Notes to self: - Do not forget, these are only basic sketches of the items possible. This will let you turn by 10 degree increments. - To place items on top of walls try rotating to -180 or any diagonal position. - Neohoming becomes expensive fast, try to look for cheaper alternatives when a plan becomes costly. e.g. Wock til you drop posters instead of zen drawers. Also, Loriengal9 has compiled a list of cheaper furni items here: Takashi462 - It is easier and more efficient to plan out a home before beginning to build. Cuts down on demolition later. T.V.  Step 1: Assemble parts. Approx. 3-4 wock til you drop poster, 1 appropriate poster or window, 4 zen drawer. Step 2: Overlap wock posters to form a black bottom. Step 3: Rotate wock poster and overlap smudge on bottom of other wock posters. Step 4: Place in screen of television. Step 5: Rotate and place zen drawers to serve as sides of television box. Step 6: Place other zen drawers on top but behind screen to serve as back of television. Place finished T.V. appropriately in room. top Laptop  Step 1: Assemble parts. Approx. 4 brown petpet bed, 1 iron mirror Step 2: Rotate 1 of the petpet beds so that the small square will be at the top. Place one petpet bed on top. Step 3: Place another petpet bed just slightly offset of the previous petpet bed. Step 4: Place another petpet bed just slightly offset in the other direction of the previous petpet bed. Step 5: Place mirror to serve as screen. Step 6: Place finished laptop in room in a position so that the excess will be covered up. top Washer and Dryer Unit   Step 1: Assemble parts. 2 rock chair, 2 hewn stone sofa, 1 tyrannian style window, 1 hewn stone table, 3 zen drawer, 1 feepit bath bucket, 1 sketch lamp, appropriate shelving units and decorative items. Step 2: Place rock chair against wall and place tyrannian window on top near front. Step 3: Overlap two hewn stone sofas on top of tyrannian -blocked- Step 4: Place a rock chair beside and slightly underneath current assemblage, place hewn stone sofa on top. Step 5: Place bucket on top and cover with sketch lamp. Step 6: Place zen drawers underneath bucket to form a rectangular shadow. Step 7: Place shelving above current units. Step 8: Place decorative units on top of shelving. top Piano  Step 1: Assemble parts. 7 zen drawer, 2 wock til you drop poster, 8 small table lamp, 1 suitable chair. Step 2: Rotate the lamps so the large side faces down. Overlap the table lamps alternating leaving marks. Step 3: Rotate the posters to -90 degrees and place underneath the lamps so that no white is showing. Step 4: Place two drawers facing each other to form a piano leg. Create two legs on top of the lamps. Step 5: Rotate the drawers so that a small white line appears and place on top of the lamps. Step 6: Place one drawer on top of the two others in the previous step. Step 7: Place chair and any character to finish the piano. top Microwave  Step 1: Assemble parts. 1 zen drawer, 1 zen mirror, 1 babaa lamp. Step 2: Place mirror on top of drawer. Step 3: Place lamp underneath drawer with cord sticking out. top Aquarium  Step 1: Assemble parts. 6 large plain window, 1 icy desk, and appropriate aquarium decorum, i.e. rocks, plants, creatures, etc. Step 2: Place two windows on the sides of the icy table. Step 3: Place four windows under the top and bottom of the table, two for each. Step 4: Arrange plant items appropriately. Step 5: Place rocks and other structures appropriately. Step 6: Place aquarium creatures to finish the aquarium. top Fireplace  Step 1: Assemble parts. 1 rock chair, 6 stone box, 1 hewn stone sofa. Step 2: Place two stone boxes on top of rock chair. One at 90 degrees, the other at -90 degrees. Step 3: Place two more stone boxes on top of previous boxes. Move them slightly inward and upward. Step 4: Repeat previous step. Step 5: Top the entire unit with a hewn stone sofa. Step 6: Place against wall in room to enhance the illusion of height. top Stove  Step 1: Assemble parts. 4 elegant table lamp, 1 classic dining table, 2 violet shelf unit, appropriate cupboards and counters. Step 2: Place the 4 lamps on top of the table in a square. Step 3: Place the 2 violet shelf units underneath the table. One of them should have the drawer sticking out. Step 4: Place against wall in room and surround with cupboards and counters. top Flowerpot  Step 1: Assemble parts. 1 milk chocolate table, 3 sunset coral lamp, 3 purple coral sculpture, approx. 4 wiggling seaweed plant and a border of some kind for the "pot". Step 2: Place border for the pot on top of the table. Step 3: Arrange the coral sculptures on the table. Step 4: Place lamps on ends of the coral sculptures to form flowers. Step 3: Arrange the seaweed plants to partially cover the brown of the table. top Phone A  Step 1: Assemble parts. 1 grundo inspired dresser, 4 blue broom, 1 sunny yellow chair, 1 babaa lamp. Step 2: Place the sunny yellow chair on top of the dresser. Top side down. Step 3: Place a blue broom on top of the chair at an angle, approx. 20-30 degrees difference. Step 4: Continue placing brooms on top. Change the angle with each broom so the end result is circular. Step 5: Place babaa lamp underneath the dresser so only the cord is showing. B  Alternate phone: 1 functional grey chair, 1 wooden mop, 1 Spooky Green Candles. Assemble with the green candles on top of the wooden mop on top of the chair. top Themed homes/rooms  Themed homes are somewhat different from a standard home in that it is more difficult to substitute in different items for what is needed. Also with not being able to pick and choose the furni being used many times the cost ($$$) will be substantial. Here are some plans for different spooky elements that could be used in such a home. Note: Not cheap 1. Grisly Bathtub: Parts- 1 black skull candle, 2 spooky bone candles, 1 spooky bathtub, approx. 4-5 cloud rugs. 2. Spider and Prey: Parts- 1 spyder foot rest, 1 spyder web rug, 1 "prey", in this case a disco squeaky petpet toy. 3. Flying Head: Parts- 1 esophagor drawer, 1 green hissi chair. 4. Jubjub of Doom: Parts- 1 earth faerie sink, red jubjub table. Err...well actually that isn't very spooky. In fact, it's kind of cute. I'll just erase this later. top General Stair Tutorial  Explanation: There are many kinds and ways of doing stairs. This will be a general explanation of the details for successful stairs. The Necessary Parts are what makes stairs stairs. It's not necessary to use what is pictured here, but something of the sort will be required. The Unnecessary Parts are what are used in the above picture to make that design work. They may or may not be required for a different design. Necessary Parts: Steps (Classic Dining Table), Bannister (popcorn garland and small table lamp and violet shelf unit) Unnecessary Parts: Shading for doorways (Wock til you drop poster and zen drawer), Height helper (fireplace, round green table, zen mirror), Flooring (dried bamboo mat). Placement: For the stairs to look as they should a ground level should be determined. This is easiest accomplished by aligning with the bottom of the walls in room. For a look of height as the stairs go up or down, the steps should be aligned to go above or below the ground level. If there is difficulty moving items there see Technical Notes above. Also, it is important to look at the coordinates of the stairs to make sure all of the stairs are equidistant and staggered apart from each other for straight-looking stairs.
