Greetings, guest! I see you've managed to stuble upon my glitter page! I love making glitters, and I'm happy that you want to use them, but I have a few simple rules that you have to follow, m'kay? Please read the rules before you continue!

10/8/06: Shadow's completed her Lab Map goal! She's so happy she could cry...-sniffle-

9/21/06: Poor liddle Shadow's god a code -sniffle- Boy, do I feel crummy...-blows nose- So yeah, I'm home from school today, which will hopefully give me some time to get my previously requested glitters finished. Requests are staying closed, though :( Sorry, but as I said, I feel like dung ;.;

9/6/06: School starts for me today T-T Summer vacation is...is...over?!? Nuuu!!!
This means that I will probably only have requests open on days I don't have school, because I'll have homework and instrument lessons and all that junk on the days that I do. Sorry for the inconvenience.

8/31/06: I got my first award today ^w^ Thanks, seashells_123! I love it!
In other news, I'm sorry to those 5 people wh have requested glitters and not gotten them yet. I've been really tired, and haven't been spending much time on the computer lately. If I don't do them today, I'll make myself do them tomorrow.

8/23/06: I'm back from my trip =D we stayed in a very nice B&B (with cable TV XD Added bonus) and went to see James Taylor LIVE at Tanglewood! It was very cool ^^ I'm still kind of tired, but glitter resuests are open again. So send 'em on over! =D

8/20/06: We've got a spiffy new Shadow Usul layout! What do you think? I'll be redoing the welcome sign a little later on ;)

8/19/06: I'll be going away to the Berkshires from Sunday (tomorrow) to Wednesday, and sadly, my laptop has no wireless internet access, so I won't be able to check neomail or anything else while I'm gone. Therefore, glitter requests will be closed from today to Wednesday (today included because I'll be packing and all that jazz). Sorry for the closing, but if you have a request for me, hang on to it! I'll be taking new requests as soon as I get back! :D

8/10/06: I now have a shiny new awards section up! Soo...if you want to show ol' Shadow how much you like her in a spiffy graphic......-pokes- You DO? Don't you?
Nah, I'm just fooling with you XD You don't have to make me an award if you don't want...but it would make me feel awfully spiffy...

8/9/06: There is a new rule up. Please read it! It has been a recurring problem, and I'm starting to get fed up. We don't want that to happen, do we?

8/7/06: I've decided to use a new organization method for the regular Glitter Images section. If you take a peek down there, you'll see what I mean. Doesn't it look so much more organized now? I'm thinking about doing it for the Custom Pickup section as well, but I'm not sure...neomail me and tell me what you think! :D

8/6/06: We're back, and we're more awesome than ever! If you've been wondering, "Where was Shadow? Why did her glitters disappear off the face of Neopia?!" Let me explain what happened: Everything was going great with Shadow's Glitters. I was getting requests left and right, I was making glitters to my heart's content. But then, for some unexplained reason, Neo stopped supporting my image server, Photobucket. None of my glitters were showing up, and I couldn't fix the problem. I had to take down my glitter page sometime in June, and think about what I was going to do. Eventually, the only option was to reupload all of the glitters to another server, and that seemed like a very scary thing to me, because I had so many graphics. I put it on hold for about a month and a half, and then I got up my courage and did it this morning. It took two hours, but it's done :D So, Shadow's Glitters is officially back in business!

Request a Glitter

~**~ IMPORTANT! Please read: Ladies, and gents, I am going to ask this nicely ONCE, and only ONCE. Please, PLEASE, don't request a glitter when it says that requests are CLOSED! I close requests when I'm too busy to make the glitters quickly. That will usually be during the school week, or when I go away for the weekend. So please, honor this and try to send me glitter requests only when it says that glitter requests are OPEN. Thank you for your consideration. It is much appreciated. ~**~

Yes, I do requests.

If you would like to request a glitter image, neomail me with the following info:

  1. The image you want
  2. What part of the image you want glittered
  3. Whether or not you want sparkles on your image
  4. When you need your glitter by (if it doesn't matter, just say so)

If you would like to request glittered words, neomail me with the following info:

  1. The words you want
  2. What color you want the words to be
  3. If you want a specific font, which one,
    (NOTE: I use a Windows computer, so if you have a Mac, I might not have the font you want)
    and if you want a specific size of text
  4. Whether or not you want sparkles on your image
  5. When you need your glitter by (if it doesn't matter, just say so)

Please note: Unless your font is amazingly blocky already (ex. Arial Black), I can guarantee that your font will look blocky with sparkles. It just doesn't work. If you still want sparkles on your thinner font, ask me and I'll see what I can do...

It would make my life (and yours, I bet) a lot easier if you just copied the format and filled in the information you want. For examples, see below:

Glitter Image

  1. The image I want is a Starry Gelert
  2. I'd like the stars glittered
  3. Yes, I would like sparkles
  4. I don't need my glitter by a specific date ^-^

Glittered Words

  1. The words I want are 'Cheese is cool!'
  2. I'd like the words to be gold
  3. If you can, please make the font Comic Sans MS, size 36
  4. I would not like sparkles
  5. I need my glitter by August 16

Update!! I realized that it was kind of stupid to have reqular glittered images (like a Faerie Wocky) only for the certain person who requested it in the Custom Pickup section, so I have a new system set up:
If you have requested an image of a pet (such as a Skunk Koi for example), with nothing else, then I will put it up in the Custom Pickup area for a few days, giving you enough time to collect it. Afterwards, however, it will be put in the regular Glitter Images section so everyone can use it :) Glitters this update doesn't apply to are:
Any words/names/etc.
Any glitter of a group of pets/petpets/pets and petpets/etc.
Any banner/button/etc.
If you have any problems with this, please don't hesitate to neomail me!

All of the glitters here were made only for the person who asked for them.
Please do not use them unless you have requested one and are coming to pick it up.
You are only allowed to use the glitter that I made specifically for you. Please do not take anyone else's glitter from this section. If you need to see more about this, please read this!
I will keep all of the requested images here, in case you lose the HTML. If you find that yours has been accidentally deleted, neomail me telling me that it was deleted, and I will put it back up for you :D
The glitters here are ordered newest to oldest (new at the top, old at the bottom) :)

So you want to know how YOU can win Shadow's Award of Awesomeness, do you?

This is my spiffeh award that I made to give out to deserving people XD Obviously, if you recieve one, yours won't have the dancing "Sample" on it ;D

Here's who I give it to:

  1. Screenie makers
  2. Misc. design makers (ex. backgrounds, userlookups, etc.)
  3. Guide makers (ex. NP guides, game guides, etc.)
  4. Adoptable makers
  5. Basically, anyone who makes something that other users can benefit from =D

Since you obviously want one of these, here are some of the main requirements:

  1. Your media has to have some quality.
  2. If it's a screenie, it should be funny!
  3. If it's something like a userlookup or a guild layout, the setup should be pretty :)
