I'm such a cute draik!

Hello guest! My name is AlexanderAugustus, and as you can see, I am a beautiful Maraquan Draik. My owner, silverdragon6886 says I am very special as I am rare, and I completely understand! I mean, seriously, who could be as cute and adorable as me? ;) So, what does a young Draik like me enjoy doing? Well everyone knows Draiks just love flying; we spend most of our time in the air and are amazing at aerial stunts. You should have seen the snazzy backwards loop I flew yesterday. Hehe… silverdragon6886 was very proud, even if I'm not as talented as my amazing brother, Rubicon. Don't get me wrong, he can't fly, but that's not what I mean. He's an evil genius, you know. Him and Zack both. But I love him.

Well, it's a beautiful, lush, enchanted land filled with green meadows, thick forests and magnificent castles. It's said that Meridell is the only place left in Neopia where the ancient magicks still roam freely across the land. Though Meridell is a country with great beauty, it has a terrible past, with more wars to its name than any other region of Neopia. I wish I could have defended my homeland against Lord Kass, but I wasn't strong enough to fight; not even the spyders. But hey, that's what I keep Christopher and Rubicon around for. Rube took on the first wave of the battle while Christopher helped Jeran's knights evacuate the peasants. Rubicon defeated 150 Giant Spyders before he fell to the fury of Kass's force. After Christopher found Rube and brought him safely home, Chris fought another 150 sypders and slew 6 Eyrie guards as well. Both my brothers are true Defenders of Meridell and I'm very proud of them. I rejoice now that Kass is defeated and Meridell is returning to peace. Christopher and Rube, this is for you. Thanks guys. Well, back to me. Despite my love for Meridell, I have to be honest and tell you that I've never actually lived there. Draiks are from Meridell, its true, and on a certain level I do feel drawn to the place, but in reality I have always lived on Mystery Island with my family. I was born in Meridell though, at the Draik Nest, as is every egg-born Draik in Neopia. I'm glad to be rid of that lonely cavern, to tell you the truth. Even with silverdragon6886 and the others, the venerability of that ancient place unnerves me. When I do visit Meridell, I usually stay over at my best friend Kats house. Her older brother Zack doesn't really like company though, so I have to be careful not to drive him nuts or stay over for too long at once. Overall, I'm content enough not living in Meridell. I love Mystery Island, my family, and all my petpets. Especially my petpets. I have quite a few of them. silverdragon6886 says my collection is getting too expensive, but what do I care? They're all just so cute I can't help myself. Would you care to see a few of them? Ok, sure thing. Aren't they cute? I just love petpets. My favorite right now is Ruth, my White Gallion, and considering he's got a Cooty, silverdragon6886 says I better keep him around for a while. I guess that's fair enough. Well, I've told you that my family and I live on Mystery Island but I haven't told you why. Fact is, two of my three older brothers are Kougras, and the Island is their home. They were born first and that's where silverdragon6886 decided to buy our Neohome. I like it there better anyway; plenty of prizes to get from the Tombola, the training school right next door, the Trading Post just down the block, and plenty of hot sand to bask on. Its very warm on Mystery Island; something Kougras and Draiks both love. Time to go eat! Well anyway, enough about me.
