A beautiful Uni from far Meridell
Her mane flowing free in the night,
A warrior, guardian, princess as well
But her deep wounds show signs of a fight.

She staggers quite slowly, her scars showing blood,
And silently lays down to rest,
Feelings flood back of Lupes in the mud,
Of a far-off fight in the West.

The stars in the heavens gaze down from so high
At the magical horse on the hill,
The mist parts, a silhouette on the sky,
As a stranger walks into the chill.

The strangers' eyes meet, for a second or more
In the soft breeze the horse's mane flows
The kind unknown creature stares at her in awe,
/ At Crystal, the Celtic Rose.

.::My Story::.

You find yourself traveling down a narrow path, surrounded by huge, twisted oaks and knarled old beeches. The ground beneath is worn and dusty. The twilight rays of sun are fading, and now the only thing showing the way is the light of the moon. Shrubs and bushes grow up high, and rose vines entangle with the trunks of trees. The strange silence is suddenly cut short, by a low growl, a pad of a footstep, a lupe footstep. Though you know not where you are, or where you are going, you know that this place is dangerous. But the path infront curves round a bend a little way ahead. You hear a sharp bark and spin round, creeping backwards. A twig cracks beneath your foot, and you look down. The silence comes again, the only sound is your heart beat getting faster and faster. The footsteps coming nearer and nearer, panting, barking, then an enormous howl raises the hairs on your neck. You start running backwards, then turn dashing for the corner. The footsteps are now running too, but a whole pack of barkings and howls, following their prey. Skidding round the corner you suddenly screech to a halt. The path infront is blocked by a towering, spiney rose bush. Neither being able to go back or forward, you turn from the rose bush and close your eyes, listening to the pack getting nearer and nearer, awaiting your fate...

A high pitched whinnie pierces the air, and daring to open your eyes and look round, a huge brown and black shape with four hooves leaps over the wall of roses, and lands a few metres infront of you. There, it stands, breathing heavily in and out, and you cannot decide whether it is angry or excited, as it's trembling and stamping its hooves on the beaten track. You have no time to observe the animal closely for in a few seconds, the pack where also coming round the corner, and there were a lot of them, all hungry and bloodthirsty. But the size of the pack doesn't bother the great beast, it just stands there, waiting. The packs skids to a halt infront, stunned by the animal in the way of their chase. The front lupe comes back to reality quicker than the others, and gives a loud howl, and that set the others off like a domino effect, and they turn their glowing eyes on the mysterious animal. Quick as a flash, before the pack could creep forward and surround it, the animal rears up on it's hind legs giving another ear splitting whinnie, before plunging forward into the midst of the pack. You turn away in a fright, as the confusion of hair hooves and claws clash together, with the sounds of sheer whinnies and whimpers mesh together. Eventually, you look back, and you see the animal standing in a pile of beaten, confused lupes, and what left of the pack chased away, whimpering with tails between legs. It gave the head lupe a last, sharp kick, then turns round to face you. The thing looks at you with emerald eyes afire, but the eyes have a mischevious glint in. There is something about this beast which you can't put your finger on...And why would it want to save you from a clan of hunting lupes?

As it walks closer, it's shape is illuminated by the moon, and you see it has the shape of a horse, a unicorn, but with immensely large, eagle like wings. It looks like it was part of the rose bush it jumped over, as rose vines covered it's legs and tail. Finally, it spoke, in a dreamy type of voice, the voice of a young girl. 'What do you think you are doing here in the middle of the forest? At NIGHT?' You just stand their, in awe at the the beautiful creature with stunning black wings. She tuts, then says 'You are safe now anyway, but not for long, they'll be back, they always are. Ride on my back and I'll take you back to where you came from.' She kneels down, and you have no choice but to board on her long slender back. 'Ready?' she asks, and giving her an uncertain nod, she plunges forward into a gallop, stretching out her featherd wings, before making an enormous bound, then jumping over the thorny rose bush again, lightly tipping a rose head so dew splashed up onto her long flowing fetlocks. She soared over the bush, but didn't land, she kept on soaring into the coming dawn of day. Up above the trees, she flew like a bird of prey on her massive, yet elegant wings. The red, pink and orange light up the waking sun caught on her silvery horn and hooves. Everything seems better now that you are on her back, riding the wind, swirling the clouds. "By the way, my name is Crystal." she says.

The forest soon runs out, and you start flying over masses of grassland, where the wind whistled through the blades of grass making them ripple like water. Finally the stretches of sea glisten in the horizon, and then your'e flitting over them too like a dragonfly. Flotsams dive in and out of the waters below, and Crystal loops down to skim the water with her front hoof. The wind rushes through her mane, lightly whisping your face. She looks at you out of the corner of her eye, and then says "I guess you will be wanting to know my story." After a while she sighs, as if she had given into something. "I used to live in a large herd, surrounded by loved ones, my sisters, my parents. One day, my sisters and I went for a walk to the lake, as it was a hot day, and we got bored standing in the shade. We trotted off together towards the water hole, forgetting to tell our parents. The waterhole was about a mile away, so we got there pretty quickly. Once there, we all plunged in, neighing and snorting at each other, letting the cool waters wash over us. After about an hour of splashing about, we got out and shook ourselves off. My eldest sister led the way, trotting slightly faster than us. My unusually long legs carried me forward. I decided to take a short cut just to show off and brag how magic I was to suddenly appear at the herd before my sisters. I ducked behind a bush, and when they were about a yard away, I snuck down a secret beaten track I had found when exploring one day.
The day was hot, and the dusty orange ground kicked up forming sandy clouds behind me. This part of the world was relatively unexplored, and even I knew nothing about it. A breeze rushed about me, then got steadily stronger, whistling through the bristly savannah thorn bushes around the track. I trotted forward. As the wind built up, o did my adrenaline, I surged forward into a canter, pulling my ears back. Soon I was racing a sandstorm, trying to beat it home. It bellowed up into the pale blue sky, towering over me. I sighted the herd in the distance. I could just make it to them before the storm caught me. Then, I saw a large black stallion with a large pack of lupes trailing behind charging for the herd. I whinnied a warning, and the herd looked into the direction of the stampeding lupes. It was like lightning struck the herd, they scattered, running into the mountains. The sky was now filled with dirt and sand and dust, suddenly the sky fell in on me, like a large blanket. I stopped, unable to see where I was. The storm soon thinned, and before me, stood a horrible...
evil...
dark...
stallion.
He towered over me like a god of emmense powers, before rearing up at me. The lupes surrounding him suddenly became clear aswell, and all howled in harmony. The black beast came down with a thud, looked at me with dark blue eyes, and lowered his horn till it was level with my chest. Scared, I stayed completely still, breathing hard. Suddenly, he thrust his spiraled horn into my chest, and a great power flew into me. Green fire sparked everywhere, and I neighed in pain. Then he released his horn. There was no scar, but my eyes suddenly filled with fire and anger. I reared, chasing all the lupes away. They wimpered, and cowered away. Behind me, the stallion laughed evily. I span round, and the kindness returned to my dark emerald eyes. I backed away, then ran, confused and in disbeleif. I did not feel afraid of anything now, I just ran on into the wilderness. Even when a cobra stretched into the path infront of me and swiped a blow, I just leapt over it as if it where a rock. I still do not know what happened that day, or what the stallion did to me and my herd, but I will confront him again. As for my cowardly parents, I will continue to look for them, and my missing sisters." She was silent for a while, breathing deeply in the breeze. Soon, familiar land is in sight on the horizon.

As soon as land comes beneath you, she drops you off, but walks with you till you are a safe distance to your home.'Don't go wondering again, you hear?' but her happy smile and the twinkle in her eye makes you smile back. Then with a snort and stamp of a hoof, she was gone and away to her forest as quickly as she had come. You watch after her for a while, then turn round and walk home.

~*~Star~*~
I met Star when I was wandering the forest, and we were soon talking like best friends. I invited her to a race across the mountains, but we soon forgot the race to play about on the beach. Star is probably my best friend, and I will never forget her. I am glad to have met such a mare, and proud to call her my friend. She is proably my best friend ever, I feel I can talk to her when I feel down or lonely, especially in the herd. I don't know what I'd do without her! ^^

~*~Chuckie~*~
I found Chuckie in an underwater cave, a sad robot peophin. She had rusted in the waters, so I rescued her and brought her to land. I found out she was changed from a disco peophin to a robot, and she was pining terribly for her underwater friends. So, I gave her the power of flight, and with her I found the crys... let's just say we explored and found treasure shall we? This mare has such a kind heart, even after what she has been through. I wish no harm to come to her, and that she can once more play with her friends happily under the sea.

~*~DJ~*~
Yes, I know, I know. This is the one exception in my reputation of hatinf lupes... I first met DJ in a moonlit graveyard as I was searching for my family, when I was ambushed by a pack of lupes. They wounded me in their first attack, and I was unable to defend myself or fly away. DJ rebelled against his clan to save me, attacking the head lupe Briac. The others helped him hobble away, and leaving DJ with me. After that, (for I was wary, him being a lupe) wwe walked, before being ambushed again by a werelupe. Somehow, we both fended him off, leaving him to run away whimpering! DJ has an unforgettable character, and he is one of very few lupes I would be proud to call a friend.

~*~Aiedrean~*~
Ah, Aie. He is a sweetie, yet he can be very cautious around me. I do not know how he feels, but hopefully he likes me as a friend. He has told me what a bad past he has had, yet his speech was quite stumbly. I couldn't help myself and my curiosity led me to ask some really deep questions. I hope I haven't hurt him... I still feel that he is hiding something from me. He says that we must go North to a place where there will be an arrival of somesort... I am glad to go with him but I feel there is more to him. But he has a kind heart and soul under that strangely marked body of his...

~*~Nawalek~*~
This stallion is an excellent racer, fast as the wind and quick like a cat. He has taught me some of his ancient magic, like how to make fire. I am slowly getting the hang of it, learning from the master! I still have a lot to find out about him, but I don't want to bring back any painful memories if there is any... He is a great guy and I hope to spend some more with him.

~*~Boltac~*~
Hmmm, Boltac is... interesting. Yet very mysterious. I know hardly anything about him, and at first we had a bit of an upset. He wasn't interested in my presence, and I confronted him. I am sure it is because I have wings, and he has none. Anyways, I think it is patched up again now, having saved him from drowning. I showed him my favourite place, high in the mountains which look out over the world. I really want to get to know him more, if we survive the long journey back through the water logged cave!

~*~Raven~*~
Raven! She is quite fun when you get to know her a bit better. I do not know her very well, but she has a good brain inside that pretty head of hers! At first, we just exchanged insults between each other, then after a quick race, the whole atmosphere lightened a little. I am so glad to have found another sane chocolate lover! I know she will love Mrs.Potett at the chocolate shop... I think she thinks Potett owns me! Chocolate... gragh...

The heavenly angel! What a great mare, so innocent, and lovely to be around. At first, I thought she was a bit stuck up, trying to stop Starsheer from helping her brother, and basically getting in the way of others emotions. But as I grew to know her, she seemed to have a very gentle nature, and she fancies Heaven. ^^ Well not so much as fancies, more like LOVES, which creates a problem for poor Heaven as Starsheer also loves him, but doesn't know it. Hard decision... I just hope he makes the right one...

This is Crystal! Her coat base colour is white, and she has very dark brown hooves. Her horn is silver. Her leg markings are as followed: front legs and hind right leg have stockings up to her knees, her hind left leg has a sock up to the start of her fetlock. They all are a dark chocolate colour and they all have medium and small spots surrounding the end of the marking. She has a type of apaloosa blanket pattern on her bottom which is chocolate with white big, medium and small spots and a celtic pattern on her rump. She has dark chocolate coloured mane and tail, with a vine around the top of her tail with a rose on top. Around each leg is a small circlet of vine with a rose on the side. The other markings are shown clearly on the pic.
