Past story: friends(none), family(none), anchra, how he got there

indentindentindent While at a picnic with your family (you were starting to get tired of potato salad, sandwiches, and chips), you decide to venture off to explore. Entering a large, dark forest, you find it difficult to move through the thick thickets and at times get small cuts from the brambles. At last, you find what you need for an adventure.
indentA cave.
indentA nice dark one, too. you think while moving some vines away from the entrance and peering in. Taking your first step into the cave, you observe how incredibly spooky the cave now seems. A chill ran up your spine just looking at the blind darkness that was up ahead.
indentIt could be dangerous, ya' know! There may be a pack of wovles in here, you better get out while you still can... said a little squeaky voice in your head.
indentBut what about your 'adventure'? You ought to continue it. And come on,wolves? Yeah, right. If you find anything down there, you should fight it! Use your teeth, then throw some punches... came another tough, little voice, echoing in your head.
indentAh, shut up!" you tell the little voices and hit your head with a fist, "Ow! Shoot, that hurt!
indentYou continue onward all the same, rubbing the numb spot where you hurt yourself, into the dark abyss. Stumbling along, groping in the darkness for the wall of the cave as a guide, you make your way further and further. As you feel the slope of the cave's floor desend, you hear drips of water dropping ever so slowly and your foot steps echo off of the walls as the passage becomes larger.
indentAfter what seems like thirty minutes of walking, you come upon a colossal cavern that's the size of a grand ballroom. Staring above, admiring the gigantic stalactites hanging from the domed ceiling of the cavern, you suddenly slip and land on your bottom. You hadn't noticed the still and silent underground lake infront and you found yourself now almost a foot deep in water. When about to get up, you stopped dead at what you saw.
indentPale white figures were slowly moving towards you in the water. Once they came within your sight of vision you saw that the were only fish. Nearer they came, and when were so close you could have touched one, you noticed that they had no eyes.
indentBut, while staring at where the fishes' eyes would have been, you hadn't noticed the abnormally large and sharp teeth that their open mouths were bearing until they started biting at your sneakers.
indentArgh! Get off!" you said, getting to your feet and trying to kick them off, "Get off! Get off!!
indentAnd once again, you frozen in place because this time you heard something that could have frightened anyone to death: a low hissing. And-- what was this? You strained your ears to hear what sounded like--
indentUncoiling.
indentA gargantuan shadow was moving on a small rock island in the middle of lake. A splash from the water sent the eyeless fish scattering. The shadow now moved closer and closer in the water; it's intimidating yellow eyes could be seen through the darkness.
indentHorrorstruck, you waited, unmoving, as the immense creature arrived where you stood by the water's edge. It slowly raised its head from the water's depths-- eyes shown with malice and great disgust.
indentAt last, you knew what this monster was, though it was in the least comforting. Along with yellow eyes, you could tell this serpent-like creature was covered in murky teal- and dark grey-colored scales. Horns were perched menacingly on the top of its head, small ones over its brow, and upon the creature's vast, leathery wings.
indentIn a spine-chilling hissing voice it spoke, "Who are you and why are you here...?
indentI am guest. I'm here on an adventure and I'm going slay you, you monsterous beast!" is what you would have said, but under the circumstances you found yourself speaking:
indentAre you going to eat me?
indentHmm? Why yesss, of course. I haven't had a proper meal in yearss," it hissed with a slight smile curling at the ends of its mouth. It suddenly jerked its head and aimed a bite at you, but missed as you fell backwards in fear.
indentARGH! NO! No! Please, please stop!" you begged while trying to strain your mind to think of a way to delay your premature death by being eaten.
indentSsstop? Tell me, why should I let you deny me the pleasure of eating you?" the creature sneered as a reply.
indentBecause.... because if-if you tell me who you are and... and why you're going to eat me I'll understand more and I'll let you eat me," you said, your voice growing somewhat stronger. As an afterhtought you added, "And I'll probably taste better, too, if you tell me.
indentThe giant serpent considered the offer for a moment and simply said, "Fine.
indentIt turned around, but with the tip of its tail, grabbed one of your ankles and began dragging you though the water towards the rock island.
indentWhile trying to keep afloat and not drown the creature said, "Just as a precaution, I'll bring you to my rock, so you can't run out of my clutches. The water's very deep and the blind-fish enjoy flesh too, so they'd get you before you've swam five feet.
indentOnce arriving at the island, the creature hauled you onto the rock and coiled itself up as to get comfortable.

indentThe great creature stopped speaking and stared deeply at you for a moment with it's yellow eyes, until suddenly saying
indentI'm getting quite hungry," Asclepuis (what kind of name is that anyways?) hissed, "Well, is there anything else you'd like to know?
indentEhh?!" You had been caught by surprise and said the only thing that came to your mind, "Er, umm... where did you come from?
indentHmm, curiousss, aren't we? That's one thing I don't even know; where I come from," it paused, "But I'll tell you what I know. Let your life last a trifle longer," and with hissing laughter, lauched right into its story.

Thousands of years past, I was placed here. I never have known the world outside of this cavern since I was placed here as an egg, and hatched here. Thus have known nothing of my parents or any of their other progeny. As time passed, I became adjusted to my surroundings and .... Um I don't know what to write.
