Who the heck is this 'Bonju' anyway? Simply put, he was a character on a plot called the Cyodrakes Gaze, which lasted for not very long, required no fighting and was basically a logic puzzle to keep the people wanting their Altador Plot prizes happy. This Aisha called Hoban  was pushed off the ship, and the whole thing was a 'whodunnit' game over who had pushed him off. Eventually, it was none other than the evil Bonju. Grr. Then, on Blumaroo day, the Avatar was released (the plot was still going) You can see the news page here. And, even after the plot was fully over, no one had figured out the Avatar! DISPELLING THE RUMOURS: 1) BONJU IS ORANGE!! Countless people have told me he's red, just look at this: You approach a rather surly looking orange Blumaroo. Judging by his clothing, you guess he's the cook on this ship. This is taken from the CC page. SO NO MORE SAYING HE'S RED!!! 2) SNARKIE DID NOT SAY 'IT WOULDN'T COST ANYTHING She said 'TNT would never expect anyone to have to PAY to complete a PLOT.' The Avatar is not a vital part of the plot, ergo, it'll cost as much as you'd like.  Straight from the programmer herself. Which means that she or TNT staff did NOT say 'it's right under your noses'. All right, as I look over the plot, I've noticed that certain things seem to be a tribute to the TV series Firefly and the movie Serenity (wiki them if you're confused). For example, on Firefly, the ship's navigator is named Hoban Wash (or Washburne), and a famous quote of his is, "I am a leaf on the wind.  *this is what the Hoban Avatar says* I'm sure that further investigation would reveal other similarities as well. So I'm wondering if, to find the Chef Bonju av, we need to do something Firely/Serenity-related. elvenscythe has more to elaborate on it. Taken from her Neomail (I'm lazy, so shoot me)... There is also a disgusting concoction called mudder's milk which seems to me a good place to start. It is "all the proteins, vitamins, and carbs of your Grandma's best turky dinner plus fifteen per cent 'of your beverage of choice'." Another thought with the milk drink is one of the characters uses a rather crude insult involving pandas in reference to the drink, so perhaps the pandaphant is needed. |

This information was provided by nusance99. The banner for the Cooking Pot has the faded words 'BorkBorkBork' in the background. This is taken from the famous Muppet show's Swedish Chef. (Wiki for more info). This could have some relation to the Avatar I'm going to openly say: MY BAD over this. I have put here that 'Borkborkbork' in swedish means 'awayawayaway'. Mirran has informed me that 'Bork' means NOTHING in Swedish. However, she has told me that 'BORT' means 'AWAY'. This is a typo by the Muppet show (And I thought they could do no wrong...) I am still under the impression that it was meant to mean 'AWAY'. BUT, this till means the clue is still not rock solid. felovely has also informed me that "bonju" is a pink plant. Taken from the 'pink plant' info, cleanlyer has tried mixing Pink Lilly, Pink Poppies, and Pink Cyclamen, to no avail. Also taken from both the name 'Bonju' and the banner, poptartcjn discarded a pink plant (since borkborkbork in thought to mean awayawayaway and bonju is a pink plant). Again taken from the fact 'Bonju' means pink plant, tennis_lavaqueen089 has suggested that we should take a PINK blumaroo to the cooking pot and mix something. Thinking that the banner said 'PorkPorkPork', eaglewarrio9 mixed B-B-Q pork, BBQ Porkwich and Pork Steak. I have taken all of the banners from Skenkuu, and I'm trying to work out the faded text behind them. (This is AFTER the plot finished). The text that it says when you hover over it is: Tip #1: Always eat the chefs meals, even if it tastes like cardboard. This was given out by the Advent Calendar in Y8. This has started the new theory that the Avatar might have something to do with carboard. robamaya, using the 'carboard' theory has tried mixing Soggy Old Box and Bluchard Root. |
zeke1993 has pointed out that on the CG sidebar: Bonju appears to have a green and pink stain on his clothes. This could be a possible clue. Koolfrog1992 tried Pink Neopets 7th Birthday Hard Candy + Strange Green Seeds, to no avail. |

EVERY.SINGLE.RECIPE of three or two combos have been tried unsuccessfully. Thanks to alienor7777 and bobpets for trying them all out. You two are AWESOME! (I would like to point out now, that aysz88 also helped me out with creating the origional list. Cheers!) There has also been some help from glendelle504. So, now for some suggestions from people who've Neomailed me regarding other recipes. |

OTHER ITEMS Either, A)Mix some other of the trillions of stuff that comes out of Neopets in the MCV. I highly doubt that ot'll be anything other than food, because of the fact that Bonju is a CHEF. He will most likely mix food stuffs. But if he did mix other stuff, then that will be even HARDER to calculate the odds. So just hope he doesn't. For my brain's sake! B) Hold some items (eg, Mad about orange and Dung Avvies). aaron32110x has tried having five different chef items in the inventory. HOW YOU CAN HELP: Mix some of the items not already listed. If we can eliminate them all, then that's half the struggle for this avatar done! |

PIZZA OR NACHOS? This theory's from coldey222. Pizza = Pizzaroo. Nachos = the random event in Dice-A-Roo saying Blumaroos LOVE Nachos, you didn't know that?  This could be mixing some Pizza/Nacho-ish foods or stuffing some down his neck. CYODRAKE MIXING Suggested by neoneo54321475 Mix three colours of Cyodrake (very VERY expensive)                xenithya has suggested that there might be a need for an AGED Cyodrake on a Blumaroo. This known, she had attached one to her Blumaroo x_bonju_x. magenta_gal has suggested haveing an Orange Blumaroo with a cyodrake and going to culinary concoctions and mixing three foods. HOW YOU CAN HELP: If you have three or two Cyodrakes that you don't mind testing with. (I don't know, maybe you have a thing for them or something) then that will be GREAT for this! |

ANCHOVY CASSOROLE Suggested by tinsui. This is taken from the origional CG comic, where Linae talks about the Chef's (terrible) anchovy cassorole. This was thought of ages ago, and the only items that seem that they would work are Anchovies and Turkey Casserole (I've tried this and it DOESN'T WORK) but, there can be other things related to Anchovy casserole that hasn't been thought of yet. morrigan_a_aensland has tried: Anchovy loaf + Turkey casserole = Nope Anchovy loaf + Turkey casserole + Headless Von Roo Plushie = NO. ANCHOVIES Try feeding an orange blumaroo something with anchovies in it. (suggested by morrigan_a_aensland) Anchovies the item are expensive, but there is something called anchovy loaf that isn't so bad. I may get my Orange Blumaroo tester to have one. Anchovy loaf fed to an Orange Blumaroo does NOT give you that Avatar. (Thanks monkabana for testing this!) gio_pets has also suggested feeding/mixing Blandfish since it looks like an anchovy. HOW YOU CAN HELP: Feed your Blumaroo! You know he'll/she'll love it! |

THE HAT!!! The famous, but expensive, Hobans Hat.  You taunt me... UPDATE: Someone wonderful lent a Hoban's hat to my Blumaroo tester, and when you attach one you do NOT get the avatar. However, for further tests, we need to be lent another one ^^. SECOND UPDATE: Another AWESOME person (namely one of the testers, mew_mew_matrimony) has lovingly trusted both me and a fellow tester to borrow the Hat. We've done so, and fought with the hat attached to an Yellow Aisha fighting an Orange Blumaroo, and the reverse. We both won and lost. GUMMY DICE The Four gummy dice that were released on the same day as the Avatar are called the Orange Blumaroo Gummy Die, the Grape Blumaroo Gummy Die, the Strawberry Blumaroo Gummy Die and the Pineapple Blumaroo Gummy Die.    
The Pineapple and the Grape Blumaroo Gummy Die have both been bought by me and sent over to our Orange Blumaroo tester. The Strawberry and Orange Blumaroo Gummy Dice have both been bought by bowsersboy932 who has ALSO tested all the combonations in the MCV. He entirely awesome and everyone should be entirely awesome to him. All four have been fed to an Orange Blumaroo, so any suggestions on what to do next?
