It is always, always spooky in the Haunted Woods. It doesn't matter if it's twelve in the afternoon or midnight, for
the darkness always presses in around you, especially in the parts that nobody is supposed to go to.
Which, with your luck, is exactly where you have ended up.
Mud sucks at your feet as you trudge along the dark path, a flashlight gripped tightly in your quaking hand.
You are a brave individual, nobody doubts that, but this part of the woods would cause even the bravest Meridell knight
to shiver in his armor. You're not quite sure how exactly you ended up here, but you do know that you want out as soon as possib-

whoosh

You freeze in place as something whisks over your head, the wind caused by it ruffling your hair. Silence follows, but you stay
rooted in place, the tingling feeling along you spine letting you know that, whatever it was, it is standing right behind you.
You turn, breath catching as a pair of yellow, glowing eyes weave and bob across the path before you, a row of white teeth gleaming underneath them.
If it was light out, you would be able to see the almost gassy quality of the body that formed the creature. You raise your flashlight
to it, the light from it causing it to pause and stare at you. Or, at least, you think
it is- without pupils it is hard to tell exactly where it's looking. Just as suddenly as it's there, the eyes and smile vanish,
and a choking noise reaches your ears. And then it stops.
A shaky cough breaks the silence, and golden eyes appear once again, but they are holding warm honey iris's this time. You
raise your flashlight again, and the glowing beam catches the sheepish but friendly looking face of a Lupe. He flicks his ears towards you.

 I- I'm sorry if I startled you! We don't usually see non residents this far into the wood, and so I...assumed it was safe to let myself go...
