Once rescued, we heal, feed, educate, and zap the pets to enhance their chance of finding a loving, forever home. The PRECIOUS PETS Agency was founded in Year 7 (2005) of Neopia's present era and has an impressive track record. They come in different sizes and shapes and there is at least one for each species of pet. UFA/NFT Banners It should be obvious, but with the crazy trading frenzy running wild through Neopia, we must emphasize that Precious Pets shown on this page are Never For Trade. Anyone (other foster parents or adoption agencies) who would like to see a selection of available UFA/NFT banners (like at the top of this page) click here. How to Use This Page 1. Be sure your account has fewer than four pets and is old enough to adopt the pet you like. If there is a Diamond under the picture, TNT requires your account to be 4 months old because the pet is over level 2, has a rare paint and/or is Limited Edition. A Heart ♥ means that the pet will come with a Petpet. Young accounts can adopt some painted pets - those with only a Heart ♥ and those with no symbol at all. 2. Click the pet's picture to see the account of the foster parent and any special rules. 3. Apply for the pet as instructed. Good Luck! 4. The foster parent will be back in touch with you as soon as they can. (Please remember that we all have lives off site that can limit our time in Neopia. If you have not heard from an application in a reasonable amount of time, be sure to check to see if the foster parent has been on line. If necessary, you can neomail whimsylowe for assistance.) Disclaimer The only cost for these pets is the fee charged by the Pound - which is about 100 nps per level. While we are experienced with adoptions and are successful about 90% of the time, no adoption is a sure thing - unfortunately. In the "new" pound (see below) we no longer can use the Quick Adoption Link making pounding to rehome more risky. TNT has asked adoption guilds to post this warning, and we are glad to comply because it's good for everyone to know the risks. The "New" Pound Because of pet redraws and the advent of customisation, the Pound was down for maintenance from April 28, 2007 until April 29, 2008. Things are different now. So called paint brush clothing will no longer accompany a pet into the Pound. This means Alien, Christmas, Desert, Halloween, Island, Disco, Robot, Pirate, Zombie and Royal pets will need to be rehomed via the new Transfer option or arrive without their clothing if abandoned. PB clothing also includes collars for Aishas and Ixis, bows for Bruce and Usuls, and headpieces for Elephantes, for basic colors as well as colors that include no clothing for other species such as Cloud, Striped, etc.
