Wallace 'Wally' Rudolph West.

Alias: Kid Flash.

Race: Wally was born a human but when he was struck by lightening and chemicals in his uncle's lab he became a speedster.

Age: Sixteen

Hair: A wild untameable mop, that reaches down to his chin and is fiery red in colour. A few bangs have been cut into the front; they frequently fall into his eyes and across his face.

Eyes: Large wide eyes that sometimes seem too big for his small face. They are a unique blend of emerald and toxic green. They can sometimes look unearthly if he is communicating with the Speed Force. In costume he has been known to wear blue eye contacts to hide his real eye colour because it is so unusual.

Skin: Creamy white.

Voice: Gentle and soft, with a Central City accent that at times appears forced. His real accent is that of Cleveland, Tennessee but for some reason he tries to hide it as much as possible. He has been known to speak his real accent at times of high emotional stress and is usually hard to understand when he is like that.

Symbol: The Lightening Bolt, the symbol of Kid Flash and the Flash. It pays tribute to his super speed which at times can exceed the speed of light.

Looks: When he is being Kid Flash, Wally can be seen wearing the iconic yellow and red costume of his alias. When out of costume, Wally tends to just hang around in jeans and t-shirts or jeans and a shirt. He isn't really bothered by fashion although he is one of those annoying people who can pull off almost any style effortlessly. He likes clothes that he can move in, in case of an emergency.

Height: Five feet and four inches.

Weight: 103 pounds.

Jewellery: A silver chain with a bracelet to match and a Celtic ring on the fourth finger of his right hand. Aspect that makes him stand out: His unique green eyes, people seem to be drawn to them.

• Physical; His eyes, boyish smile and people often comment that his legs are a work of art.

• Personality; His loyalty and happy go lucky nature. Nothing keeps Wally down for long and he is always trying to cheer his friends up when they are down because he can't stand to see them sad.

History: Wally refused to talk about any part of his life in Tennessee. Very few people know about what happened in his home life and he intends to keep it that way. The only people who know anything are Raven, Robin and TJ. At the age of seven he was shipped to an orphanage in Central City to be near his remaining family members, Barry and Iris Allen. At that time they couldn't afford to adopt him and so he remained in the orphanage for another two years. He was finally adopted by the Allen's and settled pretty quickly into his new family life. Wally's life changed forever though when he was just ten years old. While visiting his uncle in his laboratory he was struck by lightening and chemicals at the same time. The accident gave him the gift of super speed and his uncle Barry revealed himself to be Wally's childhood favourite hero, The Flash. Wally soon took up the mantle of Kid Flash, The Flash's young sidekick as a protector of the twin cities Central and Keystone.

Personality: Wally can sometimes be a very confusing person to be around. Due to the nature of his powers he tends to jump quickly through moods depending on the situation. He sometimes comes across as jittery and nervous but those who know him well will tell you it is only because of his powers that he finds keeping still almost impossible. However most of the time he is laid back and carefree, very fond of a good joke. He hates to see anyone down or upset and will often spend time trying to cheer that person up. When situations arise though he is very good at dealing with a crisis and will become more serious if the need be. He is very passionate about everything and has the tendency to be very blunt even to the point of seeming cruel. He has very strong beliefs and sticks to them no matter what anyone else thinks. His main weakness is his impatience, something that he is notorious for. Wally tends to act before he thinks and tends to rely on older or more thoughtful people to keep him in check. Once he has his mind set almost nothing will change his mind and he is willing to fight to the death for what he believes in and those he cares about.

Optimistic or Pessimistic?: Optimistic sometimes to the point where he loses a grip on reality.

Thing he hides most from the world: How insecure he really is. Wally never thinks he is good enough for anything or anyone but he hides this behind a mask of arrogance, silly jokes and constant motion. He doesn't want to bother people anymore then he already does and so he stops himself from talking about how he really feels. A few people can see through it though and they seem to like him anyway.

What would he like to change in his life?: He wouldn't. Wally likes being who he is and what he is and if people can't accept that then he doesn't think they are worth bothering about. He also realises that everything happens for a reason and the bad things have help to shape him into who he is now. He prefers to look to the future rather then dwell in the past.

Income: Wally works part time as a trainee mechanic. He is able to do so because he is home schooled by his uncle Barry and so doesn't have to worry about school. Wally also has the money that his mother left for him in her will but he can't bring himself to touch any of that money yet.

Relationship Skills: Wally has some deep rooted commitment and abandonment issues. He /used/ to be a 'love the one you are with' kind of guy but he is currently in a long term relationship with TJ. Wally is very passionate and spends a lot of time giving that person a lot of attention. He tends to spoil people a little with his affection and once Wally gives you his heart that's it as far as he is concerned. He is very loyal and faithful and he doesn't fall in love easily but once he does fall in love, he really means it.

Friends: Robin, TJ, Raven, Beast Boy, Terra, Garth, Donna, Roy, Lil, Ember, Flare, Saphy, Ryan, Argent, Jake, Crystal, Jacob and Zode. Wally is a very friendly sort of person and is quite happy to make friends with anyone who talks to him.

Significant Other: TJ Kavarizzo.

Thoughts On…;

• TJ Kavarizzo – Wally once said that he would never ever fall in love again after being left hurt and broken hearted by Linda Park. That was until a certain Spanish gypsy came into his life. Wally adores TJ from the bottom of his heart and has fallen head over heels in love with her. He will do or saying anything to keep her happy and is fiercely protective of his amor. She is one of the very few people in this world who knows everything about him and he is so comfortable around her that is like they were made to be together.

• Richard 'Dick' Grayson (Robin) – Dick was the first friend that Wally ever had and he has been his best friend ever since. He is incredibly loyal towards his best friend and he regards him as the brother that he never had. They do have their moments where they yell and generally annoy the hell out of each other but Wally thinks that Dick will always be his best friend no matter what happens.

• Raven Roth – Wally and Raven have a long complicated relationship that has only made them closer friends. He has so much respect for her and feels very close to her. They once dated a long time ago when they were just kids but that hasn't affected them too much. He'd do anything for Raven if she asked and gets very angry if anyone upsets her. If Robin is like his brother then Raven is most defiantly like a sister to him.

• Garfield 'Gar' Logan (Beast Boy) - Wally's brother in arms against the threat of the Monkey Pals. Wally loves hanging around with Gar because he knows exactly what to say to cheer him up when he is down and he is so much fun to be around. The two of them can often be found playing computer games, having huge cartoon marathons and arguing over which Power Ranger is the best looking. Wally knows he's found a good friend for life in Gar.

• Terra Markov – Wally thinks that Terra is quite simply an awesome friend. He loves hanging out with her whether it be watching movies, just talking or trying to cheer each other up when they are down. He knows that he can always count on her to be a really good friend even when she's making him do things that he doesn't want to do. She always knows what to say to make him feel better and he thinks her jokes are awesome. And no she's not the Hermit lady anymore but he does have the name on standby if she starts acting weird again… xD

• Ember -Wally thinks that Ember is pretty darn awesome and he gets on with her really well. They have very similar interests and agree on most things to an almost frightening degree. She is the other co leader of the anti water club that they both started in protest against the water that they hate so much. She always makes him laugh and he loves spending time with her.

Brothers or sisters: He has no blood siblings but he has always regarded Robin as his brother.

Additional family members: Barry Allen - His uncle who is also the Flash and Iris Allen - His aunt on his mother's side.

Relationship with family:

• Rudolph West: Wally hates Rudolph with a passion. He can never get back what his Father has taken from him and he tends to make him pay for his crimes. He tries not to become too obsessed with catching him but his anger and grief usually drive him to take risks he wouldn't normally take. He will do anything to bring this man down.

• Mary West: Wally adored his Mother and he still misses her like crazy. He was very close to her when she was alive and he is determined to do things that he believes would make her proud. Wally visits her grave twice a year; once on her birthday and the other on the anniversary of her death.

• Iris Allen: Wally is very close to his Aunt. She is related to him through his mother's side and she is a lot like Mary. Wally is fiercely protective of her and would move heaven and earth to keep her safe.

• Barry Allen: Wally has a complicated relationship with his uncle. On the one hand he loves him and cares very deeply about him. He is very proud to have such a brave hero as his uncle and mentor and tries desperately to please him. However they don't always see eye to eye and clash regularly especially over the way Wally handles cases. Deep down though Wally has a lot of respect and love for his uncle and will do anything to try and make him happy.

Enemies; Rudolph West, The Central City Rogues and Slade.

Origin: Cleveland, Tennessee.

Home: He lives in the tower most of the time unless Barry needs him to work on a case in Central and then he stays in his Uncle's home. He has also been known to stay at Wayne Manor in Gotham City whilst hanging out with his best friend Dick Grayson.

Birthday: The 17th March.

Birth Order: Wally is an only child.

Talents: Playing the drums and piano, fixing cars or pretty much anything really (just call him Mr. Fix It xD), dancing (of the nightclub variety) and surprisingly he's an amazing cook.

Powers: Wally is a speedster in plain simple terms. Capable of extreme velocities, Wally tends to stick around the speed of sound knowing that higher speeds may cause great destruction to the area around him. His speed is very much a part of his secondary power which is molecule manipulation. Wally has the ability to vibrate his molecules through solid objects without causing any damage, he can cause things to blow up by speeding up their molecules to the point where they explode and he can also lend his speed to objects and people.

Disadvantages of using his powers: Wally's powers come with a price. Due to the impressive speeds he maintains, his metabolism is hyper accelerated which means he has to consume almost five times the amount of food that normal people do. He needs to sleep more often the most people to let his body recharge and will often be found napping even in times of a crisis. The faster he goes the shorter the time span in which he can keep himself going. The most troubling aspect though, from Wally point of view, is that it takes a while for his mind to slow down after speeding. To keep up with his body his mind has to accelerate to keep up and the come down afterwards can be slow and agonising for him since patience isn't one of his strong point.

Pet Peeves: Rude people, Untidiness, People touching his cars, Two faced people, People saying anything bad about his friends, Laziness and other men hitting on his girlfriend.

Worst Fault: He is very blunt and tactless. Wally says what he thinks regardless of how it may hurt other people. He can also be incredibly stubborn and it is very difficult if not impossible to change his mind once it is made up.

Worst Habit; Wally has a problem sitting still due to the nature of his powers. He has the concentration of a ferret usually and fidgets almost constantly. He also has a very bad habit of putting his life in danger just so he doesn't have to put his friends in harms way.

Self-defence methods: Wally has been taught several disciplines of martial arts and is pretty darn good at them. He still has a long way to go though because when he spars with Dick without his powers he usually ends up on the floor within like five minutes.

Illnesses; Wally suffers from the condition OCD which is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Wally can, most of the time, keep it under control with the help of meds and meditation. However during high times of stress he can often be found doing repetitive actions to try and calm himself down.

Opinion on himself: Wally had days were he doesn't think too badly of himself and then he has other days that he seriously hates himself. His show off routine is mostly bravado to hide his insecurities and he often makes himself cringe inside at some of the things he says and does. The more time he spends with his friends though the more confident he seems to become and his belief in himself grows.

Fears: Wally is terrified of any kind of deep water whether that be rivers, lakes, swimming pools or the sea. He nearly drowned a child and the memory of that incident still haunts him to this day. He gets so scared that it often makes him freeze and go into a trance like state that few people can talk him out of.

Dislikes: Pop music, annoying villains, anchovies, Roy's hair rants, meat or any kind of meat product, people shouting, people being mad at him, Bruce's training regimes, rain, romantic cheesy films and when people interrupt his cartoon sessions with Beast Boy.

First Memory: 'Accidentally' falling down the stairs and breaking his arm when he was three.

Most Cherished Memory; Wally has a few memories that he cherishes but the two main ones are; being adopted by Barry & Iris and the first day that he ever met Dick Grayson.

Most Painful Memory; His mother's death.
