How A-A-N Works
Mentors are the experienced players on Neopets who wish to 'adopt a newbie'. The newbies are the players that are new to the site, and are still unsure of how it works, etc. They are the ones who need help getting a jump start, and the mentors are here to help them.

The newbie will send a neomail to a possible mentor with the topic "Adopt a Newbie!". If the mentor accepts, they will become neofriends with the newbie. Then that newbie can ask for help whenever, and get their answer directly by the experienced mentor.

How To Pair Up
This is the easy part! The newbie will just pick a user from the list and send them a neomail with the topic, "Adopt-A-Newbie!" Easy as pie. The mentor will neofriend the newbie if they accept the offer. If they don't, the newbie just chooses another person from the list. Simple.

Rules

• NO begging from your mentor. The mentor is here to help you earn neopoints and items, not give them to you.
• Don't use chatspeak, it's hard to read, and your mentor probably won't appreciate it.
• In order for the program to work properly, you must neofriend your mentor. Try to keep neomailing back and forth, and not lose your activeness together. Keep asking questions, no matter how simple the answer might be. Remember, the mentor is here to help, don't be shy to ask something.
• ALL THE HELP THIS SITE OFFERS IS NEOPETS RELATED ! I cannot say that enough. Don't ask your mentor personal/non-related questions.

• Having your name mentioned on this website.
• Being contacted by newbies wanting help.
• The possibility of being begged from, should the newbie not follow both TNT's rules - and A-A-N's.
