Saltrice's page is far from being done, but I thought it would be better to at least do the content of it for now.

Hmm, well I'm changing a lot of things. Adjusted the size of the scroll box, changed hex codes. Changed scrollbars so they're not ugly looking. Made this update box, so it looks spiffy. Added Illustrations of Saltrice section. Added the under construction image. Organized scrollboxes. Proper headers now.

You stumble upon an usul snoring, sleeping standing up against a large old oak tree. He stirs as you step back, bewildered.

Zzz...Snxxhua wha-what?! Who are you? Can't you see that I'm sleeping? *yawns slowly* I don't blame ya though, I am pretty interesting. I am a professional adventurer after all! Here have a sticker.

Saltrice hands you a shimmering sticker with his face on it,undoubtedly photoshopped to perfection.

Well, since you're here, I guess I wouldn't mind showing you around. I'll do anything for my fans.

I'll bet you want to hear all about my adventures. All the girls I've met, places I've gone...But...Is it so wrong to want a little more these days?

You don't think I'm arrogant do you? ...Wait, don't answer that. Saltirce laughs briefly and turns around, walking toward the tall oak door that is carved into the large oak tree.

Well, this is my home, I don't spend too long here, usually. When I want to relax, I just rest here.

Suddenly, a child-aged cybunny burst in through the door and clings onto Saltrice legs. Saltrice twitches with surprise and looks down.

Salllll...! She's after me again...! I swear! He closes his eyes tightly and clings to Saltrice' clothing.

Now there Phaiver, this is beginning to get ridiculous. How many times have you burst into my home today? Didn't we defeat this imaginary beast together?

Y-yes...but...but...she isn't imaginary!

Phaiver, Phaiver, you must learn not to let your imagination get the best of you. Now you run along now, okay? Saltrice pets the young cybunny's head and pushes him gently toward the door.

But, but...Phaiver sighs and turns around and looks pathetically at Saltrice, outside the doorway.

Have a nice day now, Phaiver. Cheer up. Saltrice smiles and closes the door on Phaiver as he continued to plead Saltrice with his eyes.

That kid, I feel sorry for him. He's kind of crazy don't you think? He's a sweet little guy, but he's too old for that stuff, y'know?

You see Phaiver running toward the small window beside the door and a feepit chasing behind with a sharp object. He makes motions of distress and seems to be screaming, but the window makes him soundless. Saltrice looks at Phaiver and closes the blind, not noticing the feepit behind.

He just doesn't know when to quit. Sigh, let's just move on, shall we?

Hmm...I'm in the mood for some gum...Now where did I put it...

Saltrice digs through his jacket pocket, pulling it out abruptly, causing his ID to fall on the ground. You pick it up and examine it.

Oh, you found my ID card. *blush* I don't know If I like that picture...I was tired that day. Please don't tell anyone you saw that. He snatches it from you and puts it into his wallet hastily.

A-anyway, what do you want to do? Hmm. Maybe you are curious about all the women I've met? I'm rather dashing you know.

You look at him silently, not really interested.

There's Lydia, this cute skunk usul...Then there was this spicy Xweetok named Bianca at Mystery Island. There was also this hot faerie aisha named Candy, she was too needy though. As you can see, I never stick with a girl for a long time though, because I'm the wanderer...

He sings "The Wanderer" and laughs. He then continues talking, but you look behind him and focus on a pin board on the wall. You walk toward it, and at closer examination find it to be a collection of pictures of a female blue zafara. She has red glasses and a mole. Most seem to be shots of her in her house or out on the street. You are a bit creeped out and Saltrice notices are not listening.

Gah! Get away from there!

He hurries over and spreads his arms out to cover it, looking at you nervously.

Please...Don't think I'm weird or anything...I'm not a stalker, okay? She's just um, um, part of an investigation that I'm doing for a company...Uh, Lets move on...

Flustered, Saltrice goes into his kitchen and takes a drink. He gulps it up and comes back out, leading you upstairs, into his "memory room", so he calls it.

These neopians aren't my family. I was "adopted" by tsunami_tide. Someone she knew didn't want to play anymore, so I was of no use sitting there on the shelf. Whatever, I'm nobody's pet, I'm my own usul.

This is Alix, some eyrie chick. I hear she's really old. She's pretty sweet lookin' for a granny, but don't let that deceive you. She hates me; And she is so uptight it's not even funny. So she really isn't my type. I try to keep away from her as much as possible, as not to ruffle her feathers. She does play some wicked harp though. Too bad she's out of my reach. Heh.

Phaiver's the little cybunny you saw earlier. I do like having him around sometimes, showing him what life is all about. Teaching him how to find food easily and such. He can be annoying after a while though, with all that feepit stuff he talks about. It gets irritating. Kids ain't no picnic. I'm glad I don't have any. *grins*

Last, but not least, is Tehtrah. She's a zafara. She's always got her nose in a book, a very smart gal. Usually nerds aren't so pretty, but she is. More than pretty, beautiful. I've never seen a more pretty thing. She's near impossible to approach though, her intellect is a bit intimidating, even for an usul such as myself. I just...

Want to see more creative "regular" pets like your own? We do too. Here in the Out of the Mold Pets ring, we show our love for the more neglected neopian species and colors. You don't have to be painted or a draik to be an awesome neopian. This ring was created to make it easier to find "harder to find" neopet characters. So if you're like me, and want to join us, here's how.

If you are not listed in the directory, you are NOT a member. Do NOT alter our emblem for your own usage. You will be reported if caught. This includes altering it to put your pet's name on it when they do not meet the criteria listed below. I REPEAT, DO NOT ALTER OUR EMBLEM FOR YOUR OWN RING OR USAGE. Make your own. Thank you. If you find someone doing this, please link me and I will report.

Emblem Explanation: The thing in the middle of the shield is an everlasting apple. This represents the ordinary-ness of your pet, as an apple is easily attainable. But since it's an everlasting apple, it's special and rare. Everlasting can also represent the constant flow of ordinary pets.

First, you must meet the criteria for being an Out of the Mold pet. We do not allow the following species in, nothing personal guys ;).

-Aishas, lupes, draiks, krawks, QUAD peophins, QUAD unis, QUAD eyries, QUAD zafaras, QUAD xweetoks, gelerts, wockies, and kougras. Any other pet is welcome, especially anthros. These species are not allowed because they already get enough attention, as their owners like to create art of them and petpages. This is not a ring to spite those neopets. It's to help owners with less popular pets find other pets like their own. So no hate mail please.

-A petpage that is about your pet, or at least a section devoted to your pet. It doesn't have to be finished.

Must have at least one piece of art of your pet, with its own unique design. It doesn't matter if its a makeable or fanart, as long as its not a neopets image.

-If you are accepted, you must put the badges up on their look up. No exceptions. Petpages and on your look up (the owner) are optional. The pet will be removed if we don't see it, until you do. Everyone has to do their part, you see.

FAQ

What is the purpose of this ring?

To make it easier to find pets that are harder to find adoptables, petpages, and art for. Also to get more hits for your petpages, or finding new pets that are similar to your own.

Does my pet have to be regular colored to join?

No. Any color is welcome, as long as it meets the criteria listed above.

I have more than one pet, can I enter them all?

Yes, you can list as many pets as you wish. You can also include them all in one application, just seperate each one by a comma, and list them in the same order for each question. Example:

Neopet's name: 1, 2, 3
Color: 1's color, 2's color, 3's color
Species: 1's species, 2's species, 3's species ETC.

What is a quad/anthro?

Quad: Quad is a pet that is drawn and displayed like a regular neopet, more like an animal that usually walks on 4 legs. Example:

Anthro: A pet drawn or displayed with characteristics of a human such as: Bipedal, wears clothes, hands, human facial -disallowed_word-anthro only)

Well, here is the art of me, done by tsunami_tide. She's really grown up with her art, don't you think? I'm glad I don't get drawn like that anymore. It really didn't do my handsome face justice. :( Read the description below each picture to get more info on it.

Really old picture of me and Tehtrah. This was done at least 5 years ago. Never again, never again...

This is my first appearance with goggles. I still am not liking how I was being displayed in these images. It's just bleh. The shading is horrid, as well as everything else. About 4 years old.

Another old piece that was never colored. It was just a sketch. It's 4-5 years old. I guess I don't look too bad there, but it's still meh to me.

This one is alright. It's about 3 years old. The shading is still not up to my standards, my ears were a little weird too. I dunno why she drew me so bad. The tail is spot on though. I better stop now before she reads my mind and hurts me.

Finally, a decent picture of me. Here in 2007. Too bad it's not colored or anything. Thanks a lot Rebs. ¬_¬ Where's my clothes? I don't feel right without my clothes.

This isn't of me, but it's my hat. I love this hat, and it's a new addition to my wardrobe. Rebs is still thinking of what I was going to wear, but I think she has a better idea of it now.
