Welcome to Knotworks Pet Adoptions and Trades Guild
So, you found us did you? Well, come on in and let us tell you about ourselves.
UPDATED November 20th, 2008.
Requirements For Guild Membership;
Our Guild is dedicated to the search and rehoming of Neopia's stuck and abandoned pets. We are a close knit group of mostly adult players and we would love to have you join. Our group is limited to 13 yr old and older players, not because we wish to exclude anyone, but simply due to the nature of our rehoming process. Neopians interested in joining should send a neomail to Theatician or Sceneographer requesting an invite. We do require that members participate within the guild activities either through fostering, labbing, searching or just chatting on the board on occasion, we need active members.
Requirements for Fosterhomes;
Fosterhomes are required to host a fostered pet until a new home can be voted on. Fosterhomes are required to rehome pets to chosen new homes using safe transfer unless pound transfer is approved by council. Junior Foster – Members who have been with the guild for more than one month will advance to Junior Foster rank and be eligible to foster an available painted pet. Junior Fosters are also eligible to adopt from the available pets and participate in the Lab Map Drive. Junior Fosters are expected to submit input on all adoption applications. After 6 months of active participation, Junior Fosters are eligible to be promoted to Senior Foster rank. Rank will be voted on by Council AND Senior Fosters. A 55% vote is required.
Senior Fosters – Members who have been with the guild for more than 6 months may be advanced to Senior Foster Rank. To be promoted, Junior Fosters must be active within the guild and must have 75% attendance in the adoption applications process. Senior Fosters are also eligible to be elected to Council when openings are available.
Sage Rank – Sages are founding members of Knotworks or are members on current hiatus due to real life obligations. Sage rank is honorary and requires no activity but is eligible to participate in all Senior Foster rank events.
Council – Council members are elected by Junior and Senior Foster ranks. Only Senior Fosters are eligible for positions at this time. Council is responsible for arbitration and maitanence of all guild holdings, finances and listings.
Adoptions and Trades;
Knotworks Guild is dedicated to the happiness of all Neopians. As such, we have made it our sole purpose to provide limited edition and specialty painted pets to anyone. We DO NOT require petpage applications for our adoptions. Our Pet Trades are conducted to provide additional pets to fulfill the pet wishlist. Anyone can request to be added to the wishlist. A maximum of 3 pets can be wished for by any one individual. Wishlist requests should be provided to popcorn_katy.
