The bed is zen, the rug is zen, and wow! even the mirror is a zen pattern. It makes you wonder, What kind of psychopath lives here? You scan the room slowly, looking for the occupant, and it doesn't take you long to find her. She is a little purple aisha. Not a gorgeous one by any means, but she does have a cute face and she looks quite friendly. meliau's life Meliau: *snort* You want to know about my life? Well, sure! But the title is kind of misleading. It isn't, in fact, about my entire life. It just recounts my birth, but it is quite extensive anyway! Enjoy. ...Blink.. ..a flutter of movement as consciousness sets in. Siiiigh..wiggle...where am I? squirm.. What is this? .. why am I using a language I have never learned? What is the purpose of life? Why do IOH MY GOSH WHY AM I ON FIRE THE BURNING THE BURNINGGGGGGG-- ...Five Minutes Earlier... Jade yawned drowsily as she stumbled down the stairs into the kitchen. It was a Saturday, and of course Qadia had woken her just as her dream, a rather interesting one about trains, started to get really good. She mumbled random obscenities at the Pteri's chirping gleefully on the heart fruit tree. Jade was definitely not a morning person. Even so, her Aishas were hungry; being the lazy fools they were (Jade hadn't really considered the fact that Aishas have no opposable thumbs with which to cook), she had to make them breakfast herself. After thrashing about to find the eggs for a minute, Jade set about the task of boiling them to make..Gasp! hard-boiled eggs. One of the eggs was purple, but that didn't bother her at all. In fact, Jade quite enjoyed odd colored eggs, as long as they weren't full of Aishas. Which this one wasn't. No.. this egg definitely did not contain a purple aisha; especially not one named Meliau! Daiben, Krashark, and Qadia clustered eagerly around the dining room table, drooling wildly over the hard-boiled egg aroma currently wafting from the kitchen. They will giddy with delight at the thought of eating until they heard a shriek from the kitchen. Hoping nothing had happened to their food, they scrambles into the kitchen to find a very confused Jade staring numbly at the stove. With a closer look, they saw why Jade was confused. You see, she had been boiling eggs casually when all of the sudden one of the cute white eggs started shrieking at her. This would have been perfectly normal, except eggs don't shriek, making it horribly wrong instead. Luckily, the water hadn't gotten hot enough to kill off whatever lived in this egg. Jade could see that because it was screaming "THE BURNING!!!!!!!!" over and over again. Poor little Jade was torn! Should she open it? What if it was a rabid beast that was just in an egg costume? She voiced these worries to the Aishas, and they made fun of her. Dejected, she decided to open the egg. Carfully, lovingly, with the utmost care and holding back Krashark who wanted to eat the egg's contents, living or not, Jade peeled off the bits of shell. As the last piece came off the screaming stopped abruptly. It had to, for the little jaws were instead occupied by clamping suddenly to Jade's face. After 24 stitches and therapy, Jade fell in love with the little Aisha. She named her Meliau after the ancient Hebrew word meaning "terrible biting animal". likes and dislikes Meliau: I am a very picky Aisha. Think you can shove ANY old plate of food in front of me and watch me eat it? NO! I am a vegan. No meat for Meliau! Anyway, here you can see the things I love and the things I despise (in case you, uh, want to buy me presents or something!) likes Meliau: I love many different things, including: Petpets! I love my Krawk, James K. Polk! I also love Kadoaties and Angelpusses, but James is my favorite. He wants to be a REAL krawk someday, but that will only happen if neopets allows five neopets someday! Food! I only eat healthy foods, no dairy! I LOVE CABBAGE! I could eat cabbage all day!! *frolic* Cabbage cupcakes (soy), cabbage quiche, cabbage doughnut, cabbage, cabbage. Cabbage.
