Intro: The Royals of Neopia are hardly unnoticed. Their elegant dress and prestige set them apart from the other painted pets. The journey an individual takes to acquire a royal pet can be a cruel and long one. However, to some the journey is a short one. Nonetheless the end result is ever so rewarding. This directory holds a great collection of loved and spoiled Royal Pets. Congrats to all those who decided to take the journey! So if you have a Royal pet that you would like to have in this directory all you have to do is send Britt a quick neomail with the following information: 1.Your pets full name and nickname(If they have one): 2.Three words that describe your pet: 3.Role-Play(RP) status (closed or open):  The Story: I have always wanted a Royal male Acara. And this summer I decided that it was time to start saving. A close friend of mine, Kasey, had recently bought a Royal Paint Brush to paint her female Cybunny. Sadly, during a tragic cookie-grabbing scam, her account and mine where taken over by evil hackers. My account was rightfully returned to me. She was not as fortunate- the hacker took everything. But before these tragic events I was extremely jealous of her Royal Cybunny, and was determined to save up for my own Royal pet. Located on her Cybunnie's lookup was a little button: Royal Connection. I was fascinated by the site and what it had to offer. Sadly by the time I had earned enough for my own Royal pet the page had been closed. I respect and understand the user's choice to shut down Royal Connection. However, I was devastated that I would never be able to be apart of that specialized grouping. The opening of Charmed is in no means meant to hurt the feelings of others, or to replace Royal Connection. I simply created it in a dedication to one of the greatest pet directories of its time. Hopefully one day Charmed will be as purposeful as Royal Connection. I have tried to make this site as professional looking as possible, as to not disrespect Royal Connection.

When the Royal Paint Brush made its debut, Royal pets where not the only Royal accessory to come into Neopia with a bang!. Royal items, avatars, shop-keepers, and many more features surfaced, and became very popular. In this section you can become more familiar with these features, and who knows... you may even be inspired to change to a royal avatar, or start up a royal gallery! I know I'm tempted. Royal avatars are a fun accessory to your chat board experience, and are surprisingly easily attainable. Royal Items are a little more on the expensive side. To attain the exact name of the item hover your mouse over the image. I know if I had another Royal Paint Brush I wouldn't put it in a gallery for show, I would paint another pet! But I guess everyone is entitled to their own doings. Anyways, there are currently 25 Royal items in the Neo database. Thanks to neoitems.net for the complete list!

Being that Royal pets can not be zapped through the Lab Ray or painted by a Faerie Quest, this leaves only one way to acquire a Royal pet: The Royal Paint Brush. There are however a variety of way to buy a Royal Paint Brush:  The Hidden Tower: Although secretly located, the Hidden Tower sells Royal Paint Brushes. To find the Hidden Tower you must first visit Faerie City in Faerie Land. Once In Faerie City, locate the main castle (the large purple building in the center of the screen). Now for the hard part: locating the exact place to click in order to enter the Tower! First look to the very left side of the entire building, you wont actually click the building but rather you will click in the sky next to the far left tower, just above the big fluffy cloud. Whoa- let's hope that made some sense. Anyways, the Hidden Tower sells Royal Paint Brushes for approximately 1.75 million. And if this is your first time purchasing an item from the Hidden Tower you will also receive the rare Faerie Queen avatar.
Trades: Because you can not purchase unbuyables in shops, the next place to look is in the trades. This may be a very successful option in that sometimes users will offer discounts. WARNING: Do not be tricked into paying more then the Hidden Tower price. You would be surprised how many people actually ask for more then 1.75 million (Sillies!).Auctions: And let's not forget the auctions! Occasionally you will find a great deal here, however be ready to fight with a bunch of fast-restocking-crazies when the price is set low. |
