My name is Gwillewyn. I've been playing Neopets more or less since the very beginning. A dear friend of mine sent me my first pet, his name was Ewan the Usul. I still have him, although for some reason he's become a girl. I'm not rich or anything, not in real life and not on Neopets. I guess I would be slightly neo-rich if I sold all my items, but that's unthinkable.
I'm gallery-crazy; I can't keep myself from collecting cool items. I currently have two galleries; "The Babaa Gallery" and "Don't Touch the Hair" (a.k.a. The Kyrii and Hair Gallery) in honour of Kyriis everywhere. I used to also have a Gallery of Mathematics, but I've discontinued it since I got bored.

My favourite neopet is the Kyrii.
I can't quite explain what makes them so special, but I'll try. They're pretty without being vain. They're fun, without being silly. They're mischievous without being evil. They're overall good pets, they can be used for anything; battling, beauty contest, reading, gourmet club; anything!
I have a whole bunch of Kyriis, but these are my most prominent ones: Gwillewyn II, my main pet, Ehrerril, her baby brother, Tom and Jack, the last two adopted from the pound.

My favourite petpet is (no surprise there) the Babaa. Gwillewyn II has a Faerie Babaa named Bobby, and together we have a whole Gallery of Babaas and Babaa-items (as mentioned above). I collect Babaa merchandise in real life too; I have several plushies, a whole lot of stickers, a notepad I use as a shopping list, a lanyard I keep my key-card in when I'm at work, and lots of little odd bits like fridge magnets and trading cards.
I also have a Babaa Tattoo. I know it sounds crazy, but I did think it through thourougly, and I think it really fits my personality.
My job as a Computer Technician at a hospital, means I'm around computers all day, so I can usually sneak in a couple of minutes of playing inbetween work. Just as long as my boss doesn't notice. :)

I'm a good old fashioned HTML-Goddess, I still write real HTML-code by hand in Notepad the way I always have. If it can be done with HTML I can do it, and even if it can't I can probably fake it. I spend a lot of time hanging around the Help Chat, looking for people who need HTML-help and trying to teach people the difference between HTML, CSS and Design. I try not to be cruel to newbies, but I prefer people learning the basics on their own before asking me for help.

I suffer from polarizing creativity. Sometimes I write, sometimes I draw, sometimes I sculpt, sometimes I photograph, sometimes I sew, and occationally I find other absurd ways of expressing my artistic sides. Results of these bursts of inspiration are; drawings, a lot of strange home-made outfits, paper-maché sculptures, door signs, bookmarks, and lots of lots of unfinished stories.





I'm addicted to trophies.
We've won a lot of common trophies; cheat, snow wars, cellblocks and stuff like that. They're nice, but not very special.
However there are a few trophies we are particularily proud of:

Second place at CodeBreakers!!		 May 1st 2003 This trophy took 6 hours of intense boredom, brakes not included, to achieve. I made a stupid mistake and lost right before round 500...
Codebreakers is easy, but very boring, and you never know how many points you have or how much longer you'll have to go to get a trophy.
I might some day try for the gold, but right now I have too much of a life...

Gallery Spotlight 2xCHAMPION!!!		 May 23rd 2003 The 18th spotlight. Awarded for my Gallery of Mathematics and Intelligence.

August 13th 2003 The 30th spotlight. Awarded for my Babaa Gallery.

I was the first person to win the Gallery spotlight twice (and for a long time the only player to do so, before mametchi86 achieved the same feat).
The second time was actually a bit of a surprise considering that I hadn't entered. I believe the reason I won was because they had a Babaa-themed news day.

October 11th 2003 - Second place at Gadgadsgame!! I'm proud of this one, as i earned it completely without trying. It wasn't the result of an intense play-session at the 1st of the month or anything, I was simply playing the game for the fun of it and got a really good score.
November 5th 2003 - Gadgadsgame CHAMPION!!! The score I got this trophy with was actually lower than the score I got the silver trophy with, but this was at the very beginning of the month, so the requirements weren't as high.
I'm still proud of it. Gadgadsgame is probably the only game I'm really good at and enjoy playing.
December 3rd 2003 - Third place at Sutek's Tomb!! I really love this game. It's the perfect blend of puzzle and action.
I scored just enough for the silver trophy, but by the time the trophies were given out I had been bumped down to bronze.
January 20th 2004 - Sutek's Tomb CHAMPION!!! By chance I happened to notice that they reset the high-score mid-month (because of a new scoring system being implemented), so I sat down and played for about 4 hours straight, and ended up with a score of 49,000 points. That was just enough for gold!

Bobby the Faerie Babaa


I'm Gwillewyn, named by and after my human. I was born almost five years ago, back in Neopet' youth. I was originally a Uni, not a Kyrii, it wasn't until years later I was turned into the shape I have now.
I've been painted several colours, first skunk, then fire, then a huge array of shapes and colours while I went through my first period of lab-ray training. I quite like the lab ray; it's really exciting to see what you'll turn into next, and it doesn't hurt at all, despite what some pets think. I was zapped every day for several months, before we started going bored. We stopped once I turned a neat colour; Faerie, and started zapping orphans from the pound. We've turned a lot of poor abandoned pets into colourful stars, and found them good caring owners.
Faerie turned out not to suit my personality very well; it was just too darned cute! I'm not a naturally cute pet. I want to be more of a, how to put it, bit more of an infernal colour... Something like Shadow, Halloween, Ghost, Mutant or preferably Darigan! Unfortunately, Kyriis don't come in those colours.
I went back to the labray for a while, zapped every day for a few months before we got bored again, so we painted me Christmas and started adopting again. Christmas is a really cool colour, for Kyriis. The hair really rocks, but Christmas too, is a bit too nice for my taste.
We really had our hopes up for Kyrii day 2004; there was a grey Kyrii in the news, so my human ran out and got me a grey paint brush. I was really excited about it, but when we got to the rainbow pool, it turned out the colour hadn't been activated. The paint brush would not work. After a couple of weeks of waiting, we had both almost turned naturally grey with disappointment; we gave up waiting and put the brush away and went back to training with the lab-ray, while we waited for the rainbow pool to be fixed. A couple of months passed, and finally on November 24th, on the day I turned 1800 days old, we finally added this wonderful colour to my coat!

Now I guess I should tell you a bit about Bobby, my babaa. He tumbled out of the fruit machine one morning along with some neopoints, and followed me home. Since then I haven't been able to get rid of him.
He makes squeeky noises if I move too far away and he looks at me with those huge sad eyes. So I usually end up bringing him along.
Babaas are generally a bit nervous, but Bobby is worse than most. He has stacked a bunch of pillows under my bed and made some kind of soft cave to hide in. If you take a look under my bed all you'll see is two bright eyes.
My human absolutely adores him, so I guess I'll have to keep him.

Unfortunately my human didn't take the time to advertise it properly, so I didn't get a very good score.

1st place for Kyrii		 September 30th 2002 This time the picture we entered wasn't very good, but my human got all her friends to vote, so we managed gold!

PPL		 August 13th 2003 The news had a Babaa theme that day. It was the same day we won our second gallery spotlight.

Pet Spotlight		 August 27th 2004 I'm very proud of this trophy. I got it on Kyrii day! This means I'm the most interesting Kyrii of 2004!

I was the best Kyrii by several hundred votes, although I was up against some really great pictures.


During my original lab-ray training, I spent a long time in the shape of an Aisha; a shape I was very unhappy with. So my human decided to cheer me up by creating a Kyrii and Hair Gallery.
That's the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me. It's really good too! Has some rare items and stuff!

I have a baby Brother named Ehrerril, he's really cute and annoying and all the stuff babies usually are, but my Human tells me to get used to him, since she's intending to keep him...
I guess I'll let him be as long as he rembembers who's the boss, but if I catch him eating my hair gel one more time I'm going to kick all the stuffing out of his plushie slorg.

 Jack and Tom were both adopted from the pound in December 2003, just a few days apart, and although they're both Kyriis, they are like night and day...
Jack is outgoing and funny. Tom is quiet and shy.
Tom is well trained and nicely groomed. Jack constantly looks like he just got out of bed.
Yet they became best friends from day one.
They are both fantically obsessed with our neohome. Jack is a gardener and is responsible for most of the crazyness in our neogarden, like the hedge maze and Badekar's Winter Wonderland.
Tom's passion is interior design. I keep him on quite tight reins when it comes to decorating my parts of the house, which is probably why he went so crazy designing their own apartment.

I have another brother named Badekar.
You probably realize that we're not actually related; he's adopted. My human named him after her boyfriend.
He's OK, he doesn't touch any of my stuff or anything. We don't have much to do with each other. He's spends most of his time on holiday in Happy Valley, and when he's at home he harly leaves his room or garden. And those are too cold for me to visit him. I guess you could say he's a loner, but he seems to be happy.

This is where I live; 12512 Earth Faerie Close.
Unlike most neohomes which are just one huge building, our little sanctuary is made up out of four independent small construction.
To the south, at the bottom of the picture, you see the main building. What we call The main Annex. It features the welcome-hall, my library and a shared fireplace lounge where we pets gather at nights to play cards or talk.
The bamboo building, to the west, is the guest house. Jack and Tom used to live there for a long period, until we built them a more permeanent abode on the 1st floor. Jack is our gardener, while Tom does the interior decorating.
The building to the north-west is where my siblings live. Badekar has the icy room to the left, furnished in typically Bruce-fashion with snow and ice, with a matching garden outside. The room to the right is a play-room, mostly for Ehrerril, but anyone who visits are welcome. Ehrerril's bedroom is two floors up in the tower above the playroom.
Behind, there's a simple twig hut open for anyone who need a bit of peace and quiet to themselves. The first room is a primitive kitchen. Personally I wouldn't eat anything that's cooked in there.

Most of my time is spent in the Tower of Inspiration on the second floor.
I have everything I need up there; a desk, a bed, a sofa, a nice hot fireplace and lots of cabinets to put all my stuff in. No one comes up here but me; it's my sanctuary.

Zeus the Zytch

My Kyrii collects Babaas. That scares me a bit. She tells me I'm not a part of the collection, but you never know. What if she someday decides to start collecting Snowbunnies in stead or Angelpusses? I don't like Angelpuss; they look like a cat with its head stuck in a tea-pot; they're scary. My Kyrii once said Snowbunnies were cute, and our human owns a Harris (she says it's just a plushie, but she says the same thing about her babaas and they look just like my aunt Petra and uncle Bob).
I live under the bed. They all live in her shop. I'm scared to go there when the lights are out. Their eyes are glassy and they don't move. They don't even hide when there's a scary noise, and all Babaas know that noises are not to be messed with. Gwillewyn tells me that petpets don't have a soul until a Neopet adopts them, and therefore the Babaas in the shop aren't really alive. They still scare me.



MyThis is Gwillewyn's Bed. I spend a lot of time under there.
It's a really good bed for hiding under, it's got so much folds and covers, no one can see you. Gwillewyn's given me a pillow to sleep on under there; it's really soft and fluffy. She's kind to me.
