Hello, my name is Tsunkio and my life ended and began an autumn day in October. I had just begun my third year at Hogwarts and I found myself in the Forbidden Forest. It had not been my will to enter the dark woods, but I found myself, as a commonly picked on Ravenclaw, fleeing from Charlotte Mae. She enjoyed torturing my every move through school, using me as a practice dummy for her spells. It was at this time when my life left my body.
I don't remember any time before that fateful day, as I said, my life restarted. I died of unknown reasons, and all I know of myself before that day is from stories. I have no last name any longer; I left my original family, refusing to return to my previous life. My mind was filled with memories of happiness and love. But as I am told, they are not my own-the memories I possess belong to none other than Charlotte Mae.
One way or another, her happy memories were transferred to me and she was left with nothing but her worst recollections.
Beginning of the End
I opened my eyes and tried to sit up, but I was very weak. I looked around and say that I was lying on the shore of a beautiful, but eerie lake. It's surface was as smooth as glass. The air was stagnant; no breeze rustled the leaves of the many trees which surrounded me. I had no conception how I had come to this place or where I was.
I brisk wind began to swirl around me. I could distinguish a voice being carried by the swirling air.
Tsunkio I could make the voice out as that of a woman. This sit the beginning of your end. How you came here make no matter, you are a student of Hogwarts.
For some reason that name was familiar to my ears. I thought about it for a second and remembered that it was the school in which I was learning magic… I was a wizard. My train of thought, however, was interrupted by the wind's voice.
You have the chance to begin your life again, make the best of it. My gift to you is the memory of your intelligence. I will return to you all that you have learned since you have studied at Hogwarts. Now, return to your House and tell no one of what you have seen tonight. Use your knowledge for more then knowledge itself-use it for what you feel is right. Now go, and remember, your life is worth what you make it, so make it worth a life.
The wind died and I found myself standing once more on the grounds of Hogwarts. I followed my feet because they seemed to know where to go. The halls were empty and the portraits were sleeping soundly. I walked through the dark until I came to The Grey Lady. I opened my mouth and spoke the entry-word(which came not form my mind, but from my soul). The portrait swung forward and I entered the Ravenclaw dormitories.
I knew I would fight for what was right that day forward. I have no recollection of my life before, but I opted to make the memory of my life seal itself in the memories of all those at this school.
Shesado Wand
After returning to Hogwarts, and settling into my new life, I was informed that I needed a wand. I was personally accompanied by the headmaster to Diagon Alley's masterful Mr. Ollivander's Wand Shop.
Come in come dear child, and let's find you a wand.
I heard a voice from behind rows of bookshelves filled with small boxes. An old mad appeared and looked down upon me, frowning.
So you're the little bloak who lost his way in life? He paused, staring at me. That's a shame. Now, lets find a wand who fits you. If I remember correctly, this wand suited you well when you came in for your first wand.
He pulled out a long, narrow box and opened it, handing its contents to me. I looked at the wand, and then flicked it out of instinct. Nothing happened….
Well, isn't that peculiar. He said looking at me with interest. Your first wand rejected you. What did you say happened to this boy? He said to the headmaster.
No one knows. Said the headmaster calmly. He simply showed up at Hogwarts from an adventure in the Dark Forest
The two of them looked at me curiously, expecting me to tell them exactly what had happened, only I couldn't. All I could remember was that lake and the...
Voice... I whispered. All I can remember is waking up beside this foggy lake and hearing the mysterious feminine voice speaking to me.
They both raised their eyebrows simultaneously and then spoke as one. Lake Shesado.
The wand keeper looked down at me. That voice you heard, it was the voice of a mysterious enchantress who lives in the lake. None have seen her and survived... So I guess it's safe to assume you got lucky. He paused again, regaining his previous train of thought. Now, taking that into consideration, I think I have the perfect wand for you.
He walked back far into the rows of wand boxes and returned with a teal velvet covered one. He opened the box and handed me the wand which immediately began to glow.
Ahh yes, I was right once more. You see that wand is make of the ice of Lake Shesado. It never melts and contains the mysterious but great power of that lake and its inhabitant. So take good care of it, and don't forget... the wand chooses its master so you had better figure out why that particular wand chose you.
I didn't have to figure that out, I already knew. That lake was the place of my death and rebirth and so my soul left an imprint of itself on the lake... that is why this wand chose me.
Quidditch
I had settled into my place at Hogwarts as the new Tsunkio. For some reason unknown to me, I acquired friends quickly and it appeared that ever student wanted to know how I had changed overnight. Of course, I did not have the answer to that question.
It was just after the first Quidditch game of the season when the Ravenclaw's Keeper fell ill and left the team. I felt this was my opportunity to make my life known. I showed up at the emergency tryouts, hoping for the best. I had not known myself to fly before, but the motion seemed so natural. I had not to think about blocking the quaffle, that came naturally as well. I did not allow a single point to be scored against my three hoops and after I landed, the team's captain announced tryouts were over and that I would be the new Ravenclaw Keeper.
The sixth year captain approached me soon afterwards. He told me that he had not seen such talent in a third year. He also stated that I was destined for great things in the game of Quidditch.
My first match proved that statement. It was Ravenclaw versus Slytherin. The final score—Ravenclaw: 240, Slytherin: 0. I had not allowed a single Slytherin to score against my team and I frustrated them so that my team's Seeker was able to locate and capture the Golden Snitch.
My life seemed to be coming together like an easy puzzle. Students before told me that I was a shy and intelligent student who sought no friendships but rather spent my life with my eyes glues to pages of advanced spell books. I would never stand up for myself let alone others and so my knowledge of spells did me no good. I now had the knowledge of all those spells and the courage to use them. I was still by far the brightest student in my year, but instead of running from fights, I protected those who were bullied.
I had died once before, but I decided it was for the better.
