About Species Grapeley

Grapeley is a species that greatly resembles western dragon. They have horns, reptilian features and flighty wings, yet, they lack hard scales and magical power. Grapeleys are covered in short, soft fur and equipped with feathery wings. Their most distinct characteristic is their fur color. All Grapeley have a very uniformly colored hair. Even though this species comes in variety of hues, such as black, gray, white, red..etc. The dominant color for Grapelay is dark brown.

What Grapeleys never have are markers and shades on their bodies. Their fur consist of purely one hue and never two or multiple. Such characteristic even persisted through centuries of evolution and mutation. Grapeley has the size of a modern day Great Dane. They are meadow dwellers who greatly appreciate large open spaces. They are generally carnivore, but occasionally they include wild berries and other fruits in their diets.

Grapeley are pack creatures. A whole clan tends to consist of 15-25 members lead by the eldest female. They are extremely territorial and often appear aggressive toward strangers and newcomers. As stated previously, Grapeley do not have magical power like dragons do and they cannot breath fire.
