Mindsend leans against him, one of her hover screens floating behind her head, blank and waiting for orders, "Well, Fuzhe... You were selected to be the Spokes Pet fro Deviant Deviants, my home guild... So its only natural you get Visitors...

He blinks, "Oh.." Standing up and entering the room, he grins, "Well Hi, I'm Fuzhe. Shadow is something of a joke, since I am but a "shadow" of a life that could have been, seeing as I was never actually born. A spirit with a body that never did quite make it into existance. And you are...?

You hold your hand out, "I'm guest ...

He looks at your hand, his eyes a little sad, "Excuse me." He floats over and through a door, then after a few clicks the door opened, and he walked out, tugging the furred cloth that made the skin over the robot he inhabited. He then took your hand and shook it, grinning, "One must always start somewhere.. Anyway, you're not really hear to see me, now are you?" He laughs, "I'll let you go an explore.. I'll just keep an eye on you to make sure no violent spirits get in to harrass you.

Deviant Deviants, Guardians of Creativity, is a guild not about Art or the BC, but about advancing Creativity and promoting understanding among artists and writers.

It is also a place of learning, in order help others advance and help yourself grow in the process. Roleplaying is welcome.

Rules

• You must treat others with respect -- Harrassment will only get you temporarily blocked from the guild.

• When you post on the boards, try to say at least three sentences worth of words. Spamming includes just saying things like ":)", "LOL", "Anyone there?" and "Hello!

  The reason for this is that Deviant Deviants is a VERY active guild, and we want to make sure that people are not interupted with short, pointless posts. Wait till you have something more to say before posting. Creativity works best if you use it all the time. Be creative with your posts if you can!

• If someone needs help, try your best to help them. This does not mean if they ask for NP, you give it to them, or does it mean vote for the first person who posts their BC entry. We want you to THINK about what you are voting for.

  When someone needs help with ideas or artistic problems, give them pointers, things you notice could use a little more work, suggestions. BUT do not do this unless they ask for it.

Now that the rules are completed, we can get to the fun stuff.

Creating our Mascot

This is not a contest with a prize, this is simply a group study on designing characters in order to create a mascot we can all enjoy. Our old mascot, an actual Kougress with the nickname of Nirvana, was designed by Mindsend, then everyone gave up trying to design her, wanting to stick with the one provided by the Guild leader.

Now, she wants everyone else to think of a New character, Not related to the old one in anyway. There are only a few guidelines for the Mascot's Design

• You may enter as many designs as you wish.
• Do not steal ideas. XD Thats a given
• The Design will be transferable through species -- to show the flexability of creativity, from Writing, Roleplaying, and art, the Mascot will be a shapeshifter. this does not mean you must draw them as a shapeshifter, however.
• Try to keep them from looking extreamly close to an offical design. If they could be mistaken for a, lets say, an Island Lutari designed by the Neopets Staff, they need to be givin more of a difference then a different color of flower.
• The Mascot will NOT be an actual neopet, so do not enter your pet as the mascot.
• You may use makeables to do the design, but you must give the makeables artist credit if you do so.
• Gender doesn't matter. Make them whatever you feel like
• Have FUN!

Tutorials

Tutorials By both Members and Non-members alike.

Creating Creativity: Its a very small Tutorial at the moment, seeing that I haven't had much time to work on it after the origonal was eatten by the Coding Gremlin (or a Mad Mynci). More should be added Soon.

MS Paint Pixeled Fur: Its a small section of her page, yes, but its a nice example of how to shade in MS paint. It has an example of a simplized form for editing makeables (such at the ones on her page).

Kitxoone's Base Codes: Not so much a Tutorial as it is a place to get Coding templates, for things such as Customized Shopkeepers and petpages. Its a simple Jumping pad for people learning how to code, but can't piece together an HTML tutorial enough since they cannot see it in action.

Pixel Adoptable Tutorial: Also, unfortunately, off site, but on DeviantArt, the place that gave Deviant Deviants our name (since DeviantDeviants was ORIGONALLY a place for friend from Deviantart to hang out at together.). Hopefully I will be able to talk her into moving it onsite_______________________________.

How to Win a Spotlight: One of the things Rose is known most for is her uncanny ability to win Spotlights such as Site Spotlight, Pet Spotlight, and petpet spotlight. Hopefully, these tips will prove useful to many in the future.

In-depth RP Guide: A VERY useful tutorial! As in EXTREMELY useful. Even if you've been roleplaying for years, please give it a look. I prefer Story-style Roleplaying, personally.

How to make a makeable: Actually, this is more of a "How to Edit a makeable" tutorial, once again hosted on DeviantArt. Her Tutorial on making adopts is actually closer to making your own makeables, but this one is good for learning to make a basic makeable edit.
