Half Oriental of the Stars

Bees that have honey in their mouths have stings in their tails.

Night rapidly falls all around you, sending the forest that you are walking through into shadows. Soon your eyes start playing tricks on you and every branch near you seems to be reaching towards you with twisted and gnarled hands. Your breath quickens, your footsteps along with it, and all that you could think about is getting out of this darkness. Then the forest breaks away before you to reveal a cliff overlooking the vast forest and fields below it. On this ledge stands a very large and dark figure with a snake like body and flowing dark blue hair. Noticing your presence, the oriental twitches his ears and turns to look at you, his golden eyes locking onto your own. Smiling with amusement at your reaction, the dragon twitches his vicious blade and turns completely around to face you. A silver necklace hangs against his stunningly white belly fur that stands out from the rest of his dark body and black markings could be seen along his jaw bones and on his shoulders. Smiling gently, the creature settles down before you and arches his graceful neck backwards so that he could see you fully. Welcome stranger, to my world.
~About Me~

I am Theaserpent, or if you so prefer, Thea. That seems to be what most people call me these days. I am a wanderer, a searcher of knowledge and truth. Yes, I know, to you that probably sounds pretty corny, but it is who I am, and I am proud of it. He raises his great head towards the star filled sky and lets out a small sigh. And yes I am only half oriental. I know that to most I look like a normal oriental, but I do indeed hold traits from both western and eastern dragons. My father was a western dragon, while my mother was eastern and from a clan of moon worshippers. He chuckles slightly. I spose that is what really started me with my obsession with the stars. And it is also how I recieved my name Theaserpent, or Moon Dragon. But because of my heritage, I have traits from both of my parents. I'm not nearly as long as most orientals, I don't have the magic of flight, and my body is thicker. I do however have the flexibility of an oriental, but I lack the wings that most western dragons have. So I am bound to the ground, except for on special occasions.

He lets out a small sigh and notices you looking at his blade which was still twitching behind him and the black markings. Lifting a paw, he runs a pearl colored claw across the markings on his shoulders. These, I was not born with these. They were magically tattoed on a long time ago. They are the symbols of a warrior among my people, and they have always stayed with me, reminding me of my mistakes in the past. My blade however, I was born with, and it has always served me well. Then reaching for his necklace, he brings it into his paws and looks down at it gently. This...this is all that I have left of my mother, and I have cherished it always. I know that it seems foolish that I would hold onto something so long. But I believe that as long as I have this with me, she will always be able to look down at me from the stars. He gestures briefly towards the sparkling bodies above them and smiles tenderly. It is a symbol from our clan, and has been passed down through the generations for thousands of years. I believe that I may be the last of that long line.

He places the necklace gently back against his furry chest, still gazing at the glowing stars above them and the full moon lighting up half of the sky with its pale rays. I have always been fascinated with the night sky. Maybe it is because of my heritage, or my mother. He shrugs gently and looks back down at you. But of course that isn't really important, all I know is that they have always been up there watching us, beckoning for us to listen to their stories and the secrets they have to tell. I guess you could say that I am searching for what they have to tell me and I know that my ancestors are among them, watching me every step of the way. I know how foolish all of this must sound to you, but everyone needs something to believe in, do they not? Whether it is a god, science, or that this is only a dream. Whatever it is, it becomes a part of who you are. I know that there are lots of people who would argue that it isn't healthy at all for you to base your entire life on one belief. Maybe they are right, but I don't care, this is who I am, and I am proud of it.

I also enjoy studying ancient languages, they just have so much to say about the past and who we once were. I have learned a great deal about our past, but there is always more to discover, more to learn, and that is what keeps me going.

Size: 9 feet on all fours, 24 feet from head to tail.
Markings: A dark blue dragon with no wings and even darker blue fur running down my back and half way up my tail. Silver horns, wolf like ears, golden eyes, and a yellowish/white belly that ends between my legs and half way up my neck. Silver bands on my back legs and two on my tail near the blade and a silver necklace held on by a black string which symbolizes my past. A vicious tail blade with black markings, and black markings on my cheeks and shouders.

~Water(I can tolorate it yes, but I have a hidden fear of drowning and feel it every single time I go swimming with my friends, most of whom are water based.)

My Story:

Yes, I do indeed have a story. You don't live for 600 hundred years without having -something- happen afterall. Now a lot of things have happened in my life of course, but I will just give you a summary of things, you don't need to know every detail after all. So enjoy!

The stars have always been there, watching over us from the heavens and showing us the way. But they are not always appreciated and more than often are passed by as just balls of fire and gas sitting up there with no purpose what so ever. I used to be one of those who dismissed the stars, who didn't appreciate their beauty or purpose. I would always laugh at the stories about the stars having spirits and about our ancestors who now live among them in death. They were just stories to me; nonsense. But things change...

~My Family~

Rana:
Rana (thewhitedragon181/ diamond2dragon) considers herself to be my "human". Why, I don't know. She seems to be a dragon/fox/wolf mix who dyed some of her fur purple. She is a very strange creature indeed, constantly trying to control us and she seems to think that she is our "owner" or "caretaker". Very annoying indeed! I am a free person...er dragon thank you, I don't need anyone to watch over me. I can take care of myself just fine. Well Rana will be Rana I spose.

Flames_of_Truth:
Truth is my half sister, though she doesn't look like it at all. We had the same father, but different mothers and we are about 300 years a-blocked-ister. Despite our appearances, we have many things in common. She is quite stubborn and loyal, much like me, and she loves the night sky as well. She also seems to have a soft spot for children and lately she seems to have become more motherly towards everyone. Maybe it is just me. Well she is my little sister and I always to my best to watch over her, even though she doesn't like it.

Gallatea_Wind:
Little Gallatea. I don't know her too well, but it seems that she is quite attached to Truth and seems to have a passion for helping people. She is a young soul, playful and innocent. I would really like to get to know her better, she seems to be a very sweet young girl. She is training to be a healer from what I hear, and she is getting to be pretty good at it. I hope that I can meet her properly some day. Maybe I can even teach her a few healing tricks of my own.

Drakkinavol:
Ah yes, Kina. This little critter is another young draik that Truth took in and is taking care of. I don't know much about little Kina at all, though I have seen her a lot. I can't understand at all how Truth is able to keep her eye on the tiny arctic fox draik. She is barely 9 inches tall at the moment, and seems to have the knack for blending in to her surroundings. Especially in the winter time. Her fur is snow white during the winter, while in the summer it is marbled with white, brown, and grey. She is a very cute little critter, very curious as well.

Crotalus:
Crotalus. Now this is one little guy that I have a serious dislike for. He is an oriental faerie rattle snake draik with a very nasty bite and sting. He loves torturing people and playing tricks, and he has no concern for others feelings at all. He is a very nasty little creature, one whom I would not enjoy running into at all.

Huyanna:
Huyan is a very strange skeith, in my opinion. I don't know much about her, but I don't like her one bit either. She is a dark sorcoress, specializes in raising spirits and chaos. She tells me that she was once a princess, but was banished for using dark magic. He snorts briefly. And I believe it.

~Friends~

My dear friends. I would do anything for any one of them. I know that I don't have many, but these gals are all that I could ever wish for. They are all beautiful, lovely, and sweet and loyal in their own ways. Who could ask for more? Though I wouldn't mind meeting some other fine dragons either.

Sehaera:
Era and I have been very good friends for a little while, and I have had the honor to get to know this young beauty pretty well. She is a half oriental like me, except she is half faerie, and she is a traveler like me. I hope that she finds what she is looking for, I will be with her every step of the way, helping her along. She is very dear to me, and I know that I would do anything for her. I hope that she knows that.

___Canth___:
Canth is another lovely oriental that I have had the pleasure of getting to know. She is a water dragon, and everything about her seems to flow gracefully like her element. She however is in some trouble. She was framed for a murder that she did not commit and is now constantly traveling from place to place, trying to stay away from a human huntress who is constantly tracking her steps. I can only hope that I am able to help her set things right.

Suraspike:
Spike and I met in a very strange situation. She was being attacked by wolves, and indeed they almost brought her to her death. I managed to step in just in time and save her, but she was already terribly damaged. I tended to her wounds and soon we got to talking. Soon we started to get to know each other better and have become friends. I know that she looks down on herself because of her appearance. But I think that she is beautiful, inside and out. I hope that I am able to get to know her better in the future!

~Love~

Yes, I do indeed have one whom I care deeply for and whom I would do anything for. We liked each other at first sight, but only now has my feelings grown for her. Milanthea is very sweet and loving oriental, a water element, and a carefree soul. She is a traveler of the stars, and she takes over dying bodies on each new world she visits. She learns their culture and language and meets creatures with eerily similer personalities as all of the other planets she has explored. And as that body dies, she returns to her traveling form which resembles a colorful orb with her white markings in the center.

But recently I have learned that she is leaving me, and not by her own will. She invited me on a seemingly innocent picnic, saying that she had something that she needed to tell me. When I arrived, I could tell that she was feeling very unsettled about something. Indeed she didn't seem like herself. Finally she let me know that the body she had taken over, a dying uni, was using up its last strength and it would soon die, sending her off to another world.

I was heartbroken and unsure as to what to think. My love, whom I just discovered my feelings for was leaving me...forever. Indeed that night she disappeared while I was still sound asleep and I awoke in the middle of night to find that she had left my side.

I was unable to believe it at first, she couldn't be gone, not yet! But there was no sign of her, and hurt I was about to give up when I spied something. It was a note reading 'I'm back'. And as I touched it, a lock of Mili's hair and one of her scales fell into my hands and the note changed, now reading 'I have her.'

What was I to do? Someone had my dear Mili, and anger filled me. Then the captor appeared, a shadowy creature who looked like some kind of cross between a dragon and a demon with skin that seemed to be made from smoke. He told me that Mili was going to die soon for real instead of moving into her traveling form, as soon as the body she took over dies.

I didn't know what to do! I had to rescue her, even if it meant that she would end up leaving me right after I did so. I need to save her from this fate. I quickly agreed to the demon's terms and soon found myself trapped in a maze, running into traps around every turn. But I had to save my love, I couldn't give up, not now! I still don't know what the creature wants, all I know was that he wants revenge, from what I don't know, but I know that I will conquer these challenges and save my dear Mili!

~Lunar and Elenna~

Watching as a small pheonix like bird with the same colorations as its owner lands on his shoulder, a small dragon like creature appearing shortly afterwards, apparently out of breath, Thea smiles with amusement and gestures towards his two small friends. Looks like they have been chasing each other again, Elenna always seems to win. He chuckles gently. These are my friends, my little traveling companions who are always with me. They have helped me so many times in the past, I don't know what I was do with out them.

Lunar

Lunar the gallion has been with me as long as I can remember. His name means 'moon' and he has been my loyal companion for many years. I found him along the side of the road when I was in one of my more depressive years and adopted him as a friend and traveling companion. He has been with me ever since.

Elenna

Elenna is a Sky Weaver, given to me as an egg by Ebony_Vespers and her name means 'star' in elvish. I knew from the moment I saw her and caressed her black and silver plumes that she would be a good companion and friend just like Lunar has been. She is still very young, but I'm already very attached to her and I know that I will take very good care of her as long as I am able.

~A Look at The Stars~

So, are you interested in learning a little about stars and their stories? Maybe it would help you to understand my world a little better. He chuckles and moves gently to the side so that you could step out onto the cliff edge. Gesturing upwards towards the star filled sky with a furry blue paw, he smiles gently and looks back down at you. Up there are so many stories of our world, passed down through the generations. Most of those groups of stars up there have been given names, and today our known as constellations. Here let me show you a few of my favorites.

Ursa Major, also known as the Big Dipper or the Great Bear.

Ursa Minor, also known as the Little Dipper, or the Little Bear. The North Star is located at the tip of its handle.

Draco, the Dragon of the sky. It is also called a sea serpent at times.

Perseus, a hero from greek mythology. He slayed the sea monster and rescued the princess Andromeda. He is also known for his slaying of the Gorgon Medusa.

I'm sure that most of you have heard of Pegasus, the Winged horse. The constellation Andromeda is on pegasus, it is a the scene of her escape after Perseus rescued her.

Leo the Lion.

Orion the great hunter.

Nuh uh! None of my pets ever battle! Especially not with things like slorg flakes and chia power running around. o.o Plus Thea hates fighting.

NO! I have a serious dislike with seeing my art which I spent hours and hours on being used for things against my will. Accept for the links and adoptables. But you have to make sure that you don't change the code nor image at all! Or I will hunt you down!

Certainly! But There adoptables that I currently have for Thea's page are customs only. So if you want one you would have to trade. But you are free to adopt any of my other adoptables! Just don't change the image or code in any way!
