PURI'S PETPAGE

Hey guest! My name is Puritikohaku. I am a Koi. To the left of this paragraph is a picture my owner drew a while ago. I am level 6 and even though I am 13366 hours old I have already played 2 battles and won 2 of them. My battledome score is 49.
I love doing dailies, especially the Ol' Fishin' Vortex.

I think I look good with my shiny white, brown, black, and orange scales. I use the following grooming items everyday to make sure that my whole body stays clean.

If you want some tips neomail my owner, or want a grooming item, I usually have some in my shop, Puri's Paradise on Mystery Island. Even though I looked really good in my shiny scales I really wanted to be spotted! My owner, aishakadotietrainer, says that the spotted Koi looks like a "Koi" in the Earth world, which she happens to do a lot of school reports about. Apparently my name means Pretty Kohaku. A Kohaku is a type of "Koi" in the Earth world. I really want to be a spotted koi because the earth-Koi look beautiful and elegant. Thanks to goodgirl_notme I am now spotted!

I run a shop called Puri's Paradise in Mystery Island. I always am having a sale there and selling a large variety of food. While I run the shop my sister Hisine goes around doing games and earning neopoints for us to spend on restocking or other daily needs, such as Illusens quests. She even has an adventure! My sister Kai is the one who deals with random events, such as when we find a codestone on the floor, she puts that in our Safety Deposit Box, she takes the neopoints we earn and puts them in the bank, and earns avatars. Then, my owner has a free space for pets that we need for avatars, or some permanant pet in the future. This pet does the housework, trading, and cooking. We all gather at our neohome at about 9:00 PM NST and chat for a little while and then go to sleep. I wake up super early with my owner and we do dailies. We all go fishing and around 6:30 AM NST we go do our chores.

One of my friends gave me a photo of when they got painted and I keep it here to remind me of my goal.

PURI'S STORY

A maraquan Hissi and a Jetsam poked at me with a peice of driftwood. I dodged it quickly and swum away. They chased after me laughing.
Yo! Baby! Come back here! You fish(like Chicken only fish)! Blub! Blub! Blubble!
What do you want me with? I mean--" I said but blushed and turned around to see them swirling throught the water laughing.
I want you with my jaw!" they said and the Hissi zapped me.
Ow! Stop! Stop!" and they continued zapping me.
I swum faster, not looking where I was going. I began slowing down, tired, and the Jetsam started snapping at my tail and fins.
CHOMP! He missed. CHOMP! I shrieked in pain. CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP! I screamed and shreiked in horrific pain. The Hissi stopped the Jetsam, turned, and swam quickly away. The Jetsam followed. Red clouded the water. Was this my blood? Did I shreik? Where was I? Who was I? The red faded and soon turned dark black.

The next thing I remember is my beautiful, well kept fins and tail, shreaded. Apparently for the next few weeks I was bedridden, and could not swim well for a whole year. The scars healed over this time, and my owner, disgraced, threw me out. I was swimming along the coral at Eastcheab Beach when a worm swam past me. I let the current pull me forward after it. Starved to near death, I would eat anything. I was a ravenous monster. I bit the worm, and suddenly, I was out of the water, on a rock, in the hand of a curious Kougra, in the Underwater fishing cave.
OMGEEZLES! Kai! Hisine! Look what I caught!" said the Kougra.
An Aisha and a Hissi emerged from the distance. Afraid that they would hurt me I pushed torward the water and flapped my fins and tail quickly, but it was helpless against the imaginary line pulling on my jaw.
Hey! Hey! Hey! Calm down! Calm down! We won't hurt you." said the Aisha. "Melissa!" she yelled. A tall human appeared.
She pulled hook out of my mouth and set me in the water.
Whhaa di hou ou thaaaut?" I asked.
Why did you do that? Why, I did it because I am nice." she replied. The trio of pets smiled.
Uuuh. Whaa are yooooo naaamss?" I asked.
I'm Melissa." the human said. Then pointing to the Aisha she said "This is Kaikaikisha, but you can call her Kai." Pointing to the Kougra she said "This is Sunukarika, but everyone calls her Sunu."
And I'm Hisineminio, but you can call me Hisine!" said the Hissi.
Why don't you come home with us till your mouth heals?" said Melissa and she smiled cheerfully.
Ehhh... Suuuru" I replied.

The house was amazing when I saw it. She went to the Healing springs everyday for me and I ended up being able to breath overwater. Soon, my mouth healed and I became very well aquainted with Neopia and Faerieland. Then, she took me to the islands. Next she took me to Shenkuu and Altador. In Shenkuu I fell in love with the spotted Koi when she told me about how it looks like that on Earth. I also became fond of the battledome and doing quests.

But then one day, Hisine and Sunu got in a bad fight. Sunu's ears had two puncture holes from fangs in them, and Hisine had clawmarks up and down her body for weeks. They were both taken to the hospital immeadiately, but when we came to visit them, the hostpital was in chaos, Sunu had run away...

After the loss of Sunu, our house got in to terrible condition, as there was no one around all day to clean it. One day, while walking to Uni's Clothing a shoyru fell from the sky and hurtled in to a nearby tree! Started to death, Hisine, Kai, and I jumped in front of our owner, but then, the green shoyru dropped to the ground. All of our faces softened a little, trying to hope for the best, Hisine and I crept forward, while Kai and our owner stared in shock. The shoyru saw us and tried to get away, but as soon as it got up, it fell down again, Hisine felt her pulse, and tried to push him to Kai, who had just arrived to reality. Haha! Together we took her home. He just layed in bed for a while, and then we watched as he would get up, eat, and go back to sleep. Now, he hangs out with us, but doesn't leave Neopia, when we are in other regions, he stays home and cleans. Just like Sunu...

NOW

Now, Kai has taught me lots of things due to her expansive knowledge. Hisine has taught me how to be sneaky and in exchange I have taught her how to swim. Sunu taught me the basics of cooking, houskeeping, shopkeeping, gallerykeeping, and other basics. The new foster pets that stay at our house teach me many things too, a Pteri once taught me how they fly, and a Usul taught me the basics of Usuki collecting! Melissa taught me how to behave, and get along with obstacles that may come my way, such as people at Puri's Paradise telling me my fins and tail are shreaded. I ignore those comments and just move on to getting the customer what they want and have them pay for it. Some people just stare and others look at it for a second and when I look at them, they look away.
Now, though, I am learning to cope with all of this. My owner says I am so beautiful that I deserve to be in the beauty contest with these fins and tail. She says they look elegant and flow with the water. My beauty contest pictures will be located here, as soon as the contest is done. The most current one will be at the top of the page.
