Welcome to Omneo's Guild Information Page! Omneo was created on the 12th Day of the Month of Swimming, Y8 (that's 7/12/2007 in standard Earth days)! We have been very fortunate to attract some old and new friends to our guild. Formerly, many of us were a part of the B-List, also created by Kay (formerly earthlingdreamz) and Zia (noob). Although the B-List eventually faded away, Zia and Kay would not give up on their dream of owning a friendly, drama-free guild. And thus, Omneo was born! We have a strict no-drama policy, and we WILL love you, whether you want us to or not!

Ongoing Activities

In addition to our special events and competitions, we do have a number of just-for-fun games and activities that members are more than welcome to participate in on a daily or weekly basis.

Guess the Omneon
Where: /~Mandraik
Who: Dante
What: A new Omneon will be chosen once a week, and clues will be posted Monday-Thursday to help you figure out which Omneon was chosen. One guess per person per Omneon.

Spur of the Moment...
Where: The guild message board
Who: Any sub/council member
What: Every now and then we will task whoever is chatting on the message board with finding the number of __ items or images on a world map or some odd bit of trivia for extra Omnepoints. Keep an eye out!

Requirements

In order to get an invitation to Omneo, you must first fit at least one block requirement and have a thorough understanding of the guild rules. We do NOT make exceptions, you MUST fit one block.

Important note - If for some reason you leave our guild and do NOT inform one of the council members, you will be ineligible to receive a re-invite to the guild.

As of July 2010, Omneo's requirements have been overhauled! We are looking for diversity, and hope this new system will help us accomplish this. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to mail anyone on council.

The Base Blocks have undergone a few changes, and are as follows:

Have 50 or more unique game trophies.

Gallery Block
A complete or nearly complete, well-themed, polished gallery ready to be
submitted to the Gallery Spotlight -OR- a gallery that has already won a
Spotlight trophy. This is NOT based as much on worth as it was previously.

Creativity Block
A} Art/Design: submit a portfolio of work (drawings, lookups, petpages, etc.) Trophies that may be taken into account: Userlookup Spotlight.
Beauty Contest trophies will NOT be taken into account.
B} Writing: a mixture of 15+ trophies that may include any combination of
Neopian Times, Storytelling, Poetry, and Pet/Petpet Spotlight. Please include either
links to your entries or compile your winning entries on a petpage to be reviewed.

Malling Block
Be an active part of an active mall with a size 500+ shop. Shop size alone is
NOT enough. Your shop must be stocked and an active participant in your mall.

Now, the BIG change is this: the addition of Booster Blocks! How do they work? If you come close to but do not quite meet any of the Base Blocks, you can still apply if you meet one or more of the Booster Blocks. They act as a supplement, but NOT as standalone blocks. (See below to check if you qualify for Booster Blocks.)

If you would like an invitation to the guild, please mail Mandy an application. Your application can be in either neomail or petpage form and should include a paragraph about yourself, some accomplishments you are especially proud of, some of your future goals, why you wish to join Omneo, why you feel you would be a good fit, et cetera. We encourage creativity! Make it personal, let us see YOU in your application. Your application would then require at least 5 approvals from the council/subcouncil members.

Applications will be reviewed ONLY by the council and subcouncil. Please take note that even if you send in an application, you are not guaranteed acceptance to Omneo.

Rules

1. NO DRAMA! This rule is first and most important as petty drama will not be tolerated! We do mean this, absolutely and without qualifications. Inside the guild, outside the guild, anywhere that might paint you or the guild in a negative light.

2. No spamming. Generally referring to 1-word posts, or an unreasonable amount of consecutive posts.

3. Please read and follow the Neopets T&C, especially when posting on the guild boards. Although it may be a bit more secluded than the public boards, the guild boards are still monitored and TNT will address the situation as they would if the post was posted anywhere else.

4. If, for some reason, you have a conflict with another member -- including council -- please try to resolve it privately. You do not need to contact Mandy or any other council. We expect all issues to be resolved maturely between those involved.

5. The Activity Requirement: You must be involved on the boards or in a guild game every week! This means posting at least once, preferably more, or actively participating in some fashion. We usually hold activity sweeps once every couple of weeks. The Activity Requirement exists because being a part of Omneo means being a part of a family, not just riding the wave. To be an Omneon, you have to be an Omneon.

6. If you are inactive for two weeks (without notifying one of the council members of your inactivity), you will receive a neomail warning. At the end of the following week, if your activity has not improved significantly, you will be sent a final warning. You will then have 3 days to improve or you will be booted.

7. Guild activities are always optional. If you do not want to participate in them, you do not have to. As with other issues, you can always approach a council member if you feel uncomfortable and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.

8. Regarding LOAs: Please neomail Juli if you will be on vacation/leave of absence (LOA) for longer than five days. LOAs are limited to 6 weeks MAXIMUM. You must provide an end date. You may not request an LOA until you are out of the bottom rank!!! If you are gone for longer than 6 weeks, we have the right to warn or remove you from the guild. Those who have been a member of our guild for 2+ years will be given more leniency. These members may have a period of inactivity for no more than 4 months before removal, and you are welcome to have a re-invite when you return to the site.

9. In the event that a member of Omneo is frozen:

If the person is iced fairly for breaking a Neorule, they will be immediately removed.
If they are iced unfairly their main account will stay in the guild for one month and an invitation to a side account will be sent. (This is also the policy for suspensions.)
If a member is frozen for ANY reason and does not inform anyone in the guild (preferably sub/council) within two weeks they will be removed, but will retain their right to their one re-invite.
If for some reason a member leaves and does NOT inform one of the council members, they will be ineligible to receive a re-invite to the guild.

10. According to our new points-based rank system (see below), if you are an active, non-LOA status, member, you can be ranked down. It is YOUR responsibility to discuss any discrepancies in your number of points with Mandy (suzerz).

11. It is the responsibility of the council members to give out "bonus" points and record these with Mandy (suzerz) on a weekly basis. Keep an eye out for fun little activities on the board that may lead to extra points!

Council

Mandy (suzerz): Hi, I'm Mandy, the guild's resident spammer. I am the current leader and still love this guild more than anything else on Neopets. I currently run the webpage and handle applications and acceptions/rejections and that's about it cause I'm a slacker. ;) (I'm lying, there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff too!!)

Erica (ecaligiu): Hiya, I am Erica. I am fairly well rounded on neo. I do a bit of WCs, RSing, Battling, and collecting avies when I can. I collect both fuzzle and jubjub items...they are just so cute and snuggle, except some of the evil ones. In Omneo I am very much the same I help with guild activities, and participate in almost every one. I frequently aid Omneons in whatever they may need as i am online WAY too much. Mostly Omneo is a family and I do what I can.

Juli (juli_sb): Hi ^^ I'm Juli. I spend most of my free time here so... the chances are that I'm on lol. I'm in charge of the roster, so if you haven't sent me your info you should do it now! Feel free to nm me if you need anything, I like random neomails from Omneons! When I'm not here I enjoy watching movies. I also enjoy talking to Mandy and Khannie cause they are really cool and make me laugh a lot. I also have to admit that I wish Sophie was my cat, she sounds so adorable (she IS adorable). Oh right, back to Omneo. I'm also in charge of our LOAs, so please make sure to contact me if you need to request one!

Vero (chikolina): Hi, I'm Vero! I'm a slacker and never wrote my own blog so Mandy decided to write one for me, how nice! My hobbies include slacking, being a Verosaur, making i ♥ Mandy smilies, talking to Mandy, being Mandy's friend, and trying to trade my gorgeous UC Faerie Draik for a dumb old UC Plushie Draik (which, by the way, Mandy will definitely borrow lots). I also have an adorable dog named Goyo, who I'm actually raising for Mandy because she thinks he's super QT. I will eventually host something for the guild, but currently I'm super busy drawing up comics for Mandy..if I stop drawing she cracks a whip and it hurts :(

Dante (umbrex): Hiyas;I'm Dante! While not lurking or planning top secret events nobody else really knows about, I can be found lurking boards or doing something actually ~productive~. PS: I like rag dolls.

Honorary mention~ Kay: Kay here! I'm an avid avatar collector who has downsized my account. I'm still around Omneo to chat and keep up with my beloved guildmates. This has been the best guild, the only home I've ever really loved on neo. Drop me a neomail if you ever want to chat!

Subcouncil

When we decided to grow Omneo's member count, the council also realized that we needed - and wanted! - more help from our members. Thus, we created the subcouncil positions. These members have full council privileges, meaning that they vote on all applications, rule updates, and anything else that the normal council does. We're very grateful for their help!

Garlic (blonde_and_lovin_it2): Garlic here! I'm a little bit crazy and I love to make people laugh. I'm a frequenter of the guild boards and closing in on Mandy's spammer status with furry *cackle* I love slorgies, garlic and customizing my pets. This old-time ACer tends to bite, so watch out! :K

Lindi (riotgirl_604469): I am an adult player who started playing when my daughter first found neopets. I still play, she doesn't.

Ranking System

Rank names change randomly at the will of council, mostly just for fun. Which rank you fall into will be decided on a percentage basis, and guild points will be incorporated.

• Omnescient : 60% of the average of the top 3 non-council guild members +

• Omnevorous : 30% of the top point-getter +

• Omnepresent : 500 points +

• Omnewbie : 0% of the top point-getter +

You will be able to rank up if you gain points on the leader, and you will be able to rank down as well.
