Walking through the Neopia central Bazaar, you see the Chocolate Factory looming up ahead. Seeing very few people lurking nearby, you decide to enter. The shop is empty, but tension is building in the air. The restock will be coming soon, you can tell by the harried look on the Kiko shopkeeper's face. He checks his watch then rings a bell on the counter. The doors leading into the factory burst open and carts piled with candy stream into the room. The shelves are restocked and the neopet workers quickly race back through the door. The ground shakes with the thundering of the restockers galloping into the shop. People fight over candies, trample the smaller shoppers and practically attack the poor shopkeeper. There are a few screams of "I got the avatar!!!" and then within seconds the shop is empty again. You pull yourself to your feet and dust off the bits of chocolate off your clothing. The poor kiko looked a bit trampled and was busy trying to get his crushed top hat back to its orginal shape...

Then you notice it... the door leading into the factory... is open? Casting a shifty-eyed look about, you sneak towards the door... and through it.

Through the door, you find yourself in a grand hallway. Neopets rush by, oblivious to your prescence, loading carts with sweets for the next restock. You sneak further down the hall and down a side hallway.

Well... you certainly don't work here." you jumped and looked back. Standing behind you was a tall kougra dressed in purple and green. He raised an eyebrow at you. He didn't look mad at you for being back there... only curious.

So you want to roleplay with Merriick, eh? Great! Here's a quick summary of what to expect...

Merriick is sweet, smart, eccentric and energetic. He's happy to hold a conversation over tea or go running full tilt through the Chocolate Room. He doesn't consider many people friends, but will be friendly to just about anyone.

When meeting a dark or evil person, he's going to be on edge. He is an all-around good guy, so when he meets a bad guy, he tends to be a bit twitchy.

Merriick also isn't looking for anyone to date/marry/drool over/whatever. If you have a girl who wants to be just friends, by all means, neomail away! If she wants to be more than friends... I'm sorry. It's not going to work out.

When asking to roleplay with Merriick, be reasonable in your locations. He's pretty reclusive unless he's on assassination missions for Fyora. Since those missions are pretty rare, you most likely aren't going to find him outside of his Chocolate Factory in Neopia Central. He's not about to show up on Terror Mountain or in Qasala. If your pet lives in the Lost Desert or wherever and wants to meet Merriick, they're going to have to mosey on down to Neopia Central. But I'd rather you didn't make your pets OOC just to have them meet Merriick.

Merriick is a busy person. When you roleplay with Merriick, take note that he practically RUNS the factory. He has to run about and see to things. If your pet isn't into power walking, Merriick just isn't the person for them.

Just because YOU know all about Merriick, doesn't mean your pet(s) do.

Merriick doesn't have/want/need any siblings or family. The End.

If your grammar is mediocre, or you type in Ch@7/l337 speak, I will end the RP. If English isn't your first language, please inform me and I will do my best to be considerate... but sometimes 20 mistakes in one reply can make my brain implode.

PLANNING YOUR MOVES does seem to help. I hate roleplays where the plot is wishy-washy and all over the place. If I get bored or have trouble understanding where you are going, I will end the RP. I have better things to do than decipher a roleplay plot.

And for the sake of all things right, don't expect nor ask Merriick to be OOC to suit you or your pet's situations. It's not going to happen. Merriick is Merriick. He's not going to be a fireman just because your pet is trapped in a burning building. He's not going to be cruel or evil for dramatic effect either. So there.
