If you clicked on the pirate ship, it would lead you to this page. The boat is called The Cyodrake's Gaze, and you can see an image of half of it with crew members on. Clicking on the crew members can lead to different things.

Clicking on the Kougra leads to a game called Kou-Jong.
Clicking on the Blumaroo leads to a new cooking pot.
Clicking on the Shoyru, the Ruki or the Nimmo lead to different shops.
Clicking on the Captain meant you can talk to him...
Welcome to the Cyodrake's Gaze. I'm Captain Tuan, and I'm afraid that will have to be the extent of our greetings. We're in a bit of a bind right now, so I'll have to ask you to come back later."
Bind? What kind of bind? His ship and his crew do look a bit worse for wear, but you have a feeling that's not what he means. It's quite obvious they're not from Krawk Island, either.
I really am sorry, but this is important and I don't have time to talk. Please, leave me to my duties."
Dejected, you turn to leave, only to feel a tug on your sleeve. You look down to see a green Scorchio and he beckons you closer. He doesn't want anyone else to hear what he's about to tell you.
Please, don't go! The Captain is just... worried. Very worried. I... I can't say much, but we could really use some help. Please, just offer your assistance. I'm sure he'll talk to you then. I'm sure of it!"
Ah ha! So there is more going on! Clever one, you are. You hesitate for a moment, though, if only because you remember previous times you've offered to help a strangers. Volcanoes... and spike traps... and flooded cities. *shudder* They really do look like they could use a hand, though, so you follow the advice of the Scorchio and offer your services to the Captain.
Help us? Well, I guess we could use all the help we can get. Very well, friend. I'll tell you our story, though I don't know how much good it'll do. I would be grateful if you could help, but I don't think that's possible."
He lets out a big sigh begins to tell you the tale of how his ship and his crew ended up on the shores of Krawk Island.
Listening to the Captain's story leads you to a comic-book type story.
6th August
Today, the ship which had come into the harbour of Krawk Island, has mysteriously vanished. If you try the Cyodrake's Gaze link, TNT says this:
The Cyodrake's Gaze
It appears the mysterious ship that once docked on these shores has left harbour. Where could it have gone?
All three shops, the Captain's Story and Kou-Jong have gone!
We also find out today that the Cyodrake's Gaze is definitely a plot, as in the News, TNT gives a link to some Plot Themed Poems.
8th August
A new avatar has been released, but no one is yet sure how to get it.

In the News, TNT says this:
If only there was a Blumaroo chef around to help you find the new Avatar...
9th August
The ship today has reappeared in Mystery Island.
If you talk to Captain Tuan again, he says this:
Ah, we meet again. What of Hoban? The news is not good, I'm afraid. We've searched for two days but have yet to discover his whereabouts. We caught sight of Mystery Island and thought he might have made it here, but it does not appear so. We'll not give up that easily, however. We plan to head out again as soon as we rest a bit and resupply."
Unless you find your own ship and your own crew to search the vast Neopian oceans, you'll not actually be much help here. You press Captain Tuan again, asking if there's anything you can do aside from that.
Well, I've been thinking... we know nothing of when or where Hoban fell. Orrin does not know the time, nor is he sure through which portal he witnessed the fall. He was tossed about quite a bit in the... *ahem* locked storeroom during the storm. Perhaps by speaking to the rest of the crew, we could retrace Hoban's steps during the storm and figure out when he disappeared. Knowing that may help us narrow our search, giving us a much better chance of finding him."
Brilliant! You could easily do that. You've always had a knack for asking the right questions. Well, not really, but how hard could it be?
Very well. I'll ask you to speak to Kentari, then. He is the weapons vendor aboard this vessel. He also provides security, which is why I think it wise to speak to him first. You'll find him off the port bow... though, I'm not quite sure what he's doing there, exactly."
You salute the Captain with a hearty, "aye, aye," then make your way to Kentari.
If you know speak to Kentari, another chapter of the comic is available for you to read.
The comic tells Kentari's story of what happened during the storm. He says that he saw Bonju sneaking out of the weapons room but didn't have time to investigate because of the storm. Hoban complained to him that Linae wouldn't stop saying that he was a bad omen and he caused the storm. After the storm the Captain told them that they had to get back on course. The Captain asked where Hoban was, but nobody knew. Then Orrin said that he had seen Hoban fall off the ship.
11th August
The ship leaves Mystery Island.
15th August
Now the ship has reappeared in faerieland. So it can fly...
Chapter 3 of the plot is now available.
19th August
The ship has left faerieland.
23rd August
The ship has reappeared again in the Lost Desert. Another chapter of the plot is available, this time its Linae's story.
27th August
The ship is still in the Lost Desert, but is unclickable. So its left the Desert.
29th August
The ship is back in Mystery Island! The Map room is now accessable.

What we think (and may be true)
There are many thoughts as to what is going on, and what everything means. I am going to go through some of the clues that people have thought of. Consider the following...
1. Hoban jumped off the ship and lead the boat into a storm on purpose. In the comic strip, in one image during the storm, he is shown to be in the background carriny a scroll. Some believe this is Scroll of the Sea, which is a scroll that lets you control the sea.

In the second comic, we see a treasure map floating on the sea right at the end of the comic, which tells us that Hoban is indeed looking for something, and did jump off the ship on purpose.
2. Hoban and Orrin are working together to find something. Orrin said he heard a scream and a splash, yet he was locked in a room, and no other crewmates heard a scream. Therefore, some people think that Orrin and Hobin are plotting together to find the treasure.
3. Hoban is a magician. He conjured a storm and sailed the ship into it so he could escape.
Other Possible Clues
1. Shenkuu. If people Googled the game, Kou-Jong, then this came up in the search:

You can see that it talks about your journey from Shenkuu. However, when we click on the link, and go to the game page, then the word Shenkuu has disappeared.

This theory has made people think that Shenkuu is a hidden Asian land, under Terror Mountain.
2. Asia. There are direct references to Asia in the plot, relating to countries such as China, Japan and Korea. For example, the clothes that the crew wear appear to be from Asia. Shenkuu, which I mentioned before, can be translated from a language to mean 'god' or 'mountain' (any more info on this, please neomail me)
3. The hand on the Explore map. If you zoom in about 3 times on the explore map (right click, zoom in) right where the link for Altador is, then there should be a green blob-thing to the right of where the link to the city is. It will look like this (the blob is circled in red):

However, if you hover your mouse just below the mountains just to the south of Altador, then there will be different blue rays coming off Altador, and the blob-thing will have changed shape into what looks like a pointing hand:

If you now zoom out, and look where this hand is pointing to, then it points to the unclickable island, which many people suspect is the hidden island Shenkuu.

4. 112 on the second chapter of the comic. When the 112 glitch occurs, some of the text changes:

Nobody is sure what this indicates yet, but somebody has made an account called chefxxx, which is confusing everyone as he/she is pretending to be the chef. This account has now been FROZEN.
5. Ollie. One of the neopets staff, called Ollie, started putting items as backgrounds in his lookup. These were Blumaroo Ice Cream Sundae, Orange Blumaroo Gummy Dice, and Cooking With Chef Boulgar. People have thought these to be the three items to put in the Cooking Pot, but I don't think anybody has tried because the book is very hard to find at the moment.
6. Is this Hoban? (unlikely..) There is a statue type thing in Altador, next to the Exquisite Ambrosia which is a yellow Aisha holding a scroll just like the one he had in the first comic. People have 'come to the conclusion' that this 'is definitely Hoban'. We shall see

What we think (and certainly isn't even related)
These were all used in old plots (and people have thought that they might relate to this plot), or they are not true at all.
1. The parrot. It has been used in plots before, but some think that it may come back into this one. If you go to the parrot, it will say a number of different lines:
Pieces of Eight
Pretty Aisha
It says other lines, but these were for previous plots.
The idea is that there is an 8 piece treasure, and Hoban (an Aisha) needs another piece of it.
The parrot, featured in an old plot, is NOT related to this plot.
2. The missing Armada boat. Some people think that when Hoban jumped off the ship, then he stole a rowing boat and sailed away. People guess that he sailed to Mystery Island.
Infact, there was only ever 1 boat in the dock outside the Armada.
3. The beach. The beach in mystery island spells letters when refreshed. People have gathered these letters together, and jumbled them around to find "Bad Aisha Hid".
The beach was also featured in an old plot, and is NOT related to CGP.
4. 112. In the Captain's story, fiddling about with the pages meant that something weird would happen to the speech bubbles.

Some people think that 112 are the coordinates of the treasure.
However, this was just a flash glitch.
5.The Brain Tree. DON'T believe any riddles that the Brain Tree apparently says. They are NOT true. This is a MEMBER OF THE NEOPETS TEAM telling us not to waste our money on the brain tree to find answers.
6. The Secret Message. In chapter two of the comic, the fifth frame is Captain Tuan standing between Kentari & the old Ruki, with his arm around both. If you click on the Captain's RIGHT eye (on our left) a number of times (people say different things: 112, 121, 211), then a page comes up.
This says that you've found the secret message, and has 3 pictures of crew members there - the Ruki, Kentari and Orrin. Below this, it says:
Straight from Captain Tuan's mouth himself, Kentari and two of his fellow ship mates have been asked to relay the following message -
True we be nay seafarin' heartys, nor be we vikings. But we lost a very valuable man aft thar. He has th' ma.. er, he's our navigator. & he's might skilled in mappin' ou' th' se'en seas! Without th' lad's, we've nay 'ere t' turn. Seein' that I we need that ma.. ahem, we need our navigator, we cannot sail as fast & efficiently without our navigator & his ma.. mm, him."
What could it mean?
This is a FAKE
. It doesn't exist.
As time goes on, I'm sure TNT will give us more clues. And I will update it then!
