Welcome, guest, to the Mathematical guide to the Lunar Temple!
Thanks TNT for fixing the error in coding of ranges. A new chart is below.
Thanks to all who neomailed me or told me on boards that it was fixed and about their wrong answers in that area. I believe it's all correct again but if you still get it wrong please NeoMail me. I'll look into it right away and update as soon as I get it figured out.
Basic Instructions
- Look at page source (guide to finding page source here).
- Search (control-F) for: angleKreludor. (Note: Search the page source on the answer page, not the welcome page!)
- Look for a number like this: angleKreludor=84&viewID
- Find the number on the chart.
Example: Take the number after angleKreludor, mine's 84, and look at the fancy new chart. Find the range where your number falls and look across. There's your answer! In this example, it's 13.
If you like to do the math yourself, down below is the formula that explains how to figure it out and another chart.
Below is the old info for figuring out the answer yourself.
Also, I have noted the issues and errors that have been brought to my attention.
Want to know where the numbers in the equations below come from? Check here.
First, look at page source and search for kreludor.
After that is a number. Example: Kreludor=84&viewID
If the number is below 180:
Add 202.5
Divide by 22.5.
Example: 84 + 202.5 = 286.5 / 22.5 = 12.7.
You round that to 13. If the answer was 12.4 then you round to 12.
If the number is higher than 180:
Subtract 157.5
Divide by 22.5.
Example: 265 - 157.5 = 107.5 / 22.5 = 4.8
Which rounds to 5.
Using the chart below you can see your answer.
NOTE: I have been told this is sometimes incorrect. I'm trying to calculate were I went wrong. So please NM me your number so I can see if there are any similarities. Thanks for your help.
So far only one case noted.
If any other issues are found please NeoMail me right away and I'll look into it. Also, in NeoMail, please note what you answered. Thanks.

Also big thanks to Mem for my fancy banners. Also like to thank Cath for helping me reorganize and make page all pretty and for Mac snap shots
