Story

My life has not been one of sunshine and rainbows. Though one would say it did start off that way. My father was the overlord of the electric clan. He reined over a vast territory and was praised by his subjects. My mother was beautiful beyond comparison with an intellect to match it. Together they had governed the land for nearly a hundred years with my older brother and sister. With the arrival of my birth I was considered a child prodigy. My markings matched those of a legendary hero from times of old. It was soon discovered I had incredible abilities beyond any ordinary member of our clan. But even that was not enough to save them…

Up until I was two years of age I was pampered in luxury but a disastrous plot was being developed. A war between the humans and Draiks had been underway for the past year and human forces were moving their way towards out home range. With my birth it was decided that I would be heir to the throne surpassing my older siblings. My brother who was nearing adult was enraged but this. He along with a few other followers developed a plan to assassinate my father and I without any suspicion. On a beautiful clear day my father took me on a flight around the kingdom showing the extent of our territory. This all fell into my brother's plot. Unknowingly we were flying strait for a human army and into my brother's plan. Laughing he flew ahead of us, waiting… waiting for us to be close enough… when we a few mins with sight of the humans he attacked the army. It was a quick but bloody attack. As quickly as he had come he few off in our direction with the army quick to follow.

Unaware of the approaching danger my father and I landed at one of the many lakes that were in our territory. He smiled as I played next to the water, zapping a few fish to eat. He suddenly stood up, his smile was gone. There was movement within the forest around us. When without warning a wall of arrows shot out of the darkness towards us. My father flung himself around me and protected me from the onslaught as arrows pierced his flesh. A wave of solders came charging out screaming with swords in hand. They began to light arrows and shooting them at my father. He wailed in pain as they struck sending a horrible smell of burning flesh into the air. Horrified I clung tight to his chest. As the solders approached the wave of arrows stopped; giving my father enough time to take flight. The arrows had pierced holes in his wings making it difficult to gain altitude.

In desperation he flew clinging tightly to me back towards the kingdom, worried for my safety. With his slowing speed the army was able to keep close behind us ridding strange four legged creatures; shooting more arrows whenever he drifted down within range. I felt his grip starting to loosen and he began to loose his strength, but he still continued determined. it seemed to take hours before we were within sight of the palace. My father seemed to be filled with a renewed strength and began to loose sight of our attackers. As we reached the outer wall his strength suddenly disappear and we tumbled down into the palace.

I was knocked unconscious in the impact and awoke to the heart wrenching scream of my mother. I was rushed away from the now lifeless body of my father as I heard a loud explosion at the outer wall of the city followed by more screams. One of my many care takers along with my sister and mother took me to one of the most protected rooms of the palace. Explosions seem to rock the very walls and I could hear many Draik rush by. My mother clung tightly to me, her body quivering with fear. The sounds of fighting grew closer and closer as the hours passed.

My brother burst into the room bloodied and beaten. Horrified… realizing what he had done, he stared at me as his eyes glazed over and fell to the ground lifeless. My mother protectively covered me with her wings tears flowed from her eyes as a group of humans entered the room. It was over in quick. I was ripped from my mothers lifeless arms. They laughed and discussed what they should do with me. I hung in their grasp horrified staring back at my mother, her once beautiful eyes so full of love were now dull and listless. Tears began to cloud my vision and the room around us seemed to grow dark as clouds began to accumulate at amazing speed outside. The room was filled with a bright blue light that I realized was coming from me. Electric discharges erupted in the room created by my body. Lightning ripped across the sky outside and struck the walls of the palace sending stones flying. I was dropped by the humans as they were struck by the electricity. I grew weak and I used up my powers and collapsed to the ground and the lightning stopped.

The few men that escaped my wrath stood in the door way shocked and amazed by my powers. One happened to the Commander of the army and he formulated a plan. A young Draik with such amazing powers could come in handy. I was young enough to be trained. I was carried off away from my home, never to see it again.

I am the newest member of Aura's family and I don't know her other neopets yet but It time I hope they can be considered my new family

Shacar10

Shacar is a mystery to all those around her and to herself. She woke up one day on Mystery Island with out any memories of her past or how she got there. Her only clue was the ring around her tail that was inscribed with the name shacar. If that is her name or not still remains a mystery. Akansho rescued her and helped her addapt to her new home. Aura took them both in shortly after. She is one of the most well known of Aura's pets and is used in a large number of Her Art Gallery pictures and soon to be Neopian Times comic. Shacar's popularity has not affected her personality, she's still a fun loving kougra who loves nothing more than watching the snow fall with Akansho by her side.

Serraona

Serraona or as she is often called; Ser; is a Merdrac from the cost of mystery island. The Merdrac's are an ancient group of Draiks who over time lost their wings and evolved to live in the Sea. They are peaceful but very few in numbers. Most live in communities on coral flats off the cost or Mystery Island and in other tropical waters of the Oceans. Theirs is a carefree race, wild and free. The only threats they have are deterred by their powers of poisons and sonic stunnage, and camouflage. They come in a varieties of different shapes and colors. The merdracs are a peaceful, playful species that don't mind being seen. Ser will play a major role in the development of Captayn.

Akansho

Akansho is a rarity even among kougras. He looks like a spotted kougra but his fur is grey/white. Because of his appearance he has been shun and ridiculed by many including the BC judges. He is a fun loving kougra who loves nothing more than spending time with shacar. Born in the icy peaks of Terror Mountain, Akansho has traveled all over neopia searching for his true home. While visiting Mystery Island he met shacar who laid unconscious on the beach. You could say it was love at first site. With Shacar by his side he finally found his true home.

Inferno is a Canyon Guardian Draik, a species that is only found in the canyon of ages. They are an ancient breed who watch over the lands and deserts. Their magic keeps the rocks their brilliant colors of red, orange, and purples. Inferno is by all other Draik standards a mutant. He has 2 sets of eyes, an elongated face, his tail is twice the length of his body and is ended in a sharp blade. His coloration is similar to a Mountain king snake and like them he is not poisonous. Their coloration makes them almost invisible when they're against the canyon walls. although they are not poisonous they can flick their tail up over their back and defend themselves with the tail blade. The Canyon guardians Draiks are strictly vegetarians feeding on cacti. they have rows of sharp teeth used to cut the cacti into bite size peaces with out getting stuck by the sharp thorns.

Captayn

Captayn was once a wayward prankster but with the discovery of the fabled Warriors Armor, his life changed drastically. Whether it's a hunter trying to catch him or one of his own clan tries to drown him it, trouble just seems to follow him. But he has the determination and the help of several friends to guide him down the path to his destiny. The start of his trouble they say was to blamed on the loss of his parents during the battle with Shage and his Rouge Draiks. He has never been one for sympathy or remorse and doesn't feel it's necessary to talk about his parents. He was always causing trouble whether it was causing pranks or getting in trouble around humans. He seemed like an unlikely hero, but he might just prove them all wrong.

Kahlidah

Kahlidah, or Kahli as she is often called is the very first draik to exist. She was born when the world was new from the molten lava and hardening rock from the worlds surface. She created the land and sea with the power of the volcano's. The volcano's are so hot that they fuse Hydrogen and Oxygren to for water and Ozone thus creating a livable world. Kahli has all the powers of the world since she is part of it. She has a violent tempper and will act when things start getting out of hand in the world. But for the most part she stays hidden with in her volcano, dormant arising when the occational tourist ventures too close.

Petpet

Felis.

This creature called a faellie was given to me shortly after I was brought into this family. It insists of following me around where ever I go. I find its cuteness to be rather disgusting and I have no time for such a creature. Yet it persists to irritate me, playing in my fur and running around my legs as I walk. A quick jolt of electricity will normally give me some peace but it always returns for more.
