Neheh Kha
(Eternal Spirit)

The story up until now
http://www.-blocked-/council_khemetic/Wepi_Story.htm

The moon hangs full in the desert sky as you come across a pair of strangers sitting by a lone fire. They are lupine in shape, but are covered with the concealing garb of the desert nomads.

Hey hekenmess, hello friend." the voice of the male lupe has a handsome ring to it, laiden with a desert accent. "Es-hetep, please, sit, quench your thirst, and share stories with us for awhile." He motions his head towards the hieroglyhed cermaic water jug that is filled to the brim with fresh clean water... a treasure this far into the desert.

The female lupe speaks with a tone laiden with shyness, but wisdom. "We have a story to tell you, if you wish to hear. It happened not far from here, on a night much like tonight." She lifts her midnight blue paw as from beneath petals from a star of paradise flower blow away on the warm desert wind.

The Dream Visitor

Once there was a lupe, a desert warrior on four legs, who was named Wepauwet after the Khemetic god of war. His life had been filled with tragedy, and his paws were stained black from his travels into the Duat (underworld).
It was at the worst part of his life when his dreams began of a mystical nubian lupess who went by the name of Taimoset.

This beauty visited his dreams often, and soon the warrior found himself pining for the gentle nubian who he had never met. She spoke to him of her life, of how she was enslaved by a cruel master. The warrior vowed to find and free her, no matter the cost.

It was then that he began his journey of many months to find and free the lupess he loved.

Sadly, his quest ended not with joy, but with heartbreak and pain.

The lupess would not be freed for any price, so he traded his freedom for hers.

They had but one hour alone to say the words that were left unspoken. Vows were whispered under the full moon that night, vows to become life-partners, even if fate kept them apart.

The only joy brought to the lupess were the twin blessings that soon after came into her life.

Once Taimoset knew that her pups were safely fostered under the care of Wepauwet's friend Siena, she risked all and returned to save him.

Through the efforts of Netcheref she was nearly successful... nearly.

After being caught they were buried alive by thier master, together in death if not in life.

The two lupes grow silent for a moment as thier tale ends with tragic deaths. It is the male who breaks thier moment of reverence.

That is not the end of this story though hekenmess-I. Although thier bodies passed on, the soul is eternal."

Judgement & Propositions

In the Duat the two lupes faced the 42 judges of Ma'at, and had thier hearts weighed against the 'feather of Ma'at'.
They were both given thier reward of being allowed to enter Yaaru, the sacred fields, the Egytpain Heaven.

Yet before they walked the passageway to Yaaru, Isis herself intervened with a proposition.

They could now enter Yaaru, and have the eternal rest they both deserved, or they could become divine servents, proxies, and fullfill a quest for the Gods.. and thus win back life in the mortal realm.

Age of Mythology

Isis smiled a motherly smile as the lupes accepted her offer.

She then plucked a pristine feather from the wings that trailed beneath her arms, and passed it to Taimoset to carry. It was the token of Isis that her new servents were to keep with them as a symbol of thier station.

The token also contained a fraction of Isis's power, the power to return the dead to life. Yet her proxies could not use this power, it was to be brought to specific Gods of other realms on thier sacred quest.

Thier quest?... A pack was to be formed, with each new member chosen by thier panthenon... returned to life to fulfill a great quest. Yet the mission of this quest Isis seemed to be purposefully vauge about.

When they had completed the bidding of Isis they would breathe once again.

The Eternal Wolves

Valhalla
Iron Can't Bite

Thier first destination was across the Bifrost (Rainbow Bridge) into Valhalla. There they were to return the nordic warrior lupe known as Iron Can't Bite. It was here they discovered that thier quests would not be simple, for Odin would not return the warrior without the consent of Fenris, the wolf God who had escaped into the frozen forest of Ysgaard.

Thier quest was long and difficult with many challenges along the way. But they eventually found Fenris and passed his test.
The nordic warrior was given thier gift and breathed once more. He now awaits the return of his new alphas.

Ancestral Afterlife
Bukekayo

Bukekayo is a mirthful, African trickster, and a difficult one to return. She was an orisha, or amalozi/ancestor spirit. But her death was entwined with an evil man-eating lion who had become a fiendish orisha.
Our heros brought Isis's gift to Inkosi Yezulu, but yet they could not break the lupe's curse of eternal battle.
Downtrodden they returned to the Duat to beg Isis for the answer for there was none to be found in the Afterlife of the Zulu. She kissed each of thier ears and said not to worry, for our next pack member was the vital clue they needed.

~*~

Yaaru
Jahy

Isis is a kind and wonderous Goddess. She already had planned, as a reward, to return Wepauwet's birth brother Jahy to life. First he had to complete a mission and free Bukekayo from her struggle with the fiendish orisha.
Secretly he had slipped into her realm shortly after his brother.

For some reason known only to the Gods, they unable to end the battle for the African trickster, yet Jahy did with ease. When the black smoke of the fiendish lion orisha faded, they both breathed again.
The last that was heard of them is that they are travelling Africa looking for Bukekayo's lost tribe.

~*~

Nirvana
SimKhara

Next on thier journey was to deliver Isis's gift to a Dakinis named SimKhara who resided in Nirvana. The challenge was not difficult in body, but in mind as they encountered the nothingness of Nirvana, and felt thier own desires, even their love for each other, disolve in it's wake.
Thier love persevered as they were able focus and search for the lupe. Alas she was not even in Nirvana, but lay stuck in the lands of Pretans, creatures with huge stomachs but a mouth the size of a pinhole. They were tortured beings as they hungered but could not satisfy thier needs.
It took many challenges and battles of both a physical and mental nature, but the two persevered and rescued the next member of thier pack.
The wise Tibetain lupess awoke in her homeland of Tibet to find her people long gone, but awaits the return of her new alphas.

The Shamaness

While in the African Ancestral Afterlife the spirits and Gods watched the two lupes. It was now time for the nubian lupess to recieve a special reward, as the orisha informed her of a sister she had never known, a shamaness who could call upon the spirits of the dead.

After the freeing of SimKhara the nubian lupess called upon her mystical power of entering dreams, but found herself only able to enter the dream of one person... her long lost sister Kachina.
The shamaness was un-surprised as the spirits had spoken of her sister's spirit for sometime before this thier first meeting.

It is said that now Kachina aids these two lupes in thier quest, serving as a medium between the living and the dead.

During thier travels in the varying afterlives they would often return to the desert that was thier home.
Sometimes when the moon is full a few have witnessed them as they travel the land.
Some say that they saw them standing on a lonely hill top, vigilantly watching thier children.
A few lone travellers have tales of being besieged by desert brigands, or loosing thier way in the desert onto to be rescued by one or both strange lupes... who had vanished when they looked again, as if they had never been there.

Sometimes if you are fortunate you may even see then run and dance across the dunes, thier paws leaving no tracks behind them. Now together for eternity in the afterlife.

The moon began to fade as the night-sky lightened with the approaching of dawn. The two lupes looked towards the east as the female gently put her paw upon the male's.

Thank you for listening to our story." she said with her melodious voice.
But Ra's sun barge is about to leave the Duat, and we cannot tarry longer.

You look up at the glorious sunrise for but a moment as it paints the sky in hues of red, pink and gold. When you look back at the two lupes thier nomad garb is gone as only the glowing souls of Wepauwet and Taimoset are there as they fade away with the first rays of the morning light.

Remember us." Thier voices linger as they vanish... only thir dying campfire, and the discarded desert garb are left as reminants of your encounter.

Song and Lyrics

At the Beginning
by Richard Marx And Donna Lewis

We were strangers
Starting out on a journey
Never dreaming what we'd have to go through
Now here we are
And I'm suddenly standing
At the beginning with you

No one told me I was going to find you
Unexpected, what you did to my heart
When I lost hope
You were there to remind me
This is the start

Life is a road, and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever
Wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
At the end I want to be standing at the beginning
With you

We were strangers
On a crazy adventure
Never dreaming how are dreams could come true
Now here we stand
Unafraid of the future
At the beginning with you

And life is a road, and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever
Wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
At the end I want to be standing at the beginning
With you

I knew there was somebody somewhere
Like me alone in the dark
Now I know my dream will live on
I've been waiting so long
Nothing's going to tear us apart

And life is a road and I want to going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever
Wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I want to be standing at the beginning
With you

And life is a road, and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep going on
Starting out on a journey
Life is a road and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
In the end I want to be standing at the beginning
With you

Fan Poetry

Lost

Two loves
First lost
Found each other

Chains of hate
Driven apart
To be lost again

Bold and brave
Harsh and cruel
They are no longer
Lost

-FzzyLttlKtty

Taimoset,Taimoset,
I love thee,
And I've never been so happy,
just to lie at one's side,
In perfect peace

-Nightingale_Fire

Dust collecting, air retreats,
We've found our match,
So death we meet,
You and I, trapped like rats,
Freedom Freedom,
Escapes my grasp,
However tis true,
Our time draws near
I shall the make a note
For all to hear,
Put on stone,
Plain and clear
So I can send my message Dear,
And so as the rope of our life
being cut,
Feared o' feared,
Ever closer,
Breathe stops....And yet...
All is at rest....
Peace be with us tonight.

- (I need to get the neo-name of this person, as it was sent to me from another site.)

Bodies gone,
Souls still live on,
They loved eachother to death,
Yet it did not do them part,
They still live on,
In others hearts.

We still remember,
Its hard not to forget,
Their tale of sorrow,
The times they faced,
But now they are together for eternity.

(There were more, but became unlinkable. I had to remove them, sorry.)

Wannabes

These are people who have copied/plagerised my character Wepauwet and/or his stories. Being on this list is not something to be proud of.

(I just started this list so even with the multitudes of clones that I have found, many have slipped away into obscurity by now.)

  • Khebehut had a story that was a direct copy, an 'enslaved lupess in his dreams', searching for her 'until his paws bled'.
The owner duatessence also had a clone rp guild that had the plot on the look-up for WolvesEternal copied nearly word for word.
(The owner re-did the lupe's story, and disabled the guild.)

  • Yaziau has a design that (save for a different tail) looks nearly identical to Taimoset, with Wepauwet's black stained paws 'stained black from the underworld'.

    Credits

Thank you as always to the fans of Wepauwet & Taimoset, and for being so paitient in waiting for the next chapter of thier story.
(Come on, as if I would 'realy' just kill off my favorite character without further plans for rps and stories. *wink*)

I adore all of the fan art, fan poetry, adoptables, and support that were sent for Wepauwet. Sadly a few fan images and adoptables were lost in a computer crash recently, I'm very sorry if you don't see your gifts on here due to this accident.

Thank you Lai for doing these stories with me, I just love these two lupes. ^^ I hope you don't mind that I used your picture of _Kachina for now, until I can fill it in with my own image.
