Okay...um...*in best Borg voice* I am the Motherboard...

I seem to have been entrusted with keeping things running and making sure most folks behave themselves relatively sensibly most of the time. Sometimes, I'd much rather play my former role as the "flirty girl in the pillow pile", but OLDPD needs all the parenting it can get lately and it's often true that the ones who care the most work the hardest. *laughs* I'm pretty serious about the idea of personal responsibility (both mine and others'), I don't like the random/n00bish turn OLDPD has taken lately, and I'm growing nostalgic for the "old days" of OLDPD, when the regulars could pretty much be trusted to monitor their own behavior and I could spend more time working at being witty than at whapping misbehaving children.

On the site:

Restocking is my "thing"...I enjoy RSing and love the adrenaline rush of getting a major UB. I'd say I'm moderately good at it...much better than I am at gaming.

Adopting/zapping/rehoming pets is a fun pastime for me on the site and I have lab and petpet lab on all 4 of my accounts.

I enjoy plots, especially that "thinking together" that happens when several of us get together to puzzle out the next step.

Personally:

I have a degree in math and teaching is in my blood.

I'm into arts/crafts big time. I scrapbook, make jewelry (both cold forged silver pieces and steel chainmail pieces), make beaded Christmas ornaments, snap lots and lots of pictures (particularly of my kid and of botanicals...I love leaves! *giggles*)...and cook, and cross-stitch... ...and...and...and...you get the idea.

I love to read and enjoy fantasy series like Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and lighter stuff like Robert Asprin's Myth series.
