|  †Above the sky was awash with stars, dazzeling pinpricks of light illuminating the earth upon which you stood. Below, endless seas of grass extending for as far as the eye could see, being blown about by the slight breeze that blew through the valley. It seemed deserted. Not even the mindless drone of miniscule insects rose above the noise of the gentle wind.† †However, noise was not what the creature you noticed shortly afterward was making. Stealth was the name of it as it wove through the endless stalks of grass; nothing but a dancing shadow in the night. Fear spread through you, as well as a sence of curiousity. Stepping closer, you observed the canine's wild movements as it flew over the landscape, chasing the wind. But then you realized it was possible for it to fly, for soon afterwards the lithe beast unfurled gigantic feathered wings, and, with a jump, took to the skies. And to your obvious relief, it disapered. Only for a while though, for behind you a voice spoke.† So... Thought I was gone, didn't you? †It came, sweet and sappy and heavy with the tone of satisfaction. You spun around to see a rather peculiar looking silver gelert laying in the grass behind you. He wore an -disallowed_word-seldom used) Level: 22
Begining
Unlike many other neopets, I was adopted when I was first born. Or just a little after that. Therefor, unlike others, I have no elaborate and complex past that involves death, betrayal, love, family, etcetera. Or at least, if I did, I have no recollection of any of that. All I remember is being at the Neopian Creat-A-Pet place all of a sudden. Now most people go and take the older pets with fancy histories and what-not, as with my owner, Sara. But this time, however, she desired a change. Heading towards the younger pets, she started browsing them to look for a gelert that she would find desireable. Now, at that time, I was a red gelert pup. I had put on the guise of an adorable little puppy, hopeing others will see only that and not my true nature and take me home. However, I guess I was laying it on a bit too thick, with big eyes, lolling tounge, wagging tail and all that. Sara saw right through that. Walking over to me, she picked me up and gazed right into my emerald orbs. "You honestly think I would fall for that?" she said, quirking an eyebrow at me. I nodded. "Well, think again! You're actually some rascal that causes mischief and has an attitude, right?" she said, grinning now. I nodded, and grinned wildly. "I knew it. You were just laying it on a little too thick there. Well, either way, don't need to act cute with me... C'mon, I'm taking you home," she said, and promptly walked away with me. Life With Sara At first, I didn't get much attention. I just sat on her Milikii account, alone while Sara focused most of her attention on her main account at that time, Kojica. However, after a while I was joined by another, a jetsam by the name of Chouseki. Then left us alone for a while. However, fortiunes shined down upon me, for Sara's intrest shifted from Kojica to Milikii, making this account her new main. Which made me and Chouseki of higher priority than those spoiled Kojica pets. I actaully met other gelerts, although none of our friendships lasted due to lack of contact. And so for a while it was just Chouseki and me. But then Milikii aquired three new pets at almost the same time, forcing Chouseki to be transfered to Sara's Alenkai account. They were Ricarnel, Yihane, and Wilia. At the same time Sara got Yihane I was also painted silver. Which rocked. Then Yihane was also transfered to Alenkai. And it was just Wil, Ric, and I. Which was fine. Until yet another pet appeared on Alenkai. That pet was the rainbow gelertess, Dandel, or Dannie. My sister. As soon as we were forced to come out and greet her, she tackled me, saying I was her older brother who she had never met. Which was wierd. But apparently she had proof we were related... So now I've got a sister. How wierd is that? And that's all. o_o More will be added later.
Feh. Love. Do you honestly think I would bother myself with such a petty notion? †You glared at him, and he glares back.+ No, I'm serious. Do you really think I'd lie to you about this? I've never been interested in anyone. ANYONE. And I don't intent to start now. Got that? Good. +You continue to eye him oddly, but he refuses to say anything more on the subject.+ To my suprise, turns out I actually had a biological family member. Here she is.
Well, this would actually be my adopted family, since none of us are really related. But I guess I ought to acknowladge their presence.
I don't have any friends, nor do I need him. †You give him another glare. He rolls his eyes.† Ok, so maybe a friend or two would be nice... But that's not likely to happen, now is it?
Anyways, her name is Meha. She's my petpet. I'm the only one of Sara's pets so far with a petpet. I suppose that makes me special, eh? Anyways, I guess she's ok. Doesn't bother me too much. Just mainly follows me around and peeps occasinully. And she sleeps on top of me, which is kinda annoying because she's not a sound sleeper. Ah well. That's petpets for you. Yesssss. I have fanart! You may not remove my name, enter them in any contest, edit them in any way, or remove the link. Do not take anyone else's custom. They're theirs, not yours to use. Oh, and as always, have fun with them. ^_^ If you wish to request a custom, please mail Milikii with location of a ref of your gelert, and the full name of the gelert you want a custom for. Strangely enough, a stranger gave my owner a mimbi as a random gift. My owner, lacking anything better to do with the creature, gave it to me. All I can say was that I was less than thrilled. But then again... A little minion to follow you around and do your bidding? Now I believe that that was worth the having to cope with something becoming my shadow.
