*It was that kind of day when you met someone who stuck in your memory a loooong time afterward. Of course, one would typically picture this type of person as a movie star or a beautiful girl/handsome guy. Or a leech. They've been known to stick places for a LONG time.

Wait, don't run. I was kidding. The character you met today was not a famous or beautiful person. Rather, it was a gelert. An Island Gelert. And while she wasn't a poster girl or famous in any way, she managed to stay there in your head for a long time afterward.*

Not because I have an ego. Because, of course, if you happen to run into any other gelerts who remind you a lot of me, you can identify them as posers. :D

Well, here are some basic things you should know about me before anything happens. Because, really, you just should. ^^

First thing's first, I hate the tombola man. He is soo hard to deal with! One day he actually made fun of me having a boyfriend! How rude is THAT?!!! Well, I got a dart board with him on it for my birthday, from Warbeak, so I guess I'll have to use that to vent my anger for now. But...wouldn't it be fun to throw the darts at the ACTUAL GUY?!! *squeals*

Hmmm...I wonder if that should have been censored. *blushes*

Forget that part. My favorite thing to do around Neopia is meet new people and have great adventures with a lot of fun included. I hope that when I die, I'm surrounded by all my friends. And when I die, I hope to have a LOT of friends! True friends, not fans. There IS a difference.

Most of my time is spent towards meeting gelerts from all around, adventuring with friends, working at my part-time job (which I will NOT tell you about, it's rather...embarrassing), and *exasperated sigh* babysitting my little sister Nanako. Somehow I'm the one who always ends up with Asylum Duty.

One of the amazing highlights of my life was being able to share a little bit about myself in the Pet Spotlight, on page 496. I was honored to get up there on the stage! I think I made a bit of a fool of myself, but at least I spread the word to stop the littering. The main beach on Mystery Island has a litter problem. ^^;

Anyway, we got a ton of congratulations and even some fan mail. You wouldn't believe all the battledome challenges... O_O It was a really fun experience, just to see all the neomails sitting there in our mailbox ALL addressed to me. :D Of course, I try not to let that go to my head... I'm still the same old Subay. :3

Because of my success in the Pet Spotlight, Sapphi erm.. FORCED me to enter the Beauty Contest, multiple times. Alas, there are just some things I'll never win. =)

The neohome? Oh, right over there. *Subayshi points to a bamboo house with two floors, out on the shallow water of Harbour Lane.* Yep, that's where we live, play, and try to survive Akane's blasting heavy metal and Nanako's plans to turn the presidential elections into fashion shows. We've got all the rooms built, but the place looks a little bare...we'd love furniture/garden stuff donations! What we really need is sofas, rugs, and desert pottery, but anything is welcomed and loved. And don't feel like you have to donate, either. If you want to, that's great, but I'm not begging =)

*Subayshi smiles at you for a second, and then calls,"Zerephaah!!!" in the loudest voice you could possibly imagine. A moment later a strange exotic petpet hovers toward you. She skitters over behind her gelert owner and hides.*

Gah! How do you expect to make friends with people if you hide all the time, Zerephaah?

*scowl* Deepest apologies, guest XD Zerephaah is being a pile of dung! *giggles* I guess I should explain something about her first off. Her name was originally going to be Zephyr, but I wanted something more unique to set her apart, so I messed around with the name, and here she is. :3

She was my first, and currently only petpet that I've ever had. I didn't find her.... she found me. I was only a puppy that day, and I was swimming too far out into the ocean when the storm hit. Zerephaah found me struggling and made me put her body into her mouth as she swallowed air, so that I could breathe. She stayed like that until the lifeguard got there, and hey, what do you do when someone saves your life? The poor little thing didn't even have a home, so here she is. ^^

May I add that she loves my sandy blonde-green hair and thoroughly enjoys making me look spiffy. =3 One day, she'll enter the Petpet Spotlight, and I sure hope she makes it. I think she'd look so cute up there on the stage.

She's erm...mentally unstable. o.- Nevertheless, she is a very good nurse to Nanako and a wonderful cook, although I become a little tired of all the rice and fish. xD Now that she's married, she's sort of left us....which means that the next oldest, me, is now responsible. MEEP.

Warbeak added the numbers after his name to make him sound like a weapon. How strange.... This guy can't seem to be peaceful for one moment. You see him playing with Akane, and he's (seemingly) being decent, and then the next minute he's chasing her around the house with a playstation control o.0; Hehe, he's my partner in crime, 'cos we're like, both 16.

Akane, or supposedly 'the little goddess', is more than a handful for anyone who's trying to keep her under control. She's witty, clever, and mouthy, plus , she's got that whole 'I'm bad' thing going on...eep...:3 We don't get along so well. She's quite the rebel.

Nanako is a unique little faerie acara. Due to a naughty game of spiff-up-yourself, she is now the world's first golden siamese x3 She's quite a character, too. Just don't give her ANY coffee, or you'll see a little too much character ^_^;

Charlotte is a very shy acara who just popped out of nowhere. O_o; She claims that Sapphi let her live here as a maid, but Sapphi says she's never heard of a maid acara before and certainly hasn't seen Charlotte as I've described her. Furthermore, there's something in those silent silver eyes that I find very unsettling. *shivers*

Me!! There are so many things I could tell you about myself...but where to begin? Oh, perhaps you'd like to see a traditional native island folk dance? *slips on a green grass skirt, hips snapping wildly so that the grass poofs out* Haha, that's probably enough for you at the present!! ^^

Last but not least...there's Sapphi. I suppose she's alright...a bit lacking in musical taste, though. Too much depressing, industrial-style stuff. Gah... industrial always makes me want to take a long shower. She's awfully quiet... they say she didn't use to be this quiet at all. Kyushu says she was once quite loud. She still is, at times. It's fun to feed Sapphi candy. She gets wild.

Sapphi, in case you hadn't already guessed, enjoys drawing, HTML, and all that other creative stuff. She also loves to run. Of course, she can't be good at everything, and so her bad point is probably the fact that she gets sad way too easily and isn't good at being friendly. She tries her best, but she's just not socially adept. Heh... xD

That, guest, is the family we all know and love :D Well.... I wouldn't say anybody loves Sapphi, but -- OOOOWWW -- okay, okay, love that cat child. WHATEVER. --;

A long time ago, Aura was my boyfriend. I adored him. Looking back, I guess we really weren't meant to be. I mean, I'm a loud, happy-go-lucky extrovert. I'm a gal who loves to adventure and meet new people. But Aura, well... he was really shy, quiet, reserved... he liked books more than anything and was kinda serious. Don't get me wrong, it was a great friendship... but I think I'm better off not in that kind of relationship with him. The Island Gelert winked at you, dug away at the pile, and soon was left with a huge box. Opening the box revealed a mass of differently-colored gelert plushies.*

Me and Sapphi've worked on these a LONG time! :D I hope they're not too big. I thought big ones would be nicer, since you can hug them and use them as pillows. Plus they're fun to playfight with. ;3 Feel free to adopt one. Or two. Or as many as you want.

I hope you had as much fun reading Subayshi's petpage as I did making it. It was an immense project. It's fun, but very difficult, to create a layout unlike anybody else's and then add colored-pencil drawings to real-life photos. I hope you take into consideration that this was the work of a 14-year old girl who really should have been focusing on real life things. Please appreciate my efforts. =)

That said, I had better not catch any of you out there with any of my concepts or artwork. I'm just really hoping EVERYONE leaves my stuff alone.
