On a clean, windy winter day near the peak of Terror Mountain, you stand in a deserted tundra, wondering where you are. You zip up your coat to your neck, as the bite of the cold hits your skin. Unfortunately, your warm, furry friends aren't accompanying you today. Your teeth begin to You hear a voice. The voice has a icicle-like tinkle to it. The singsong voice is saying something you can't quiet make out. You freeze. Not in cold... but in fear. Your eyes squint in the bright blue light. A large shady figure is approaching. The singsong voice gets louder...
*Fear not. I am here to take you somewhere warmer... You don't want to freeze out here, do you?* You squeeze your eyes shut. You feel the warmth of body heat as the creature comes closer. You feel a nudge. The large animal wants you to get on its back. You assume it's a female due to her voice. You clutch onto large clumps of fur. The rush of adrenaline hits you as the creature takes off into the air. The cold wind rushing at you makes you keep your eyes closed.
You feel a hard bump as you landed. Hm. the flight was over as soon as it took off, it seemed... You open your eyes. The large animal is an Ixi. But what is an Ixi doing near the peak of Terror Mountain?
The Ixi leads you into a huge cave lit by several fires. There is nothing in there except a few boxes, a stereo, and a human-sized bed. The stereo is playing a song quietly.
*My name is Ximiax, and welcome to my humble home, guest. Statistics...chatter. If you do not find warmth soon, you'll surely die of hypothermia. The cold sun blares on you, not giving you warmth, but the feeling your being watched.

Petpet... This is Eve, my Faerie Slorg! We've been together as long as I remember. Her name is one of my favorite names ever. She accompanies me almost everywhere, however, she's probably out collecting berries for us right now. She's a real help on missions, too! A lot of people sadly see Slorgs as gross little slimebags, but people forget how cute and helpful they are!

A large black and green buck bounded out of the trees. His fur was dotted with green spots in random area. His dark violet eyes shone with a love so deep…
Suddenly, a lilac doe appeared out of nowhere. She was gorgeous, with indigo belly and neck fur matching her lilac hue. An indigo line ran down her back, and indigo flames roared up her four legs. Her pale blue eyes shone in the sun.
*All you need is love, love, love…8 The doe sang at the large black buck. The black buck nuzzled the doe gently.
Up above the sky, the space faerie was watching with eyes of wonder. Queen Fyora was standing beside her.
*There is nothing more magical then two creatures in love.* Fyora stated.
The Space Faerie replied, *They're fated to have two young fawns together… I wonder…*
*What?*
*…Well, the galaxy is without a Neopet guardian after Lexas's death…*
*Are you thinking a fawn can from this perfect couple and protect the galaxy from mortal danger?*
*The youngest-born I see… I see it…*
*Remember, Lexas was a very strong Skeith…*

Chapter I
Leena glared into the hot sun. Three years had passed since the two Ixis, Prudence and Desmond fell in love. Now, they had a daughter, and another one coming on the way.
Xeleena was a sour-faced young fawn, with midnight fur like her father's, and her mother's pale blue eyes. She also have light blue flames at the ends of her legs, and a light blue version of her father's random green dots.
Hmmph. All her parents talked about was the new fawn. She lurked in the shadows and ate grass quietly while her parents ran around making preparations. Frustrated, the two year old fawn wandered into the woods alone. It's not like her parents cared.
Suddenly, there was a bright blue flash. A gorgeous winged creature stood before her… It was the Space Faerie, however, Xeleena had never seen a faerie or a human in her life. The faerie's red eyes looked worried.
*Are you Xeleena?*
Xeleena was taken aback. This… creature knew her name. She nodded slowly.
*Hello, dear one. I'm looking for your parents.*
Xeleena still couldn't speak. She bounded away in the direction of her parents. The faerie quickly followed her. The faerie suddenly stopped. She heard load screams.
*Stay here, little one. She is in labor.*
Xeleena's ears perked up. Her little Ixi sibling was coming! She took refuge in a bush, trying to ignore her mother's screaming. It was awhile before the screeches subsided. The faerie appeared before Leena.
*Your little sister is born.*

What am I?... *I am what is called the Galactic Guardian. It's a little weird, yes? But someone's gotta do it. What I do is inform the people down in Neopia of any outside-world danger. I've also done reports on regular Sloth activity... However he seems to be quiet for now. The mark on my flank resembles the moon, and is also a special way of teleporting back to earth quickly. I can also fly really fast, as you've noticed.*

You climb onto the big Ixi's wide back. You're sleepy after this interesting adventure. Mia is off in a flash. It doesn't take long until you reach the snowy flatlands of Happy Valley. The Ixi drops you off and flashes a kind smile.

Aangie-Aangie has been my friend for a long time. She is young, but pretty smart. She has lots of friends, and cares for a lot of us Neopets in her large, mansion-like Neohome. Although I don't stay there a lot, I bond with her on special days. =) I'm glad to have her taking care of me.
Darmein- Darmein is my Lupe friend. He lives in Aangie's house with me and the other pets, but prefers sleeping outside. He is very wise, and cares about the forest and it's trees. I don't know a lot about him, but I'm hoping we'll bond more.
Sluenuh- Sluenuh is my Kougra housemate. She's very shy and quiet, and always tracks blood all over the floor. Aangie is careful to keep her safe when she's having bloodlust, because she can hurt anyone around her. I do feel for her, because she is horribly cursed... I hope maybe someday her life will be back to normal...
Leena- Leena is my blood sister and I love her to death. I will do anything to protect her, even though she really doesn't need it. As young fawns, we were very close. When it came for us to separate, we both became completley different Ixis. She chose the path of a dark and difficult job, while my job is more lighter and heroic. Even though we can snap at each other a lot, we'll still do anything to protect each other.
