~Gallatea~ Water Faerie Draik Healer
It was a warm, slightly breezy day at the beach and you were walking barefoot on the sand, enjoying the wind in your hair and the neverending sound of crashing waves and birds up ahead. Then, spotting something out of the corner of your eye, you turn just in time to see a pale green and blue figure leap up from the waves. Curious, you roll up your pants and walk into the waves, trying to get another look at whatever it was. You walk out until the passing waves were high enough to get your waist wet and peer out over the rolling crests. Seeing nothing, you shrug and start turning back to shore when something brushes against your legs and a dragon head pops out of the water in front of you. Hello there! The small draik chimes happily and lifts herself higher out of the water, allowing you to get a closer look at the dragon. You might want to get back to shore, these waves can be dangerous. Flipping her tail fins, the draik leaps out of the water, and the next second she was replaced with a faerie draik fluttering above the waves.
Gesturing for you to follow, she flutters back to the beach and settles down on a warm patch of sand to dry off. ![]() About Me I am Gallatea_Wind, Gallatea if you prefer, I am a water draik, faerie, and healer. Well healer in training anyways. She blushes slightly and gazes down at her tear shaped necklace. When I was first found by Truth, my guardian, I had this strange necklace bound around my neck, and I have always carried it with me. It is the source of most of my magic, it is what allows me to heal others quickly with just a simple spell. She sighs gently and holds the necklace in her webbed paw. Water has powerful healing powers, one just needs to know how to use it. She smiles gently.
Ah, I bet you're curious about my forms. She giggles and flutters her wings playfully. I am a water faerie draik, having had mixed parents, so I have a faerie form and a water form. This is my faerie form, and you saw my water form in the water.

![]() My Story
I have always been one of the water, it has always just brought me great joy ever since I was just a little hatchling. I was born 21 years ago and have lived a happy life with my dear 'sister' Truth, yet I never knew my past, nor at the time cared. I was a carefree child, constantly distracted, or wanting to play. I knew nothing of responsibility, or of any of the evils of the world. But lately things have been changing, my body is growing and changing in shape and my mind has started maturing some, and along with those, my curiosity about my past has grown. I kept my questions and curiosity to myself until my 18th birthday came around and I found out with great surprise that I was a faerie dragon, or at least part faerie, and it was that day that I found my faerie wings.
So feeling curiosity about whom my parents were and how Truth came to find me, I gathered up my courage and confronted Truth with my questions. So listening politely and calmly, Truth nodded gently at my questions and began answering them, satisfying my curiosity and longing. As she told it, my mother was a sea-based creature, a serpent of the sea, while my father was a faerie dragon, a mischievous and carefree creature. Well at the time, the faerie and water draiks in that region were at war, constantly fighting each other for no reason at all except for an ancient misunderstanding between the two species. Well one day my father was off on patrol around the borders, when he came across a young water draik femme dangling in one of the faerie draik's nets. She had cuts all over her from the nets thin rope, and she appeared to be unconscious. Now the young faerie male had grown up with the belief that the water draiks were cruel and evil creatures who took any chance to kill a faerie draik. But as he gazed upon this youth, he couldn't believe that such a creature would be able to kill others, and felt sorry for her. So he cut her down from the net and carried her to a safe shelter where she could be safe from faerie guards and could recover safely. He would often visit her and bring her food and other necessities and soon fell in love with her and she with him. But of course such a relationship was forbidden and as soon as my mother was healed, she had to return to her home while my father returned to his, both heartbroken and lonely.
At the time, Truth was wandering in that area and came upon the barely alive mother and myself. Surprised and unsure what to do, she brought the two to the nearest lake and worked on reviving my mother while trying to care for me at the same time. After a little while, my mother woke up, and upon seeing Truth with a happy me in her arms, she told Truth her story and begged her to take care of me, for she could not. Seeing how desperate my mother was, Truth quickly agreed. From then on Truth always took good care of me, keeping me safe from harm, and giving me everything a hatchling would need. And soon I came to consider her as my sister, and that has never changed. She might as well have been my sister, if not mother. But as I grew older and learned how to take care of myself, she grew more distant from me as she gained more responsibilities. So I went off on my own and spent most of my time exploring until I finally found myself a home and made some friends.
Now I wander wherever I can to help those in need and to learn more secrets of the art of healing.
And now that I know my past, I am forever grateful to Truth for taking me in and saving both my mother's lives and mine. I still long to know who my mother or father was though. I have thought about seeking them out sometime. But I most likely will be met with disappointment, and I now have my own responsibilities as well, like Aara, my goddaughter. And I couldn't just leave my friends; they have become a part of who I am. But maybe some day, some day…
![]() My Companion Then watching as a small shape flutters down onto her small shoulder, Gallatea smiles and looks over at the tiny fox like creature perched on her shoulder, its large blue eyes blinking down at you while its pink and white tail twitches playfully above its head. Ah yes, Sweety my little Doglefox. Isn't she cute? Well don't let her innocent seeming face fool you, she is a very mischievious little critter. But also very sweet and affectionate when she wants to be. I spose that you could consider her a little toddler, constantly getting into trouble, but of course she is just too adorable to resist. She grins gently and lovingly pets a small faerie doglefox on her shoulder. ![]() Adoptables Rules 1. No altering or using the images in the BC or AG. 2.
