You have heard of his amazing sword fighting skills, of his past love affairs, of the mutany he lead to obtain his current ship, and of his apparent good looks and singing ability.
The young man was already a legend.

But over the past few months, the stories have stopped. The amazing tales have ceased. Mr. Parr seems to have vanished. The exciting things you have heard about him have been replaced but others that are not nearly as thrilling...not nearly as entertaining...everyone seems to have forgotten about young Luther Parr. And when you ask about him, all that you get is, "Oh him? The last thing I have heard of Captain Parr is that he was stranded on an island somewhere. I suspect he's dead by now. How could he have survived? I mean, the lad's good...but no one's that good."
