estimate the number of fans. The Dark Field is their home yooyuball stadium. Instead of having electricity, massive chandeliers with thousands of candles are lit above the yooyuball field.

History: Cirrus United is the typical, old-school Faerieland yooyuball team that believes in a powerful defence and has minimal attacking options. They don't usually score but when they do it's most likely due to a mistake made by the other team. Their playing style consists of very little possession, focusing on keeping the yooyu out of their half. The team is also notable in the Faerieland league for having the least transfers made each year.

Fans & Stadium: Their rivals, The Alkenore Line-Up, built their stadium in a shape of a cloud, which was one of the ideas that Cirrus United had for their arena. While they wanted to build a stadium to honour their beloved mascot, Cirrus, they thought it would be a little bit tacky. They eventually settled on an outdoor yooyuball field with an extendable roof that looks like a blanket of clouds. Cirrus United has large fan bases outside of Faerieland, in addition to their local supporters. There is a fan club in Maraqua called "Underwater Cirrus", and one in Haunted Woods called "Scary Cirrus Supporters".

History: The Faeries of Faerieland are perhaps most famous for the way they work as a single entity, moving as a team and being supportive of each other. Players are taught to respect all of the teams they play against, although there could be one exception. There has been a long historic rivalry between Faeries of Faerieland and Jhudora's Judgement. You could even say that they are reflections of each other. The Faeries value honest play and victories earned through hard work, whereas... well, let's just say the two groups don't see eye to eye on many issues.

Fans & Stadium: This team is the most popular yooyuball squad in Faerieland and has the largest fan base there. Supporters are easy to spot in a crowd due to the fact that they wear giant, sparkly wings. Each month, The Faerie-Dome is transformed and redecorated to represent different faeries, such as water, light, fire and air. The Faerie-Dome ranks highly on Neopia's List of "Most Exiting Stadiums for Fans".

The team always has the least amount of fouls at the end of the season compared to other squads. Fyora's Faeries have kept the same formation throughout their history, opting for a defensive (1 + 3) formation.

Fans & Stadium: Located in the heart of Faerie City, Fyora's Faeries has many fans that continuously follow the team's matches despite their lack of trophies. The fans are described as being just as nice as the players on the team, never shouting any harsh words or booing opposing players. Their stadium, Field of Fyora, looks like a miniature pink palace from the outside and can hold 20,000 supporters.

History: Jhudora's Judgement (formerly known as Faerie Judgement) didn't always start out as the yooyuball champions that they are today. A while back, Jhudora revamped the team, throwing out players of poor quality (or those she didn't like) and inviting less savoury characters to join, attracting players from Haunted Woods and Darigan Citadel. Season after season, the squad always ranks high for teams with the most fouls. In spite of this, the team has been praised for bringing a more attacking style of yooyuball to Faerieland.

Fans & Stadium: Though Jhudora's Judgement doesn't have a huge following in Faerieland (in fact, they have the fewest fans in the Faerieland league), the story is different elsewhere. In Darigan Citadel, the largest fan club is "DC for Jhudora" and they refer to the players as "judges". Their home stadium is Jhudora's Courtroom, where the match referee sits in the judge's chair at the front of the field and fans sit on opposite sides of the field, cheering on their team.

History: The Alkenore Line-Up is definitely a team that has its ups and downs. When Alkenore was first established, it performed admirably, winning three league titles in its first decade. However, every year during the transfer window many of the team's top players get traded to other leagues and Alkenore Line-Up starts to fade in terms of yooyuball victories and championship titles. Eventually, members in the team become more experienced or they sign new players, causing them to win more of their games. Many critics have noted that if this yooyuball squad can hang on to its players and keep the same roster, they could be one of the best teams in Neopia.

Fans & Stadium: Their home stadium, Field of Clouds, is located in northern Faerieland. The building is quite noticeable since it's shaped like a giant, fluffy cloud (much to the annoyance of Cirrus United). Though The Alkenore Line-Up has a loyal (and moderately sized) fan base, they often show frustration in the squad's inability to maintain their success through two consecutive seasons.

For now, this new team is working hard to establish themselves as a top squad in Neopia. Their playing style includes short, quick passes and their main strategy is to create holes in their opponent's defence.

Fans & Stadium: Though they have a small fan base, their supporters are extremely energetic and loud during matches, chanting the players' names and beating on the giant drums they bring with them to every game. They do have a moderate fan base in The Lost Desert, with a club called "Desert Spectres" following all of their fixtures. Stadium of Spirits holds roughly 10,000 fans. The lobby contains stores selling official team merchandise and snack shops that sell gummy rats and eye candies.

Relying on their sheer strength and size, they intimidate even the best of yooyuballers with their forceful tactics. Though formed around the same time as The Phantom Nightmares, nearly all fans consider Southeast Vampires to be their main rivals. Their simple uniforms have changed very little throughout time – torn pants and an armband with their crest, a shadow of a howling werelupe in front of a full moon.

Fans & Stadium: Fans typically come to matches wearing official Were-Pets armbands and sporting wolf ears. The Were-Pets have a large fan base in Darigan Citadel as well, mostly due to their "in your face" playing style. Full Moon Arena, their home stadium, usually functions as an indoor yooyuball field. However, they open the roof up when there is a full moon.

History: As the only team with a defensive (1 + 3) formation, Southeast Vampires are known for their line of defenders, often referred to as "The Vampire Wall" by their opponents. Their playing style is truly unique and quite entertaining to watch. While they have tactics of their own, they are best known for their "Mimic" play. Knowing that most teams play with a set strategy, the Vampires take advantage of this by mimicking them and using their own tactics against them. Not only that, the Vampires have perfected this "tactic robbery" to such an extent that whenever the opposing team moves, the Vampires move in unison, making it look like a mirror image.

Fans & Stadium: As their name suggests, the club is based in the southeast of Haunted Woods, near the Haunted House. Their stadium is called Vampire Theatre is one of the larger stadiums, able to hold 30,000 fans. The inside looks like a regal opera house, with the yooyuball field taking center stage. The largest supporter group is called "Fan-pires" and they actually have a little shop that sells black capes with player names stitched in the back instead of jerseys.

History: The Candy Corn Crew was formed by a bunch of trick-or-treaters one Halloween night. With a love for yooyuball that is only rivalled by their love for candy and chocolate, the group of friends decided to combine the two. Despite producing a young group of players every season, they haven't had any real success compared to the other teams in the Haunted Woods league. They usually start the game off with fast passing and a lot of energy, but by halftime, their sugar rush declines and they become more sluggish. Focusing more on having fun than actually winning, The Candy Corn Crew has only claimed a handful of titles. Many suspect that if they put more effort into strategies and their techniques, they have the potential to become one of the greatest yooyuball teams in Haunted Woods.

Fans & Stadium: No matter how many league titles they win or lose, The Candy Corn Crew has a lot of fans that enjoy watching them play (at least in the first half of the match). Whenever the Crew scores a goal at home in Toffee Tower arena, twenty huge cannons placed around the field shoots candies and other treats into the crowd.

History: The Phantom Nightmares have enjoyed great success in the Haunted Woods league, winning the most championship titles so far. However, most of these titles were won in their early days. As the trophies and league titles came pouring in, so did high expectations and the pressure to win was massive. Because of this, the Nightmares stepped up their training regime, practicing six days a week for eleven hours a day. Their star players soon began to ask for transfers and the club had difficulty recruiting new members since many were scared off by the gruelling schedule. Things have gotten a bit easier – five training days, 10 hours each.

Fans & Stadium: Fans for The Phantom Nightmares used to flock to games in great numbers, but as the team's glory days are behind them, supporters are dwindling as well. The largest support club in Haunted Woods, "Fans for Phantoms", remain loyal to their team and are a constant presence in the front rows of the stadium. Located in the northern part of The Deserted Fairground, Stadium of Ghosts contains many training facilities and public yooyuball fields open for anyone's use. There are a lot of people who think that the stadium is haunted by the ghosts of former Phantom players.

History: As the most successive team in the league, Front Shore United have consistently developed many key players for the international Kiko Lake team. The team has gone through many formation changes, initially starting with an attacking (3 + 1) set-up. However, this didn't last too long as defenders were usually smaller in size and had tough times keeping up with the opposing team's forwards. Switching to a defensive (1 + 3) set-up left a huge gap in the number of goals. Front Shore finally settled with a balanced (2 + 2) formation and has never looked back. The team is probably most notable for the way they battle back whenever they're a few goals down. In one famous match against Lake Stars, they fought their way to win after being down at half-time by seven goals.

Fans & Stadium: Front Shore United enjoy a large fan base in Kiko Lake. For friendly matches outside of Kiko Lake, there is a travelling fan club called "Fans on the Frontline" who do their best to provide vocal support for their club. The Front Field is a relatively new stadium, located in the west of Kiko Lake. Less than a decade old, it was built after their previous arena was too small to fit the number of fans that showed up to their matches.

History: Kiko Creatures are known more for their strong defenders than their forwards. This often creates a hole in scoring, but the squad can scrap a win even if they've only scored once. The Creatures are recognized as having some of the strongest goalkeepers in Kiko Lake history, producing many fine players for their national team. As part of their training regime, goalkeepers stand in net for 300 penalty shots taken by their team members and save as many as they can.

Fans & Stadium: Having garnered a lot of international attention due to their skilful defenders, the Creatures have a lot of supporters around Neopia and in their own land. A lot of fans wear hats shaped like Kikos during matches, to show that they're one of the "Creatures". Their home arena, Stadium of the Kikos, is a building that is shaped like a Kiko and is located in eastern Kiko Lake.

History: Kiko Crew hasn't had the greatest time on the yooyuball circuit, but with a new board of directors taking over, the Crew have revamped their playing style and used their new funding to purchase world-class players. Critics have already seen improvements, but only time will tell whether or not this change will be truly beneficial to the club. As for their playing style, Kiko Crew has a balanced (2 + 2) formation, but focuses on strong defensive plays. Their defenders are not usually called upon to score often, leaving the forwards alone to take on most of the attacking plays.

Fans & Stadium: The Crew's Place, their home stadium, is located in the deep northern region of Kiko Lake and seats roughly 5000 fans. Being based in the forest and away from the main port, they don't have a lot of fans yet. The few supporters they do have are mostly based in Kiko Lake. They usually bring huge banners with the words "Join the Crew!" that they suspend from the rafters.

History: Kiko Karpenters Guild was formed by the owner of Kiko Lake Carpentry, who is a huge yooyuball fanatic. Having won four league titles in less than ten years, many are keeping an eye out on this team to see whether or not their success can continue. If it does, they have the makings to be one of the greatest Kiko Lake yooyuball teams. The Karpenters is a defensive yooyuball team, but that doesn't mean they don't score often. Their main method is to use a forward as one of the three defenders, which not only gives the back line more strength, but also increases their scoring chances.

Fans & Stadium: Being the newest team in the Kiko Lake league, the Karpenters have a moderate fan base, mostly those who know the store owner. The team is also well-known around Neopia thanks to the number of people who shop at the store. Their yooyuball stadium, Home of the Karpenters, is situated next to Kiko Lake Carpentry. It's a relatively smaller arena, holding approximately 3000 fans.

Fans & Stadium: Newer squads usually start out with a small number of supporters, but the buzz surrounding Lake Stars was so positive that they actually have one of the larger fan bases. The Star Arena (or the "Star-ena" as it's referred to by the fans) is their home field. It seats approximately 15,000.

History: Most notable for their attacking (3 + 1) line-up, Black Sail Pirates are famous for their complete domination when it comes to scoring goals. They are consistently ranked as being one of the top teams in Neopia, along with their rivals from Krawk Island, Scarblade Society. What makes them such a tricky team to play against is that they rarely use the same strategy twice, forcing their opponents into a state of unease.

Fans & Stadium: Their stadium always places high on "Neopia's most unique yooyuball stadiums". The yooyuball field is actually on a colossal pirate ship that is so large, it has enough room for 9000 spectators on the main deck. There are multiple lower decks with TV screens where fans who didn't get premium tickets can sit and watch the match. During the match, the ship sails around Krawk Island. They also have a stadium on land, called Home of Black Sails that seats roughly 20,000 spectators. The club has a large number of fans who are exceptionally loyal to their team. Supporters of the squad can be easily spotted, as they usually wear pirate hats that bear the team's symbol of a pirate ship with ripped sails.

They aren't really associated with having a set of strategies, preferring to act on the spur-of-the-moment.

Fans & Stadium: While the Lagooners have a large fan base in Krawk Island, they are known to be quite harsh and critical at times, even to the point where they would boo at their own players if they perform poorly. Regardless, fans are extremely loyal to the club and their criticism seems to have decreased lately. Loch Stadium is most recognizable for the moat that surrounds the building with wooden bridges lowered for fans to cross over whenever there's a match.

History: Though being one of the older yooyuball teams in Krawk Island, Pawkeet Plunderers are never considered to be major contenders for the league title. This is probably due to the fact that many of the other teams focus on attacking and scoring goals. The Plunderers are content with sitting back, leading to many feuds between the lone forward and the multiple defenders. Several of their plays and strategies revolve around getting the yooyu back into their possession, where they would try to keep hold of it for as long as possible. The defenders never venture outside of their own half, leaving the center forward without any support.

Fans & Stadium: Pawkeet Plunderers have a sizeable fan base, mostly owing to their longevity rather than their limited success. The Plunderer's Bay is their home yooyuball field and can hold about 20,000 spectators. During matches, huge beach balloons in the shape of a Pawkeet are tossed around in the crowd.

History: Rumoured to have been formed by Scarblade himself in order to increase his own wealth, this yooyuball team upholds the tradition by wearing his signature long, dark-red trench coat. Today, just as it was in the olden times, players would attach their yooyuball slingers at their waist, much like a sword. Scarblade Society has an aggressive yet elegant technique, with players learning how to move their slingers similar to attacking sword. As being one of the original five national clubs, the Society has won the most league titles so far. Their biggest rivals are the Black Sail Pirates and matches between them are said to be the dirtiest games in all of Neopia, with fouls happening every other minute. Legend tells of a historic match where both teams replaced their slingers with actual cutlasses.

Fans & Stadium: The yooyuball club has a vast fan base throughout Neopia. Fan clubs include The Red Coat Boys, Scarbladers and Scarblade Society's Society. Their stadium, Scarblade Sanctum, houses about 50,000 sports fans. It is rumoured that a portion of Captain Scarblade's treasure was hidden beneath the field.

History: Just because Silver Cutlass Captains has a defensive (1 + 3) formation, doesn't mean they spend all of their time defending. The squad's defenders not only guard, but also act as second strikers, assisting the center forward in attacking plays. They're described as being one of the cleanest teams in Krawk Island, rarely fouling their opponents. The Captains generally score plenty of goals, but have yet to find their momentum in the Krawk Island league, enjoying limited success and are often overshadowed by the other teams.

Fans & Stadium: Silver Cutlass Captains has a fairly large fan base in Krawk Island, thanks to the fact that it's located near The Academy. After hitting record low attendance at matches, a newer (and less dingy) stadium was constructed. The Captain's Ship holds 25,000 seats, which are usually all filled during home games. International supporter clubs include Kreludor's "Captains on the Moon" and Faerieland's "Silver Faeries".

History: As the only team in the Kreludan league with an attacking (3 + 1) formation, D-Fying Gravity's matches are never short on goals and excitement. Their strategy is to score as much as possible and worry about the defence later. Most of the time, they win due to the fact that they've scored so many goals so it doesn't matter that their defence is much weaker than their opponent's. While criticized for focussing too much on only one aspect of yooyuball, D-Fying Gravity has had a lot of success with their playing style.

Fans & Stadium: Their home stadium is Free Fall Arena and like many others in Kreludor, contains a "no gravity" yooyuball field (though it's not used for matches). D-Fying Gravity has a massive amount of supporters in Kreludor and around Neopia, thanks to their thrilling approach to yooyuball. A few places where the team doesn't have a lot of fans? Mostly places like Krawk Island, Shenkuu and The Lost Desert, where the technical and strategic aspects of the game are more emphasized and appreciated.

History: Galactic Yooyus ranks among the top yooyuball teams in Neopia. Not only are they a high-scoring powerhouse, but their defence has shown itself to be consistent from season to season. Historically, the only real problem lies in their excessive injury woes and lack of stamina which prevents the team from winning multiple league titles back to back. Their playing style involves many long passes from one half of the field to the other, which reduces any unnecessary runs.

Fans & Stadium: As one of the oldest teams in the Kreludan league, Galactic Yooyus have a large fan base. Whenever the home team scores in Galactic Yooyuball Sports Arena, supporters throw a handful of glitter and paper stars onto the field. The stadium recently finished construction to expand the arena, which now contains a main field for matches and smaller fields for training.

History: Kreludan Adventurers is the most successful yooyuball team in Kreludor to date. Founded by a traveller who crashed while exploring space, the Adventurers have been all over Neopia learning different yooyuball techniques. Their core strength is in their ability to score goals from any point of the field, whether it's close to the net or from their own half. As a way of honouring their founder from many years ago, players don a uniform that is similar to a space suit. Their slingers are formed from a compound that is almost weightless and their equipment weighs less than a feather.

Fans & Stadium: The club has a very vocal fan base that do their best to accompany their team to all of their matches. Their home ground is Adventure Arena, a newly built stadium that seats 23,000 and features a zero gravity playing field.

History: A common misconception is that Kreludor Meteorites was formed in Kreludor. The club was actually founded in Mystery Island after a group of tourists visited Kreludor and one of the sightseers, who was a yooyuball fanatic, decided to form a team based on the meteorites he had purchased as a souvenir. After hearing about this, the officials in the Kreludan yooyuball league extended an invitation for them to be relocated to Kreludor.

Fans & Stadium: The Meteorites' home stadium is called Meteorite Isle and is decorated to look like the jungles of Mystery Island, making it a favourite destination for many MI yooyuball fans. Capable of holding 10,000 spectators, the stadium has an artificial "sun" and simulated clouds to make it seem as if the day is turning into night. The squad has a huge fan base in Mystery Island but has fewer fans in their new land.

History: If there was one team in Kreludor's yooyuball league that nobody bets for in new season, it's Spacebounded. Whereas other teams focus purely on defence (see D-Fying Gravity, Kreludor), this team is all about the defence and has little thought for anything else. Sometimes, Spacebounded manages to surprise its fans, the critics and their opponents by pulling together a string of victories and ultimately taking the league title. This has happened very few times, however.

Fans & Stadium: Spacebounded has a small fan base in their land and are virtually unheard of outside of Kreludor. Still, the supporters they do have are loyal and do their best to cheer their team on. Their stadium, Universe Yooyuball Field, is the smallest in Kreludor, holding 4000 seats.

History: As the legend goes, Golden Pharaohs was founded by one of King Coltzan's ancestor and was his majesty's favourite yooyuball team. With this kind of attention and many expecting great things from the club, the Pharaohs have surely earned their place as being one of the greatest clubs in yooyuball history. Back in ancient times, the squad consisted of royalty and their close friends and family members. Today, the Golden Pharaohs' lay claim to many of yooyuball "royalty", such as Vickles and Soley. Known for the way they work as a single unit, the Pharaohs play a style described as being "electric yet smooth".

Fans & Stadium: Due to their success, they have large support groups all over Neopia. In Faerieland, their largest fan club is called The Pharaoh's Faeries and in Neopia Central, there's Pharoah Phanboys. The Golden Geb, their home arena, is a massive ancient pyramid that seats 75,000.

History: Pyramid Patriots was one of the first yooyuball teams formed in The Lost Desert and in their long history, they've reached not only great success but also fell to the bottom of the table. The biggest factor in their erratic playing seems to be nerves and pressure to perform well. The same problems seem to plague each and every new member that joins this team. The Patriots have yet to unlock their true potential but when they do, it's possible that they could become one of the greatest exports of The Lost Desert.

Fans & Stadium: Able to hold 27,000 spectators, The Desert Patriot is a giant sphinx that houses their home yooyuball field. The building is so enormous that the sports facilities only take up half of its capacity. The rest is usually filled with souvenir shops and food stalls that are usually crowded with customers whenever there's a game. Pyramid Patriots have a large fan base and their games attract a large number of supporters from all of over Neopia, making tickets very hard to come by.

History: Traditionally, Qasala City and Sakhmet Union have always had a strong rivalry with each other. Based in opposite sides of The Lost Desert, the yooyuball team of Qasala City has won more than double the amount of league titles than their adversaries. Nonetheless, matches between the two clubs are always a special occasion with both sides pulling out their secret weapons and strategies. The Qasala City team is considered to be one of the oldest clubs in The Lost Desert, second only to the Golden Pharaohs.

Fans & Stadium: Fans can be unruly and extremely loud at times, especially during derbies against Sakhmet Union. When playing against other teams, fans are less wild but are still passionate about supporting their team, singing "Qasala City, Jewel of the South" for most of the match. Most, if not all, of their fans in The Lost Desert have Qasalan backgrounds. Their home stadium, Qasalan Center, is located in the heart of the city, surrounded by many shops that sell jerseys, banners and other official team merchandise.

History: Currently at the bottom of The Lost Desert yooyuball league in terms of championship title wins, Sakhmet Union is the only team to not have won any seasons back to back. With such a poor history in yooyuball (which is something their rivals, Qasala City, like to point out), it's no wonder that one of the wealthiest citizen in Sakhmet City left a large portion of his fortune to the club. With new funding, the Sakhmet City yooyuball team was able to afford better players and hire more experienced coaches. It looks like the club is about to write a new chapter in their yooyuball history.

Fans & Stadium: The team has a large number of fans in their hometown of Sakhmet, but due to their lack of success, they have very little followers outside of The Lost Desert. Their home stadium is located within the walls of Sakhmet City, near the Food Stall. Sakhmet Yooyuball Field holds approximately 25,000 seats and from the air, the building looks like a Selket.

History: The Anubis Allegiance, like most of the teams in The Lost Desert, are a technical squad that excels in passing and strategic thinking. Being the only defensive (1 + 3) team in the league, the Allegiance has a long history of producing world-class defenders and goalkeepers. Their playing style is more focussed on the defenders moving the yooyu up the field, instead of having the single forward do the job. Most of their strategies involve a chain of one-touch passing to create empty spaces in front of the net.

Fans & Stadium: Their home stadium is quite recognizable and stands out in the north-western region of The Lost Desert. The Temple of Anubis was built to look like a giant Anubis petpet. Although it is one of the smaller yooyuball facilities (holding roughly 20,000 seats), it contains many restaurants in the lobby. The Anubis Allegiance has a medium-sized fan base in The Lost Desert, with most of their supporters coming from different parts of the desert region. For home games, it is customary for fans to sing the official theme song, "Our Great Anubis", at the beginning of the match.

History: As their club's name suggests, Arkmite Attackers is a team that uses a pure attacking formation, with three forwards and one defender. In their first few seasons, the Arkmites did not do very well, finishing well off the lead. Despite the fact that they score in large numbers, the team had not signed a defender capable of taking on more than one forward at a time. Things changed when the club took on an additional defender to replace one of the forwards. While still using a 3 + 1 formation, they can instantly switch to a 2 + 2 formation to help the lone defender. Today, they try to sign players that can work as both defender and attacker.

Fans & Stadium: At matches, fans usually wear hats in the shape of Arkmites and they like to blow bubbles towards the field whenever a member of their team scores. The player that scored would often try to pop as many bubbles as he or she can, much to the delight of the crowd. Field of Arkmites is their home stadium and is shaped like a giant Arkmite. There is a special gift shop near the entrance where fans can purchase team plushies, Arkmite hats and electric bubble blowing machines.

Kelp is their major sponsor so the team receives a large percentage of their funding from the restaurant, making them the wealthiest club in Maraqua.

Fans & Stadium: Though they have many championship titles to their name, Kelp United has much fewer fans than any other team in Maraqua. Perhaps it's due to their unexciting style of play, but whatever the reason is, their ticket sales are the lowest in the league. The small amounts of supporters they do have are usually customers of the Kelp restaurant. Their home stadium, Sea of Kelp, is located near the restaurant and can hold roughly 18,000 spectators.

Over time, their talent pool has decreased, which resulted in fewer matches won. While many have criticized their playing style as being "too individualized" and that they needed "more teamwork", their tactics haven't changed much since their inception. However, with more yooyuball players coming to Maraqua, it seems hopeful that Maractite Field have a chance at winning the national league in the future.

Fans & Stadium: Though relentlessly mocked and ridiculed by other teams as being a dreadful yooyuball squad, Maractite Field still has a strong fan base. Fans of the team are extremely loyal, though they can get frustrated by the lack of success. However, they are extremely vocal and will cheer until the final minutes of the game. Their home stadium (also called Maractite Field) seats 10,000 and have many souvenir shops that cater to the fans.

History: Maraquan Marauders has been the home of many world-famous players and as such, has had the most success in the Maraqua yooyuball league. Their secret to winning is focusing on a combination of scoring and acquiring players who can play outside of their roles, whether it's a defensive forward or an attacking defender. Though the club is fairly new, it is already ranked as being one of the best yooyuball teams.

Fans & Stadium: Their home stadium, Maraqua Sports Arena, looks like it's encased in a giant bubble underwater. There's a special dock floating over Maraqua where submarines are stationed. Whenever there's a game, it would take spectators down and enter the oxygen rich "bubble". Thanks to the beautiful underwater atmosphere, tickets for matches are always sold quickly. Maraquan Marauders have a lot of fans from all over Neopia, though their largest fan base remains in their own land.

History: Underwater Revolution has been edging closer and closer to their rivals, Maraquan Marauders, in terms of championship titles for some time now. Though they don't usually sign many big names in yooyuball, they are able to put out a consistent squad each season. Using a balanced (2 + 2) formation, the squad's focus is on accurate passing and marking their opponents' forwards. As with most of the other teams in the Maraquan league, their matches aren't the most entertaining to watch, but they stick to the basics and try to win games which has proved to be successful for them so far.

Fans & Stadium: The Revolutionary Arena is located near Maraquan Battledome Items, who is one of the club's sponsors. Able to hold approximately 15,000 fans, the building is shaped like a spiral sea shell and contains two yooyuball fields. Underwater Revolution has a large fan base in Maraqua. Though not counted among Neopia's best teams, they do have many international fans as well.

History: Noble Yooyu doesn't have the most respectable history but they have more than made up for their past faults. Originally accepting only players in the upper class, those policies have since been abolished. Today, everyone is welcome to join the team and all members are named as honorary knights. Unlike most of the teams in the Meridell league, Noble Yooyu has a faster playing style and likes to rely on speedy attackers and defenders. Not having many strategies beforehand, most of their decisions during matches are made spontaneously. Partly sponsored by King Skarl, the club is the most prosperous (in terms of funding) in Meridell and always have new equipment for each season.

Fans & Stadium: Most of their fans come from the cities and more populated areas in Meridell. In rural areas, the team is still disliked ever since the incident of Gaius Brikthin many years ago. Overall, the team has a moderately sized fan base and does have some international fame. Their stadium is located near the palace and can hold 13,000 spectators. Shining Knights is the name of their arena and it was built in a shape of a cylinder, representing both infinity and equality.

History: Founded by the legendary Gaius Brikthin, Peasant Peoples United is a team that is extremely proud of their early beginnings. While they have not won the national Meridell league as often as the bigger and wealthier clubs, they pride themselves in playing fair and giving their all. The players have stated many times that regardless of whether or not they win, they try to have fun on the field and give everyone a chance to play.

Fans & Stadium: They have very few supporters other than their friends, families and neighbours. Still, there is a sizable fan club in Altador, who admire the team's principles. Due to a lack of funding, their home field is an open stretch of land where it was rumoured that Brikthin's house once stood. Since there aren't any seats, fans usually crowd in a circle around the field, shouting their words of support.

History: Team of Illusen (formerly known as Evergreen Valley Team) is the oldest professional team in Meridell's yooyuball league and have won the most championship titles so far. While they are also one of the wealthier clubs in the land, they prefer to build their squad from within, recruiting players from Meridell before going abroad. Their playing style relies heavily on good communication and teamwork, with everyone doing their bit to get the yooyu into the net.

Fans & Stadium: The club has since relocated their stadium so that it is situated near Illusen's Glade. Their home yooyuball field is called Illusen's Grove and seats 10,000 spectators, making it one of the larger stadiums in Meridell. The team is exceptionally popular in Meridell, but also has a large fan base in Brightvale and Neopia Central. Fans usually show up at matches wearing green, whether it's a green t-shirt, hat or scarf.

History: The Farmers Fraternity is the oldest yooyuball club in Meridell, but did not become competitive until much later. By the time they entered the league, other teams had already earned multiple titles. The Fraternity started off as a balanced (2 + 2) formation but quickly changed to a defensive (1 + 3) set-up after realizing that they could not keep up with the technical skills of the other yooyuball clubs. The team consists primarily of farmers who try to earn a living playing professional yooyuball and hopefully make enough Neopoints to share with their hometowns.

Fans & Stadium: The Farmers Fraternity's home field is a modest facility located in the eastern regions of Brightvale. Their fans pitched together to raise enough money to build a functional yooyuball field that seats 2000. The Fraternity team members are well-known for doing their best to keep in touch with their supporters. They hold a small festival open to all supporters at the end of each season with the players themselves cooking all of the meals.

This philosophy has led to both success and failure, but Symol United feels confident in their game.

Fans & Stadium: Situated in southern Meridell, Symol Sanctum can hold 9000 spectators. Symols play an important part in the stadium as there are numerous statues of the Petpet everywhere and stands selling Symol plushies and t-shirts. The team has a small fan base in Meridell, mainly because they are newer. They also have many international fans around Neopia as well.

They focus on technique and skill and though they may not be exciting or thrilling at times, players often feel that their club is the future of Moltaran yooyuball.

History: The club was established by a group of miners who worked at the obsidian quarry. After seeing yooyuball being played around Neopia, they decided to create their own team. Using their vast funding from the obsidian quarry, the miners eventually became the managers instead of players themselves, opting to let the "younger folk" play under their banner. Obsidian Armoury is a defensive-oriented team and though they don't score that often, their tidy footwork and clever plays still wow the crowd.

Fans & Stadium: Their home stadium is located near the quarry and is considered to be Moltara's best arena. The outer wall is made entirely out of obsidian and blends right into the rest of the mine. Visitors to home matches will be given a free gift bag, including team merchandise and, of course, obsidian. Seating around 5000 fans, it's one of the larger stadiums in Moltara.

Fans & Stadium: Already receiving high praise from critics around Neopia, their home arena is a wonderful sight to behold. Fantastic Lights is the name of their stadium, and from the outside, it looks like a circular, paper lantern. The atmosphere is always bright and cheery, with thousands of lamps hanging from the ceiling. There's even a souvenir shop that sells figurines of players that light up or glow in the dark.

Can you guess what the souvenir shop sells? Marlock posters, pens, hats, t-shirts... Just about everything here is about Marlocks! The stadium seats around 1000 spectators, making it the smallest in Moltara.

History: Mystery Tombola is a yooyuball team named after the Tombola game. The team considers Tiki Tack Yooyu Squad to be their biggest rivals and try to earn the Tiki Tack Man's approval by winning games. Mystery Tombola is partly funded by the Tiki Tack Man (he seems to enjoy yooyuball a lot, since he's involved with two teams!). Their yooyuball strategy is neither focussed on attacking or defending. In fact, they're quite the "by the books" team. They have no playing style to call their own.

Fans & Stadium: Their stadium , Field of Chance, is located in north-western Mystery Island and has a capacity of 10,000 seats. In the lobby, there are stands where visitors can purchase Island merchandise, Neocola and other snacks. Mystery Tombola has a fairly large fan base in Mystery Island, though they can't be described as enthusiastic by any means. Supporters of the squad are not particularly vocal during matches, but they do travel in large numbers to away games.

History: It was founded by "Munchie" Mulroon, a sailor who was thrown overboard during storm and drifted onto the sandy shores of Mystery Island. Based in the southern regions of Mystery Island, this is a team that always seem to consist of the friendliest of players. On the yooyuball field, they are known for their high percentage of possession and complex passing. In one match against their rivals, Tiki Tack Yooyu Squad, they passed 184 times consecutively and scored, much to the delight of their fans.

Fans & Stadium: Sandy Shores have a huge fan base in Mystery Island, as well as Roo Island and Kiko Lake. At matches, supporters are usually not as vocal as other fans, but whenever a goal is scored everyone takes out their pan flutes and plays the Sandy Shores theme song. Their stadium, Beach Side View, is very picturesque and has won numerous awards, such as "Neopia's Most Innovative Stadium". Made entirely out of sand, no one really knows how it manages to stand up. Regardless, it is strong and large enough to seat 20,000.

History: The Geraptiku Giants, like Northwood Were-Pets of Haunted Woods, rely on their massive size to dominate the yooyuball field. Overpowering the majority of their opponents with their powerful players and outrunning their rivals with speedy ones, the Giants have only one priority and that's scoring. Founded by one of the archaeologists that explored The Lost City of Geraptiku, the Giants' approach to yooyuball is much less methodical and strategic than other teams, but they are more known for their accurate long passes.

Fans & Stadium: Home of the Giants Yooyuball Arena is a pyramidal-shaped temple, capable of holding over 15,000 spectators. The stadium was originally located in The Lost City of Geraptiku, but poor match attendance forced them to move to the northern regions of Mystery Island, outside of the city. Fans of the Giants often chant "Geraptiku, Geraptiku, Geraptiku..." during matches as a way of intimidating the opponents and their fans.

History: When The Island Yooyu Troop first entered the competitive league, there were high hopes for top finishes from both the players and their fans. While the roster of players remains consistent in skill, they are lacking that final ingredient that can turn their team into champions. Time and time again, they have ended their season just a few points behind 1st place. On the field, they are known for their tight defence and above average goalkeepers. Many seasons, they sign two center defenders and one would act as the center forward. Though other teams may become irritated by their constant defending, it has proven to be effective for them.

Fans & Stadium: Located in the south-western region of Mystery Island, The Island Circus is their home stadium and has won "Neopia's best stadium atmosphere" multiple times. The mood is always festive and the smell of popcorn, cotton candy and freshly baked cookies fills the arena. Fans, in keeping with the circus theme, often put on red clown noses.

History: Being one of the oldest teams in Mystery Island, Tiki Tack Yooyu Squad have won their fair share of trophies and championship titles. They are masters of using the long pass, mainly because their forwards usually just stand near the net or try to get into an open area on the field. The roles of the players have always been sharply defined at the squad – defenders defend, and forwards score goals. With no thought for innovation in the game of yooyuball, Tiki Tack Yooyu Squad is successful only in their own land, but competing against the best teams around Neopia is another story...

Fans & Stadium: Tiki Tack Yooyu Sqaud is one of the better funded clubs in Mystery Island, with the Tiki Tack Shop being their main sponsor. Their home stadium, Tiki Field, is situated on the southern shores of the island and can hold roughly 15,000 spectators. The arena is a massive hut, with a bamboo yooyu motif on the roof. The team has a lot of fans, mostly because of how famous their sponsor (Tiki Tack Man) is around Neopia. For games, supporters often sport multi-coloured leis.

History: Blumaroos of the Isle is a professional yooyuball team located on the eastern coast of Roo Island. Traditionally, their style of play has neither been focussed on attacking or defending. Rather, they tend to run circles around their opponents, forcing a chase in an attempt to wear them down by half-time. Very rarely do they ever score in the first half of the game, leaving a tremendous amount of pressure on the forwards for the second half.

Fans & Stadium: Their stadium, East Isle, is a unique yooyuball field in Roo Island because it floats on top of the water on the east coast. The field remains completely sturdy even though there may be waves. This is because one side of the pitch is attached to the coastline. Spectators sit on the bleachers on the beach and cheer on their favourite teams.

History: On average, Dice-A-Yooyu Team is the youngest squad in Neopia. Unlike other youthful squads (like Lagooners of Krawk Island), they aren't as focussed on yooyuball as they are about having a good time. This explains how they hold some of the less wanted records, such as having no wins in two consecutive seasons. Being such a young team, however, means that they have time to grow and adopt new techniques. Most of the time, their yooyuball game suffers from a lack of experience and strategic thinking.

Fans & Stadium: Five Dice Stadium is located in central Roo Island, near Dice-A-Roo. Able to seat 5000 spectators, it is one of the smaller yooyuball fields but has many open training fields that the squad uses during their off season. Dice-A-Yooyu doesn't have many fans yet. They're relatively newer than most of the more successful teams and haven't gained much international attention.

History: King Roo Company was founded by King Roo himself, and is currently ranked as the most profitable and wealthiest team in Roo Island. Every season, their roster contains many world-class players of the highest quality which explains their success for being such a new team. The team is known for having solid goalkeepers that are particularly adept at penalty saves. As part of their uniform, they wear a cape similar to their founder.

Fans & Stadium: King Roo Company has garnered many supporters, both regional and international. Fans often wear capes with their favourite player's name stitched into the back, so it always looks like there are thousands of King Roos in the stadium! The King's Korner is their home stadium, located in south-eastern Roo Island. It can hold 21,000 spectators, making it the largest yooyuball stadium on the island.

History: Founded by the Roomister family, Team Roo Roo Roos predominantly showcases yooyuball talent from Blumaroos. While other species of Pets have been known to join the team, the majority of their most famous players have been Blumaroos that have gone on to represent Roo Island in the Altador Cup. As the most successful team in Roo Island to date, Team Roo Roo Roos are always under a lot of pressure to perform well each and every season, which leads to high pressure and arguments between team members.

Fans & Stadium: Since the team is based in the northern region of Roo Island, this puts their stadium, A-Roona, near the residential district. Being the most popular squad in their league, they have expanded their stadium to seat almost 20,000. Their largest fan club is The Roo Sector and they also sit in the north part of the stadium.

History: The Von Roo Squad was originally founded in Haunted Woods and renamed by a group of Count Von Roo fans. The team was later relocated to Roo Island where they have made a name for themselves in the yooyuball world. Similar to their long-time rivals, Team Roo Roo Roos, The Von Roo Squad uses an attacking (3 + 1) formation. Derbies between these two teams are always exciting, as many goals are sure to be scored. Though they have a lot of firepower, one they suffer from is inconsistency.

Fans & Stadium: The Blu Vampire is their home arena and can hold approximately 7000 spectators. Located in southern Roo Island (near Count Von Roo's house), The Von Roo Squad has many fans in their own land, but possibly have even more supporters in Haunted Woods. There's a variety of fan clubs based in Haunted Woods, such as "Von Roo Yooyu Group" and "Vampire Blumaroos for the Cup" (which consists almost entirely of Blumaroos painted Halloween).
