Clouds surround your entire being, shrouding the entire area like a dense fog. The soft echo of rippling water is brought gently to your sensitive ears, as a soft breeze caresses your cheeks. Upon closer inspection, you take notice that you had been standing on top of a layer of gray water; how deep this supposed 'lake' stretched, you didn't know. All you knew, was that you were currently walking upon the surface of the water. This tranquil setting calms your every nerve, immediately causing your shoulders to relax in your new surroundings. However, in the very back of your mind, you can't help but wonder how you got to such a place.

".. How did you get here?"

A soft voice comes from behind you, beckoning you to turn and face the source. Just as expected, you obey the silent command, and turn to face the small call.

Your eyes widen at the sight that greets you; never in your life had you seen something like this. In your presence was a Cybunny, with the purest of white fur coats. Her ears and feet had been tipped with a sky blue coloring; the same hue as her azure blue eyes. The normal collar that you would have expected was nonexistent, being replaced by graceful, blue-tipped wings. She absently batted the extra limbs, feathers bristling on instinct at the small movement. Trailing behind her was a long, Wocky-like tail, also being tipped with the powdery blue colors. To be honest, she seemed to be much more Wocky-like, rather than a Cybunny.

"How did you get here?" She repeats impatiently, tired eyes staring straight up at your face. She sits on her large haunches, tail curling around her feet as if to hide them from sight, "And what is your name?"

You shrug your shoulders, signifying that you too had no idea how you had ended up in this tranquil area. Once she hardens her expression, you give her your name as well. You couldn't help but think in your mind; had she been sitting beside you, it was hardly any doubt that her head would reach your knee.

She scans your face quickly, searching for any trace of dishonesty. Apparently, she sees none, "Very well, guest." She replies, sitting on her haunches, "If you'd kindly take your leave now." A hollow smile graces her lips as she stands to walk slowly away.

You blink absently as she strides away, and step forward to protest against her sudden leave. With a sharp turn, she faces you once more, gazing at your face with her deep, cyan eyes. She then smiles wider yet, turning completely around to trot directly up to you, "You're wondering what I am.. I can see it in your eyes." She states solidly, fluttering her feathered wings. With a deep sigh, she leaps backward to land a good twenty feet away.

"Well then, I'll begin with not a story of myself, but rather a story of the ancient language.."

".. The language of the elements.."

Fire. Earth. Wind. Water.

These are the basic elements of ancient age; a language of old, which Neopets have forgotten to harness over the thousands of years that had passed since that era. When such elements are combined, they produce either 'sub-elements', or symbolic images that would mean much to the ancients of time.

Fire and wind create lightning.
Wind and water create ice.
Fire and earth create the symbol of chaos.
Earth and water create the symbol of a quiet peace.

All of these are mere examples of languages of old.

However, a mix of all of these elements create a neutral balance; one which leans toward neither the symbol of destruction, nor to the symbol of peace.

This impartial symbol in the ancient languages, was..
