Kyoko Kougra: The Snow Kougress
*You find yourself inside a beautiful blue snowflake. Swinging on a swing is a cute little white kougress. She smiles at you and jumps out of the swing, flies and lands five feet from you. She smiles brightly and welcomes you.*
"Welcome to my snowflake, " she says. "It's beautiful isn't it?
*You nod slowly.*
Yes, it is. Would you like to hear my story?
*You nod again and sit down on another swing.*
*She sits in a swing across from you and begins.* "I'm Kyoko, the youngest of the Kanji Kougra clan. There are only four of us left, sadly. Our clan was destoyed long ago when a volcano erupted and engulfed our small isle near Mystery Island." *She pauses and her expression changess to one of sadness.* "I don't remember our isle, but I do have the visions that Michi showed us." *She smiles.* "They are mostly good visions, but a few are saddening. One is of where we see our parents, sending us adrift as cubs in the ocean as the lava approaches rapidly from behind them. I'm so sad they didn't make it. But they managed to save us, and somehow we managed to drift up to the shore of the faerie cloud." *She laughs.* "We have no idea how that came to pass.
Well, you know how we came to Neopia, or the Faerie Cloud at least. Our trip to Neopia and the care of our wonderful owner Tora is another journey.
*You swing lightly as she begins her tale.*
Found on the shore of the cloud by a gracious water faerie, we were brought into the castle to the Queen. She was very kind, and very beautiful. She housed us and cared for us until we were about 3 years old, in Kougra years of course. When we were old enough, she asked us each what kind of powers we would like to have. Michichose to see the past, as curious as she was. Yuki, my elder brother, chose to see the present as it happens in different areas. Kurai, my younger brother, chose the power of darkness, to disappear within the shadows and make other things disappear and reappear as well. Me, I chose to see the future. The Faerie Queen made our wishes reality, and we studied under the battle faerie to train and hone our powers. Now full-fledged Kougras, we can control our powers and use them at will.
*You nod approvingly and wait for her to continue.*
*She mews slightly.* "Now, we come to the part where we meet Tora. All of us were talkng a stroll through the palace garden and we saw a raven haired girl sitting by the goldfish pond. Curious, we went over to talk to her. She smiled as we approached and said hello.
*Your eyes go wide as you see a thin film appear before you. You watch in silent awe as the projection plays.*
Replay of: The Meeting
*The raven haired girl rises as she greets the four kougras.* "Hello there." *She smiles* "So you are the four kougras blessed by the Queen. I am pleased to meet you." *She bows slightly.*
*The blue kougra to the left speaks first.* "How do you know us?
*The girl laughs lightly.* "Why, everyone on the cloud knows about you. You're the most talked about thoughout the shops here and down on Neopia.
*The red kougra next to the blue one speaks.* "Neopia? What's that?
Neopia is the land where Neopets live and roam. You've never heard of it? I visit it every weekend to see my parents. Maybe with the Queen's permission I could take you along this coming friday.
*The smaller blue kougra speaks now.* "I'd like to see this place." *She turns to the older blue one.* "Could we ask Michi? Please?
*The first speaking blue kougra replies.* "I suppose. I'm quite interested myself. What do you say Yuki, Kurai?
*The red kougra who spoke second replies.* "Yea, sounds okay to me. As long as it's not dangerous." *He looks to the younger red kougra.* "Do you agree?
*The red one responds.* "It's fine with me Yuki. I'm not worried about danger.
*The girl starts to the garden exit.* "Then all we must do is consult the Queen. Will you follow now? By the way, I am Tora, the garden maiden" *She smiles and exits the garden toward the castle.*
*The four kougras follow her and the screen fades away.*
Welcome Back
*Kyoko mews again.*
*You turn your attention back to her so she may continue.*
*She smiles and continues her story.* "We got our permission from the Queen, and we were sent down to Neopia on her large cloud Cirrus-san. We explored Neopia in depth and found it extremely facinating and exciting. We didn't want to leave when it was time to go. When we returned home, we told the Queen all about our adventure and how much we liked it there. She listened intently, and then sent us to our rooms for bed.
The next morning, we found our few belongings packed in little bundles. We questioned the Queen. She told us that it was time we left and found our own lives. She loved us very much, but she was far to busy to maintain adequate lives for four kougras. Tora entered the room and smiled warmly at us, telling us that we were to go with her. We were overjoyed at the thought of living with this wonderful person in Neopia. It was sad to part with the Queen, but she promised us visits on our birthdays and on holidays. So, we went with Tora back to Neopia, and we got a home on Faerie Lane. We've never been happier, but we so look forward to visits from the Queen.
*She stretches once again.* "Well, that if my life story. How we came to Neopia and met Tora. Don't forget to read about my family below. Visit their domains as well." *She smiles and waves a paw.*
* You are back at your house, and you see a snowflake drift away.*
Michi is my older sister. She is a perfect role model for me. Beautiful, kind, and very pleasant. She is the only known mermaid kougress, and she has the power of the past. For a while she was under a terrible spell, brought on by a transmogrification potion, but she has since been freed. She's even seeing someone now, his name's Koda, and they're so cute together. =^-^=
Yuki is my elder brother. He can see the present as it happens, no matter where it's happening or where he is. He likes to think of himself as the king of the jungle, but isn't the king supposed to be a lion? not a leopard. That makes him upset. =^.~= A gorgeous leopard kougra, he is now married to Crimson_Faeire and has three cubs, though I'm not so sure about them anymore...
Kurai is my older brother right above me. He uses his power to make things appear and reappear, as well a himself. Although this is a dark art, he is in no way, shape, or form in contract with the Dark Faerie. Many people mistake that. =^.^= He also has a mate by the name of velvetpawz__, a lovey christmas kougra, and they have two cubs. He himself is a shadowed kougra. Please visit him. He's quite nice.

Um, well, I did have a Cirrus, but Tora sent it to Destiny so she could sell it to get Tiger's Baby Paint Brush... Spoiled brat... =X_x=
