Oh! guest, you found me. I guess that I have been pretty hard to pin down lately.
Let me introduce myself. I am Asthertet named after an Egyptian lion goddess who was an aspect of Astarte.
My 1rst Birthday
I think that I should mention this, as it was the most special of any day I have experienced, and my favorite memory.
I may have been born in the Lost Desert to desert parents, but I ended up being drawn to the faeries. Ever since my 1rst birthday I was painted faerie and have lived in the Sylvan Forest with the fey-type and faerie creatures that roam here.

For my present she gave me this peculiar carved box, and told me not to open it until I was alone. From this box came strange glowing faerie magics, and it was then that I was truly blessed.
Fey-Walker
 | You see, faeries have this type of magic known as glamour which is basically 'illusions'. |
Well, nearly immediately my eyes could pierce through these illusions. Not only that but the areas that connected the mortal realm to that of faerie began to become clear. I actually was able to see the pathways and trods to Arcadia!
It wasn't long before I found myself able to shift between these realms by pure thought. (Appropriately the faeries call this place 'Between'.) But I could only stay there for a few seconds before I was in danger of being trapped 'in Between'. Now I can shift for a full minute at a time, and even do small 'jumps' between space by doing so. (Only 15 ft total of jumps seems to be the most I can handle in a day.)
To witnesses I seem to shimmer then vanish from sight in the blink of an eye.
The faeries have told me that I am a Fey-Walker and that what I do is called Sidestepping and Jaunting. Apparently I should get better at this with practice.
Adventuring
I have grown to love to exploring the land, wandering and adventuring. There are many things to see, many people to meet, and many to save. Quests and new horizons are my focus in life now.
I love adventuring.

The Sylvan Forest
The Sylvan Forest is a place filled with faerie type creatures, mostly good, some wicked. There are many who pass by here, live here, or even live in one of the bordering faerie forests.
All and all I have become close with some of the important figures here.
DancingNymph is the true leader of this forest, um, if you could call her a leader. She is playful, friendly and whimsical. You can typically find her at the Faerie Pond where she takes care of the special faeries that flit about it.
Queen Tasmira is a faerie draik, and apparently Queen of the Faerie Draiks. I'm not sure if that is supposed to mean for just the Sylvan Forest, all of Neopia, the Draik Clan where she tends to frequent, or all of the above. She is rather fun, a bit of a practical joker, but now I can see through her faerie glamours. *giggles*
She has a 'faerie king' named PhiLorre who seems to be a regular fire draik, and not a faerie at all.
Aaraendorlia and Aduialendorlia are the faerie draik princesses, and twin daughters of Tasmira. They are still rather young, but one seems to be quite light and good, while the other seems dark and selfish. I have a bad feeling about this.
Seraphim is a strange new development in the forest. I am accustomed to faerie speak and have already spend many a day speaking with her, curious about her past. In passing she may seem to be an ordinary, spritely, tiny fey... but after talking with her, I have learned that there is much much more to her history then I realised.
Family
TaRepy, my Moot (Egyptian for 'mother') is rather fun, much like a kid tht never grew up. She also is the only Hieroglyph pet in Neopia.
Suinaia is oddly both my 'big' and my little sister. My mother found her orphaned in the desert and took her in to be a 'big' sister to me, for even though I was older in age, my body was still that of a baby kougra.
When we get together we have a riotous time. At times it may seem odd, but even now with the changes that my turning faerie brought to my form, I still look up to my younger sibling as if she was older.
Sendair, my step-father I believe. He and my mother are very close, I consider him like a second father.
Auramuro is my Netcher-Yeet (God-Father) and he's the BEST! He has always been there for me, and became a father figure to me when my own father began to vanish from Neopia. He is also the one who helped me become faerie, and gave me my first flying lessons.
Crumpitt, my Yeet (father). Yes, he is a blumaroo. My parents had split when he was taken from us by fate. My mother may have a new love, but he will always be my Yeet.
Friends
Ruyker is a shoyru who has been friends with me since I was a tiny, pouncing, baby kougra kitten. lol. Sometimes, just for practice, I still sneak up and pounce on him.
Gwen is such an adorable, tiny, faerie creature. I met her on an outing away from the forest, and became enamoured by her child-like mannerisms and sweet demeanor. She is a delight to be near.
Cameron seems to have the same interest in faeries that I do! It's wonderful to meet such a kindred spirit. I can feel a connection forming already, and I'm sure that we'll become the best of friends.
Optomes... we were once close but I never seem to hear from him anymore. I do know that he is busy, being a bit of a 'knight errant', protecting the innocent, travelling. But I'm starting to think that he's never coming back.
Sadly I have given up hope.. and am moving on.
