It's a beautiful day.

You're walking through the green meadow, admiring the magnificent cerulean sky above. IN the distance, you can see a dark, vast forest, but for the moment, you are frolicking through sunshine and long, swaying green grass.

But the peace is disrupted rather suddenly. A dark shadow descends above you. You jump as you feel something huge brush just past your head. You duck and trip, falling in a heap to the soft ground. The earth vibrates as your enigmatic assailant touches ground lightly in front of you. You lift your head, conjuring images in your mind of terrifying monsters - and are completely and utterly surprised.

A uni stallion is standing before you. His neck is arched and his head is held high, his light blue mane swirling around it. His long forelock falls elegantly before two deep sapphire eyes, which are jovial and bright. "Whoa. You okay there? I didn't mean to scare you like that..." he explains, lowering his head so that you can pull yourself up by his horn. You get a better look at him then; he's deep blue in color, with light blue mane and tail, and flight feathers at the end of his blue wings. His horn, eyes, and hooves are dark blue. He has a curious light blue eagle symbol on his shoulder.

Now, where were we? Oh, right. My name's Sephyyr. But you can call me Seph." he nods his head. "And you're...guest? Okay, cool." His wings rest at his sides. Sephyyr shifts his weight, obviously in good spirits. He notices you staring at his eagle emblem. "Lemme guess. You want to know what the heck this is, right? It's a symbol of the training grounds where my brothers and I were brought up. See, we fight with hooves, not weapons...and we're really effective, too. My little brother Aeryth can whip mine and Alcyone's butts, though." he laughs, not at all sounding dejected by his shortcoming. "We're all three the commanders now. I'm the Eagle, Cy's the Raven, and Aeryth used to have the legendary Falconspeed, but that's a whole nother story." he shakes his head, trying to keep himself from going off on a tangent.

So, nice place we got here, huh?" he asks, changing the subject. "How about a tour? I'll show you how we get around here." He trots up to your side and, before you can even comprehend what is happening, hooks his horn into your clothes and swings you up on his back. Tossing his head, he suddenly accelerates into a gallop. Before you can protest, he lifts off into the air and soars to the bright sky.

The two of you sail gracefully away from the meadow, over a dark forest below. It looks really old, and somewhat foreboding. "That's Alcyone's favorite place to be...the Forest. He likes to go there to think. Cy's a little like that, y'know? He only rejoined us recently, he had run away...always impulsive, headstrong and dramatic..." Seph shakes his head so suddenly that you almost loose your balance. "Whoops, sorry." he apologizes, sailing onward toward a mountain.

Hey, the view from here's awesome. Come on, and I'll tell you about my friends. You weren't expecting to leave anytime soon, were you?" he jests, with a good-natured smile. You shake your head. He touches down on the mountain's summit, and you slide off. "Right, then." Seph says, as you take a seat on a rock, "I should tell you about my friends and family. They wouldn't like to hear that I've met someone and haven't mentioned them, egotists that they are..."
